Been having issues with the installation of AAF and it also with AAF violate. For some reason, the animations that come with everything don't work, and when I installed a separate set of animations, the male models simply didn't show. Any help?

Neither AAF nor Violate come with animations, you need to download animation packs which mods like Violate "call" via AAF. Secondly if your male bodies aren't showing up did you install a male body mod or are you trying to use the default male body. AAF and most other mods require you to install a male body mod like BT3.

To be more accurate, some animations may benefit from use of body replacers. AAF itself does not require them, and can also run animations which work with vanilla bodies.

Someone help, im confused. i have AAF violate and morning sex with lover and I have this AAF themes installed. For some reason it doesn't show the pop up or the debug menu and options. BUT, it does show the AAF Theme in a new starting game. The question is... how the hell do I have it enabled in my loaded games? I don't want to start a new game. I dont understand why AAF Theme works in a new game but not in my saved games. Am i missing something? And yes I have most installed mods that are written in the requirements. AAF Violate doesn't work because AAF theme doesn't work, so its really confusing.

It's quite likely that your existing save is screwed up in some way which is preventing Themes from being accessible (or possibly breaking AAF entirely since you say you also can't get to "the debug menu" by which I assume you mean AAF's on-screen interface?). Probably the only way you're going to know for sure is to go diving in your papyrus.log looking for obvious errors. Since it's working in a new playthrough, the mod itself is almost certainly fine.

I used all of the 3 files, individualy and simultaneusly. and all of them end up with this error on the top left:

"AAF OnSceneInit status [4]"

Please help i can't take it anymore

That error generally means no appropriate animation was found. Did you actually install any animation packs? You're asking in the Themes support thread, and Themes just provides keywords for old animations so they can be classified by mods calling AAF. Themes does not provide any animations at all.

If you need a comprehensive walkthrough for setting up a full array of AAF-oriented mods, then The Fucking Manual is the current reference (also pinned in the AAF subforum). As it mentions, if you need help with this stuff, your fastest route to success will be asking in the help channels on the AAF Discord.

I got it fixed now, i feel like an idiot for not getting this right, now i just need more animation packs...

Can you make a clear explanation on how to install/make them functional? I don’t get any animations playing

this mod is just applying the tags to call forth the animations from other mods (it's essential if you want to use AAF), you need to install animations, i suggest you take a look at the manual wich got all the explanation you need to set up your adult mods and links to download animation pack

Everything downloaded properly but when loading the game the animations dont play out. it says that the mod was downloaded and yet it doesnt play the animations

This doesn't have animations this only has the animation tags. AAF runs the animations but it doesn't have any animations in it, it's a framework, you need animation packs to have animations run.

Open the AAF on-screen interface with the Home key on your keyboard, then press the End key to stop the running scene, followed by the Home key again to hide the AAF interface. This will transition the scene to "ending" (though it won't necessarily stop right away, it should within a few seconds or so).

But this is usually a symptom of some sort of problem, most often that whatever triggered the AAF scene was built for an old version of AAF or that you're using an old version of AAF with a mod made for a new version. If you still can't figure it out, visit the AAF Discord (invite link is on the AAF file page) and ask in the NSFW help channel there.

You don't mention what mods are triggering  the animations. Some may be very old and abandoned by their authors, so without details it's hard to guess what the problem might be. For example, are you specifically experiencing it with animations started by Boston Breeder? It was made for a very old version of AAF and has not been updated to correctly end animations it starts, so they just run forever unless you manually terminate them after some time.

How do you use these?

The Themes mod adds metadata "tags" to animation packs which lack them. You use it with the animations it extends, as an integral part of the AAF-oriented mod ecosystem:

I'm getting Mo2 installation error as this: "Installation as FOMOD failed: No conditions were successful in an 'OR' clause!"

Any help would be appreciated.

SOLVED: For those who might face the same problem, simply activate the main AAF you downloaded and activate AAF.esm on the right column of MO2.

Thanks a million, this should be a sticky post for sure.

I know I'm necroing an old thread, but this helped me so much. Doing a clean reinstall to move FO4 to a new drive and was just installing everything with MO2 without activating. This was my error and this solution fixed it. TY so much!!!

Skimming back through your posts since you started reporting an issue about this in November, you don't say whether all actors in the animation are stuck or only some. In the case of MHK, I guess it's animations involving super mutants and human females? Do all the actors continue the animation forever, or just the super mutants? If the latter, are you using AAF NativeSync combined with UAP or Creature Resources? There's a known conflict between those which causes the super mutants to remain stuck in their idles after a scene concludes, you can find a patch to fix it in NativeSync's support topic.

The robots aren't on the AAF menu when I press home. how do I fix it?

Did you install an animation pack with robot animations? For example, Savage Cabbage's animation pack comes with some for protrectrons and mr. handys, though you need to explicitly enable them in its FOMOD installer menu.
