With RimJobworld 5.5.0+ expect a LOT of submods being broken until they are updated, automatic update tools dont care and will not tell you this

Using rjw 5.4.1 and genes 2.2

Going through my modlist and deleting chunks until it works. Got it working. Unfortunately I need to wait 5-10 minutes for game to load every change I make to the modlist. Very slow process.

Narrowed the problem down to sexperience one of my favorite submods. Feels bad.

I did read your post, and i understood the mod is broken, i was just asking if anyone had a temporary fix for my issue or if there was any news on when this would be resolved. But thank you for taking the time to respond, i know it is a lot of work to maintain something like this and i appreciate the work you have done.

i am using RJW menstruation (and a couple of others) but as long as i have menstruation enabled, nobody will do any lewd acts and "forcing" masturbation or sex starts the first frame and then instantly stops the act and the log shows this:

when i remove menstruation, everything instantly works again. its the version from the RJW main post with the version for 1.5

Menstruation hasn't been updated for RJW 5.5.0 yet

Ok so im running into a issue that when i have the mod Rimjobworld enabled im unable to get any menus to open up with a right click of a game object. I had disabled every possible mod and one by one enabled them and as soon as i enable just the Rimjobworld mod the issues starts. Do note that this issues happens even without the animation mod enabled.

Having this exact issue, even the error is mostly completely the same (with different npc name ofc), so it's safe to assume something got messed with the latest update of RJW, but now that it's known, hopefully an amazing modder can fix it, here's the error from me, there are some additional stuff at the bottom of it, but yeah, mostly same as above:

How much work do you expect him to put in for you?

 

Personaly i would not bother having any list at all, let alone one thats resonably uptodate.

People can just use a folder full of bookmarks.

sucks that i have a full time+ job, I do what I can, modders aren't exactly putting everything in a neat list for me to just copy all necessary information from, quite the opposite

I try to make a modpage Id personally like to see for any major framework mod for any game

Yes, everything you see on the list was done by volunteers for free and is distributed for free so people shouldnt take anything for granted, it could be over any day if enough people who do work on this stuff loose interest

I apologize for the late reply, but I dont think this is right.

 

There are only 2 settings in the mod: one is called Enable animal-on-animal, which, according to the description which shows up when you hover over the settings is only for the wild animals (my problem is with the domesticated ones), the other is the anble animal pregnancies which according to the similar description is for using rjw for animal pregnancies. What's more concerning, since im not a zoophile, i didnt touch animal related settings, and both of those were off by default. 

 

So does that mean that default RJW settings disable animal husbandry? 

 

Even more concerning are the aforementioned animal on animal sexual acts that keep showing in the game. Shouldn't they, you know, also be disabled by default? Or at least there should be a settings to disable them?

 

All in all im still unsure if the animals not breeding and animals having anal and oral sex with each other is a bug or a mandated feature by the developer. I've tried searching the thread and i've noticed a couple similar less detailed reports about animals barely breeding for example. If a developer could respond/clarify what's going on that would be great. For now i think im just gonna start a new campaign without RJW

im using RJW 5.4 (due to submod compatibility) and a whooole bunch of submods on here that are ready for 1.5 but when i enable sexperience then the game is unable to create factions on the worldmap (or in running saves when a mod tries to add them). as soon as i disable it it works again. not sure if sexperience is incompatible with 5.4 as i have no clue how to check that but on page 457 two others had the same issue and the only clue i got from them was that it might be genes but those seem to work fine for me.

I am running into an interesting issue where pawns can't have sex but animals can. How would I go about pulling the logs to begin finding out which of my many mods is causing the issue?

 

EDIT: It is now working, seems like the casual sex hookup wasn't working, or maybe the animal as aggressor wasn't working, or maybe that specific animal mod wasn't happy. Whatever it was is good now and was probably a mod conflict in the first place.

 

Edit 2: Wait, it looks like just male (human, human-like?) pawns can't have sex with anyone.

 

Edit 3: I have it narrowed down to one of the animation packs, now I just need to find out which one.

Dont use 1.4 animations with 1.5 animation framework

Right now Rjw genes has a world generation issue, which in turn messes up a bunch of others that rely on it. I am still hunting sown others and have found menstruation is also breaking the game. Rjw extra race patch seems to also be messing up the operations tab. It's a hot mess right now. I have probably spent the last 8 hours sorting through RJW mods alone.

Ive done a bunch of different mod setups but even if I use just this mod by itself it doesnt do anything I dont see it in settings or in gameplay

If its yellow and has unsupported version you double nested the mod

With RimJobworld 5.5.0+ expect a LOT of submods being broken until they are updated, automatic update tools dont care and will not tell you this

Also compatibility updates are usually experimental andmay or may not work

well like i said then my question is why my animals are not breeding, even if all of that weird stuff like cows doing oral sex to each other is enforced by the devs, like you've said this mod isn't supposed to kill off animal husbandry, so what could be causing my animals to not procreate at all? I've had chickens for example for about 5 years now, i havent seen a fertilized egg once, and no my pawns arent eating them. i have horses and muffalos too, none are breeding or getting pregnant, and i havent touched any animal-related settings either nor do i have any other mods that could have possibly feasibly impacted animal breeding

1. i have the animation addon with the sextra animations, basic animations and ultimate animations and i tried a couple different orders but more often than not, it will just play the same animation, no matter what position i chose. in some orders it sometimes uses the right animation but especially when automatically triggering sex it is the same animation every time. when i pause i see the first frame of the right animation and when i unpause again it defaults back to the standard one. when it gets auto triggered i also get an error message that might (or might not) be related:

2. i had some fps / tps issues (that i was unable to pinpoint so i started a new game with no issues) and when looking through dubs performance analyzer i noticed that the job giver wouldnt show anything and then an error pops up for the stripper pole mod:

i checked the mod page for older versions in case its for 5.5 and not 5.4 and this is creating the error but i was unable to find any, just the master branch. when i try to let my pawn strip she goes to the pole, gets naked and hearts appear but no animation or anything.

 

3. when i disable the stripper pole mod i still cant open the job giver and instead get pretty much the exact same error message but with rjwex instead (so rimjobworld extension probably). same issue with finding older versions in case its not for 5.4.
