pickle68 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Hey, Thank you for your time. I'm just wondering, so I've downloaded both the basic and creature/kinky, but I have no idea where to put any of the files and there's no readme and the wiki talks a lot about themes but not how they work. Basically, I tried hooking them up by dragging and dropping them into vortex which didn't work, and I'm wondering if I need to manually place the items in the AAF folders. Thank you for your help!
Nebuchadnezzer2 Posted May 31, 2019 Posted May 31, 2019 Hmm.@Halstrom been testing why Strap-ons aren't working for Leito's NoFurnFF. Evidently it's your Themes_SexKinky_NoFurnFF_animationMetaData.xml. Tried deleting it and starting a new save, works fine. Re-add it from the archive, new save, same mod list, immediately breaks again, no strap-on. I assume the other animationMetaData.xml's are causing issues too. Presumably from not parsing the difference between animationData and animationMetaData. Â Edit: Also I think due to the SexAnim_overlayData.xml syntax changing from the old version, overlays tend to fail to apply, as they're attempting to, in the case of one I saw just now, SC's FSMSM 'double team', tries to apply the 'M_DP' overlay, which matches the Theme's overlay under 'male' [despite having isFemale="true" anyway], and tries to apply the male-specific overlay, which it can't, instead of the 'mutant' one on a female, which it should be.Having had a bit more of a look at the SexAnim_overlayData.xml, I think either it might need to split to a male/female/mutant trio of files [preferably with something Mut_ to more readily separate Mutant from Male], or you might need to enlist a bit of help to organise the overlays to avoid conflicts between male/mutant, and give you a bit less to manage, especially with the sheer number of files you're handling with the current iterations of Themes." Can't tell/decide if the above should/does apply. Mostly since I'm not sure if the SexAnimoverlayData.xml is intended to include Mutant overlays or if it's intended to be a separate file as Polistro did, that you're still working on/isn't currently in the Theme.

coffee addict Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Idk what this is about but according to the creator of Violate (and own experience trying to get AAF Violate to work), builds after 20190308 don't work all that well with the mod - does anyone know why this is the case? Is it just a dependency in Violate that hasn't been fixed (and could be fixed) or has there been some groundbreaking change in AAF Themes?
matrix7625 Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 i still having the same issue with pennis total rigid.

Hal's getting the groundwork done for Stats in the near future, and shifting around the layout/format of the Themes as well, so it's more buggy than usual.

You should be able to just highlight them in the archive and press delete or right click them and select delete I think its only the 4x raceData.xml files in the base/AAF folder
TsukiDragon Posted June 13, 2019 Posted June 13, 2019 For clarification purposes.....If I don't have any of the DLC content installed, I won't get proper creature animations (no gear on the creatures)?

The only thing the DLC is used for is deciding what additional creatures are available for animations that aren't in the vanilla game I'm not sure it matters if you don't remove those files as it seems they are no longer a requirement.

I downloaded and installed your patch 20190601 and creatures work fine. However when an animation begins TFC is no longer being initiated and if you do it through console and don't turn it off before the animation ends it breaks the scrolling in 3rd person. Don't know if it is this mod or AAF itself, I am not a programmer so can't help.

AAF handles that, and yeah, doing it manually will break things. I'd know, cause I did that several times, among other things

That sounds like AAF wasn't active when you were attempting to install it. Check that it's active in your plugin list, and re-try it.

monstermash334 Posted June 21, 2019 Posted June 21, 2019 I download the kinky version or whatever but file is always corrupted with only 50% downloaded is there a reason this is happening? Ignore this I figured out the reason had install AAF first due this checks for its presence assuming.
Halstrom Posted June 25, 2019 Author Posted June 25, 2019 Themes' no longer contain OverlayData.xml or MorphSetData.xml files, they are being managed by others. Update 20190624.0: Spilt Creature installation in the FOMOD Swapped Time to Frames in AnimationMeta's Various small fixes Removed some old animation references Removed MorphSetData.xml's as they are now handled by BodyTalk2 and AAFMR 3

Hmm that's weird, I'll have to check with a FOMOD guru as there is no "CouldBeUsable" in my FOMOD and I don't use Vortex, there was a recent flurry of issues with Vortex for some other people on another mod too related to a FOMOD update that required a Vortex update so please check you have the latest version please.

Guest Posted June 25, 2019 Posted June 25, 2019 I was able to get this to install in Vortex by changing the "CouldBeUseable" text to "Optional" in the ModuleConfig. Hopefully doesn't affect the install at all. ModuleConfig.XML
