lockeslylcrit Posted August 20, 2020 Author Posted August 20, 2020 1.9.4 19AUG20 Enhancements: Hunting Accident is disabled if the Dungeon Master mod is detected.
Anonymous Posted August 21, 2020 Posted August 21, 2020 Bug report: The "No Special NPCs" toggle isn't working at all.
ImNotOneToJudge Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 I haven't checked in on this thread for a while and as such i was wondering with CK3 on the horizon has development of further content of this mod been finished with only bug fixes left?

nobodytosee Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 I might get this fixed by the time anyone reads this, but I have a problem where my mods are checked in the launcher.... Problem is, it isn't working in the game... Anyone know what's going on? ANY help would be great! Please and thank you!

Just because CK3 is coming out doesn't mean that LF is feature complete.
lockeslylcrit Posted August 23, 2020 Author Posted August 23, 2020 1.10.0 23AUG20 New Additions: Added a popup window on game start explaining that you've installed LF, along with a few tidbits about the mod. Enhancements: Removed Raen/Xaela portraits from DWSE until I find better portraits I am satisfied with. Removed ghosts entirely. They were just a huge pain when it comes to cross-mod compatibility. Options Menu will now appear on game start, and Racial Choice will now appear one day later.
db098 Posted August 23, 2020 Posted August 23, 2020 does anybody know if this works with rise to power mod

lockeslylcrit Posted August 23, 2020 Author Posted August 23, 2020 Also, because I'm a fucking idiot and forgot to include it in the changelog... New Additions: Commanders will now be able to level up based on how many major battles they win.
BB520 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Idk if this has been asked so i apologize if it is a "Repetitive" question. Do the developers have any interest in moving over to Crusader Kings lll or is Luxuria Fantasia staying / ending with Ck2. Again, I apologize if this is repetitive i just did not see any other questions relating to it when i skimmed the history.
db098 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 seems to work pretty good with rise to power from my testing

LordKurama01 Posted August 26, 2020 Posted August 26, 2020 Not sure if this is has been asked about before I tried to search for it but didn't come up with any results. I noticed that when I play a female ruler and use the initiate sex mechanic on my consort that the father of the resulting child is credited as the man I married rather than the consort, also the kid(s) don't spawn with the child_of_consort trait. I was wondering if this was an intended mechanic, and if it is, then is there something I can change on my end to make them have the right parents? Separately I noticed that I'm getting two opening menus on startup, the second doesn't do anything just thought it was weird. I installed the new update by deleting the old folder but maybe it missed something?

You're using a Ruler Designer character, and because Paradox hasn't fixed that DLC in years, both you and the ruler you replaced are both considered the player on the first day. That's why you get two popup events. Don't worry, everything goes back to normal on day 2. 2
earthshaker34 Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 Do I get this mod or Dark world reborn? Does this mod replace it? or is it just another standalone mod? would it be better to get both or would it cause to just crash and burn? ;/

When the Luxuria Fantasia option menu comes up on start you can tell it to use one set of traits or both, IE use only Dark World Reborn traits or use Luxuria Fantasia and DWR traits.
Xaradas Posted August 30, 2020 Posted August 30, 2020 I have noticed that for some reason when my player character is of some fantasy LF race it causes all NPCs I get from native game events (like NPCs from recruit noble decision, etc.) to have that race even if my player character doesn't have the culture of said race and merely has the trait and portrait of that race. On top of that it also causes some non-unique NPCs of different fantasy races to also have the same racial trait as the player and the portrait for that race as well. This can cause some really weird things like random event spawned orc also being an elf (if the player is elf) at the same time and having Elven portrait which is pretty weird from lore perspective. It really breaks my immersion. If I rule a kingdom of some culture and my player character also has same culture I should still be mostly getting NPCs of said culture and associated race (or only the race they are getting from event in question with no extra race on top of that one) and not just characters of the same race as I am. I would like to play solitary fantasy race ruler, but this is making it really annoying, since I can't use any of the decisions that gives me courtiers and I have to refuse all event spawned non-unique NPCs. This didn't happen in the past. It's been a while since I played fantasy-type character so I'm not entirely sure when it started to happen. At first I thought it was some weird interaction between LF and another mod, but I just tried to test playing with only LF and it still happens. Is there some option to disable this behavior? I tried to look through option at the start of the game and in LF in-game menu and I didn't find anything, but maybe I'm missing it somewhere. And if not which configuration file in the mod should I change to stop this from happening?

lockeslylcrit Posted August 31, 2020 Author Posted August 31, 2020 1.10.1 31AUG20 Enhancements: Joseph nerfed. Bug Fixes: Revamped the Random Ruler Challenge to be less buggy. Fixed most events that relied on is_save_game. Minor text fixes. 2
seeker0003 Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 While this is undoubtedly way, way too early a question, but is there any consideration being made to eventually port/make a version of this for CKIII?

You'll have to wait till lockeslylcrit can take a look at the CK3 mechanics. Based on what I've seen so far, Paradox has kept it's whole modding friendly deal and even improved upon it so hopefully we'll see something quick assuming lockeslylcrit wants to actually port their mod over.
veedanya Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Sorry if this is has been asked before or is a dumb question, but what's the relation between Luxuria Fantasia and Dark World Reborn? I've noticed there's a lot of overlapping features between the two (event system for creating futas, rudimentary slavery system, fantasy races implementation, etc). Is LF intended to replace DWR entirely as the basis for other mods? Or is it intended to be a supplement, replacing older systems with new ones and running on top of DWR? Are the two inherently incompatible running together due to the system overlaps?
NekroShapiroPhiladelphia Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 From what ive tested, they CAN function together, and LF is a sub-mod of DWR, the author of LF says something of the sort in the author credits. DWR aims to bring fantasy into the historical setting, whereas LF goes farther into the fantasy aspect and away from the historical setting (This is the conclusion i have from my time playing both mods, don't shoot the messenger plz!).
