Hey there, i have a simple question, i have been using these mods as a means for replacing most npcs but i still sometimes encounter some blackfaces..  what do you guys (either the OP or anyone else) use so that you encounter little to no blackfaces at all?

TDLR: what mod overhaul is the best for this mod?

Reposting here my answer to Alkzis about the beautification of the females npcs that I use before run the Skyfem Patcher.

The replacers that I use are (try to do this in this order):

Botox for Skyrim SE : The base mod that covers all vanilla npcs and use the NPC Patcher to make NPCs added from mods to look cute before running the Skyfem patcher.

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/20967?tab=posts

OPTIONAL: After botox I like to install the No Makeup Facetints mod to remove the warpaints and dirt from the vanilla npc faces. Also recommend to use the option file "tintimasks for making empty facetints" so the generated females from mods with the Botox Npcs Patcher also don't have warpaint and dirt.

Kalilies NPCs https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30247

Metalsaber's Orcs https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22025

This is for vanilla. When you install a mods that adds npcs first do the Botox NPC Patcher on it and them look on nexus if the mod have some npc replacer.

Some replacers that I use here as an example:

For Interesting NPCS: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/40046

For Citizens fo Tamriel: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/44563

Another trick to increase the poll of beautiful faces before runing the Skyfem Patcher is to use follower mods but the follower needs to be VANILLA RACE for the Skyfem Patcher to use the face in the patcher. Skyfem Patcher will not use custom race followers. If you want to do this I recommend use Zedit to merge the single follower mods to save plugin space since Skyfem Patcher has the 255 plugin limit.

You can also use few mods that adds tons of beautiful female followers with vanilla race like below examples:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/59542

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14016

After all this now you run the Skyfem Patcher and don't forget to go to the dummyoutput folder after and compatct the "textures" and "meshes" folders to a 7zip file and install with you mod manager to avoid blackface problem.

Hey, so I was having some issues with the mod and scripts and I was wondering if anyone could offer some help.

Boils down to this, it turns out one of my mods was causing crashing issues and I did not notice until later in the game because the crash issues were caused by a later game ice spell. So I had to remove said mod, which caused SkyFem to error due to removing one of the masters for the mod. I managed to reinstall the mod and get the game working again, but now all formerly male NPCs have the wrong colored faces again. I have run the script and have marked all males as females yet the issue persists. I even deleted and readded SkyFem scripts to the xEdit scripts folder.

If anyone has any advice that would be super helpful. Thanks.1721121796_831db2589284d623843ba54e2ba75c64(1).png.c0aca0870ba988f2bf6a32637a7b1d88.png

Set up an executable in MO2 for SSEEdit to be run from MO2. Have it start in your actual data folder. By starting it with MO2, it will start in the "virtual folder" (not the real one), and all your mods will be loaded. Create a Edit Scripts folder in the SkyFem mod folder and copy the SkyFem scripts AND text files (including "skyfem ignore.txt") to this folder from the "SkyFem - Scripts v4.0.4.zip" achive. The patcher will find them there. The error says its looking in the real data

folder, but its not. Its looking in MO2's "virtual folder". NOTHING needs to be in your real game folder except the base game and BSA's when you use MO2.

two and a half years (and three skyrim mod setups) later im back setting up skyfem again and had the exact same problem.  Forgot all about the problem and all about posting about the problem.  The quoted post is the solution if like me you put the scripts in the games physical directory rather than in skyfem's directory within mo2's directory (or any other folder that would be merged into the virtual folder)

Thanks much for the advice, script is presently running without the error.

After running the patcher you have to move the items from DummyOutput one folder up. This contains the Facegens for the NPCs.

Let me know if this fixes it.

i had the same problem, along with sos meshes "floating" away from where they should be, i followed the steps including moving the DummyOutput items into the skyfem folder through MO2. it may be a problem with CBBE but other mods require it to function and if that's the problem do you have any fixes or workarounds?

fixed both of my issues, i just decided to download the oldrim unp sos patch for the floating dicks and somehow instead of moving the contents of the DummyOutput into the folder my tired dumbass self moved the DummyOutput folder itself into the mod folder. I need to stop modding at 3am without sleep but now everything works and looks great, for my next trick i hope to download a mod to fix the ugly base skyrim faces with something better

Short of it: I installed Skyfem and boob physics stopped working, failed to check if skyfem itself was working because i uninstalled it. Did I mess up my mods, and if so how do I fix it? I'm at work so i'll post more information if needed later.

I had my first CTD using this mod. My hunch is that I did not install it correctly. The issue is that the boobs stopped jiggling! after I followed the Skyfem install instructions (idk if done correctly) I started a new game, and made a new character but hadn't picked an alt starting point yet. The boobs jiggled fine and mods where loading up so I stepped away. I came back to see the game had CTD. I started a new game again and got a message that said there was an error involving papyrus, i think (I closed the message faster then I could read without thinking). Now the boobs won't move at all.

I'm using CBPC, CBBE, CBBE 3BBB. I reinstalled them and checked the load order again but I still had Stone tits. I also ran the Skyfem script again and had the same issue. Does Skyfem not work with 3BBB?

Notes to consider: #1 I did not check if skyfem acutally worked, I was too distracted by boobs. #2 Instead of being patient I uninstalled skyfem, and moved files from the dummy file into mesh and textures. #3 I have yet run the game again because it was late.

This is the port thread, not the support thread. The main mod was updated back in November.

As for the physics, as long as the characters have HDT physics enabled bodies and XPMSE skeletons, CBP-C should affect them. Just be sure to activate male physics in the configuration ini located in the SKSE folder.

I cannot make physics work for actors that were previously males while using CBBE 3BA (3BBB)
It works with CBBE SMP (3BBB), but naked physics in this mod are bad while physics in clothes are horribly buggy so i would rather not use it.

I tried updating CBPCMasterConfig   MalePhysics=0  to  MalePhysics=1
I tried merging these CBBE 3BA (3BBB) and CBBE SMP (3BBB) in different stupid ways and it did not work.

markMaleAsFemale = true in patcher does not work

Best effect I had was female physics working correctly while physics of males converted to females were frozen in some weird pose but not the normal.

Or maybe is there some other physics mod that is not as bad as  CBBE SMP (3BBB) but works with skyfem?

Wait this is the same issue I was having. I gave up originally on skyfem because of this.

Random but should I still use the gender patch when running fnis, or no?

Simple answer is run FNIS if these both say No then you don't need the patch ticked. If either has animations then you do need the patch.

No GENDER directory male
 19 GENDER modifications for Animations\female

Why does the Beauty patch require SKyr4im Legendary Edition Unofficial patch and How do I progress because I can't do the stupid thing.

P.S. rhetorical:  Why did Skyrim installation shit get so complex, there ARE BETTER WAYS TO IM PLEMEMNT DIFFERENT BODIES AND ANIMATIONS, YES?

Sorry for caps lock
