Do you mean "EdB Prepare Carefully"? It wasn't "made incompatible", it now just lets you know you shouldn't use these two mods together.

That mod causes issues when you use it and those issues persist in the background even after disabling the mod.

"Character Editor" has the same features and more, without breaking things.

something is wrong. I have some awesome new genitals to attach to my colonists but there is no option to attach them. Also for some reason all genitals have a size modifier of 0.75 saying the size of the original owner was 0.75 regardless of what it actually is. is this because of the race support rjw mod?

no it wasn't. there was always issues with it that may not have been very noticable to somebody who barely scratched the surface of either or both mods. The two mods have the same amount of "compatibility" that it did before, but the maker simply made a note that they are incompatible so feel free to continue to use them at your own risk

its easier to flag mod as incompatible than to explain every other week to every motherfu... user why their perfectly working game, without any issues, has bugged pawns, no sex happening, sex need stuck at 50%, asexual pawns, randomly changing parts sizes, 

 

now, if there only was a way to explain idio....users why their designators box is empty and why they cant designate prisoners for rape, but that would need complex skills like reading and using mouse to find mod settings (omg there is such thing!) and changing settings

 

at least there fewer people who cant extract mod into correct folder

Random raping in its current implementation is half-assed. The pawn is not actively looking for vulnerable targets and are instead doing a sad wander, hoping they walk into a compatible pawn. Additionally, the post-break message states the pawn has fulfilled their raping need, even if they didn't manage to rape a single pawn.

 

Their wandering around is a complete waste of time as they don't even get a Catharsis buff after the break. Currently I just have to disable the rapist trait entirely. If someone knows how to add the Catharsis buff after the raping break ends, I'd love to know.

My portraits do no longer get updated, when a pawn puts on clothes after masturbation. Seems to be only after masturbation. Pawn stays naked in portrait, doesn't matter what portrait mods I have active. Can enforce a refresh by changing clothes manually.

The Rimnude error about nyaron is just the patch was written without proper checks and is alerting you the patch could not be done.

It is harmless and to suppress it either load nyaron or erase the nyaron patch.

 

As for the LicentiaLabs one that is an error that is logged simply because it detected Humanoid Alien Races.

It is not harmful and if you had any alien race loaded with the <recipe> node available it will disappear.

That patch is trying to add the fix prolapse error to all races rather than certain races (it is a black list system rather than white list system but it found nothing to patch).

Thanks for confirming my suspicion that I am wasting my time with this RJW stuff. I had modlists of several hundred mods in the past and not one of their creators would release something that knowingly throws "harmless exceptions".

Well actually most race mods did but the framework suppressed those.

Also slot of people use a success always tag which hides the errors. 

Just because you dont see it doesnt mean it isnt there.

 

The Nyaron one is a 3rd party submission.

The LicentiaLabs one could have been made to not show the error but then how do you know if it works. And it should disappear as soon as you add one of the many alien races, there are very few that dont have a recipe node.

 

Also both your errors from before were the game saying this patch could not be done and nothing else.

Portraits by default update after a certain amount if ticks with a few force update methods one of which you found.

If they updated every tick your performance would be terrible and slow as a snail very quickly.

Thx, I thought they just forgot to emit an event that would trigger the update of the portrait.

 

And when I think about it:

the undressing caused by RJW causes the portrait to update instantly, but the dressing up after that does not, isn't this inconsistent behavior strange?

I'm having this problem where the 'Sex Need' bar won't fill after a sexual act, for neither of the participants. They sort of get stuck in a loop of *quickies* unless I intervene since they never seems to be satisfied (even then, give it 30 seconds and they are back at it). When I start a new colony all the pawns start with a moderately filled 'Sex Need' bar that slowly decay depending on my settings (set at 50% decay rate), however, it won't ever refill. None of them had any charms or sexual traits.

There was an instance though where a random raider got overrun by insects in a cave, and subsequently got cocooned and diddled. This guy's 'Sex need's bar got capped at 99% but never decayed. Not sure if that's a feature or not but it struck me as odd.

Everything else seems to be in order, but my colonists are kind of useless as they prefer quickies instead of eating and constructing etc. I tried to tick off the quickies option, but instead they get semi-stuck with lovin' instead, the severity is milder and sort of restricted to the nightly activities, but still annoying as no one gets proper sleep. 

I got a lot of mods, so i'm not too sure which one is causing it since I suspect there's a conflict, though not a mod listed in the incompatible mods list in FAQ (except Smart Medicine, the incompatibility of which is restricted to the fertility bar being slightly pushed out of frame in the UI, but I'm fine with that). 
Below I've tagged my Hugslib log if anyone's willing to check it out. I tried to sort the mods, sort of, but any help resolving this would be appreciated :)

;EDIT; Reading through the comments I am lead to believe that this might have to do with CnP and RJW, as others have stated that they also suffered from this problem. Gonna check it up some more.

Ok, I'm doing something wrong, just can't figure out what. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

 

My pawns refuse to have sex with animals, plain and simple. I checked the "bestiality" checkbox, the pawns have respective traits and bodyparts, but instead of having sex with creatures they just masturbate as soon as the sex need hits the necessary treshold. It's strange because hero mode/debug sexing designation works just fine. Pawns just choose masturbation over bestiality, be it wildlife or domesticated animals.

 

Any thoughts or ideas? Did someone encounter the same bug? Regular pawn sex fires normally, it's just the bestiality that (kind of) doesn't work.

 

UPD: tried it without any mods besides RJW, played around with mod settings - bestiality still doesn't work.

Nope, pawns don't initiate sex with any creatures ranging from dogs to spelopedes, no matter their wildness. Manual designation still works.

To follow up, I'm adding a HugsLib log, even though I'm not sure it'll help my situation. For context, this is a log from a fresh game with only RJW enabled.

I'm having an issue where there is no option to "have sex" with animal, only "rape"... it only seems to be like this on a specific save file. Is there a way for me to "fix" the save file or do I have to start over? I got a REALLY good map roll that I don't want to just disgard
