so it seems that the first morning after creating a new colony every pawn has its genitals reset.

 

it may continue to happen after this im not sure but i believe that at a certain point the pawn is 'deep-saved' and doesnt get genital reset.

 

this random genital reset seems to interfere with the mod RJW-Genes genital size gene and breaks it.

 

any chance this process of genital resetting can be turned off or controlled so that RJW-Genes can work?

yes i know how to manually reset genitals but thats not really the point.

what im trying to say is that RJW resets genital size after the first day of a colony, maybe more..  this breaks the functionality of RJW Genes 'genital size genes'

 

is this a bug? i dont want to have to manually set genital size for every pawn i encounter, there should be a way for the mod to have a fixed genital size that doesnt randomly change

its either RJW or RJW-genes, ive removed all other mods than what is required by RJW and confirmed the genital reset will always happen on the 2nd day of a new colony

I can't seem to download the ero-trader mod by ShauaPuta that is linked in the addons section. Every time I try to click the link, it brings me to a page that says "Sorry, we could not find that!" It's the only one I've had this issue with, and I've downloaded quite a few others without issue. Perhaps there is a broken link there? Of note, the page it brings me to seems to have some random usernames in the upper corner each time, rather than mine? Not sure what could be causing this but I'd like to download that mod for 1.5, if there's a link to it. Also, I wanted to thank all of the modders who have made content for Rimworld on this site, it really does make a great game even better.

yeah its gone for me as well, normally deleted attachments say they are deleted

 

edit: i fixed it, it wasnt deleted, just the link got messed up somehow

I changed the setting so that some sexual acts shouldn't be appearing but they still are quite often.
Anyone have an ideas why before i try to figure it out more?

On another note:
May be a bug with a new "living cumbucket" gene from RJW Genes...

To reiterate on what i meant by this, i looked up the name. Its called a "breeding mount".
Love to have this, make a colony full of sex hungry prisoners who have to relieve themselves on breeding mounts and use the cum for things.... and stuff...

Also a 3rd thing. Has anyone noticed that lactation is causing a double negative on hunger impact? as in when you check the stats its on these twice in 2 forms causing a massive spike in hunger.

Maybe a conflict? maybe the cum one i posted above is also a conflict?

Im not sure if this just me, but for some reason RJW is causing me a issue where all factions don't display on the world map with a exception of two random factions. What's odd is that i've used RJW with the mods before on a different computer and they work just fine.

 

Do i share the error log, or do i share the mods i am currently using?

Indeed i am.

 

Humanoid Alien Races, Anthro Race, Vanilla Races Expanded (Android, Waster, Sanguophage, Incector, Highmate and Fungoid) and Ponies of the Rim. All work just fine together but when RJW is added they seemingly dont want to function.

They all work together just fine on my other computer with RJW included, but not on the computer i am currently using. It is odd.

I can confirm that commit https://gitgud.io/c0ffeeeeeeee/rimworld-animations/-/merge_requests/25 from coffee, 6 days ago, into RJW-Animations on branch 1.5 broke sex need being refilled via masturbation. Thus, your pawns are always horny and masturbating.

 

Use this link to get to version of RJW-Animations before bad commit for now, until branch 1.5 is fixed:

Do the RJW mod options allow for a way to stop any pawns from being generated as male, and instead to generate only female/futanari pawns?

 

I see the option to generate females as futanari, and males as traps. It seems like I can't generate males as futanaris though, but I'm not sure.

 

Ideally I'd like to keep females as females, and turn only males into futanari, for a futanari vs female world.

 

A few years ago, I used a mod (which is now deleted) to make all pawns spawn as female, and then I used the RJW option to turn all females into futanari. That worked to create an futanari-only world.

no, rjw only allows to get gender+, so only additional parts on top of basic gender

I've been trying to salvage an incredibly slow running save file of a 12+ year old colony for a very long time. Slow as in changing speeds doesnt do anything because the game is struggling to run at 1x speed. Looks like its around 0.5x speed usually, it will hop up in to 3x speed and run quickly for a few seconds and then chug back down to 0.5x struggle. Using 85-90% of my computer power to run rimworld here. Debug log doesn't show any obvious changes that appear when the slowdown starts and stops. Maybe a memory leak? Both performance boosting mod and rocket man mod at max settings didn't seem to affect it at all.

 

I just tried the Save Game Shrinker mod. I systematically went though the things that could be cleaned up and shaved a few mb off the file but didnt see any performance change until the clean mothballed pawns option. I dont know what mothballed world pawns means but it just made my save file go from 135 mb to 27 mb, and the game is running beautifully. Probably broke something but ive sank so many hours in to trying to figure it out that at this point its worth it.

 

1. Id love for someone to tell me what they think "Mothballed Pawns" might mean so I can track down what I probably broke

2. If it turns out I didn't break anything I would like to strongly recommend the mod Save File Shrinker to anyone having performance issues and maybe it will help your game run wildly faster and smoother, like mine. 

 

Edit: Several missing portraits in the partner list of the sexperience history window is the only noticeable change.

pawns that leave the map (raiders, traders, visitors...) are being saved but not simulated i.e mothballed

the greatest save killer was and always will be to remove mods from an active game

these background pawns are being deleted by said safe cleaner

I have a 55 year old colony with 320 mods.

With around 40 pawns the game runs at ~140tps which i find acceptable given the circumstances.

 

I tend to clean up the savefile manualy with Notepad+.

It takes a while but its not uncommon to reduce the size of the file by 70%.

 

I do not know how much impact that has on the performance itself but since i tend to save every minute or two

having the savegame be 25mb instead of 120 is quite nice.

 

There is alot of crap in the saves that is completely useless for the actualy game, like full combat logs. 700k lines in the text file.

It seems that the 1.5 version of Kijin MOD doesn't work with RJW, or isn't compatible with some of the things in RJW.
As soon as I use Kijin I have the problem of having only one town per power.
Is it because of that Female BB body compatibility issue?

With just required mods and all DLC, I'm noticing that pregnancies aren't respecting the Fertility stat of pawns with higher fertility than their partner. If both pawns have 100% fertility, there's no issue, but if, for example, pregnancy has a 20% of occurring and a male pawn under the effects of a fertpill has vaginal sex with a female pawn with the Infertile quirk, the log states there was a 5% chance of pregnancy occurring rather than the expected 25% chance.

 

If this is working exactly as intended, then no issue (obviously), but it does mean that my Anomaly-themed void-born demon-adjacent xenotype that is supposed to be able to churn out new copies of itself via human reproduction is having a much harder time conceiving than I initially anticipated. :( I guess I could temporarily jury-rig a "fix" for myself where any damage dealt by the pawn's physical attacks inflict fertpill headiff, but that's gonna take me some time lol. No easy fixes for me!
