I don't have match maker installed. even standing by the creatures they show no interest  , 2 i did all of that shit before still does nothing. idk were the papyrus is. and as for the mod it self 401 works for me now 406, Idk what you mean slac, installed only the need files on the main page.

If you are not able to start a sex scene with any other mod then the issue may be with SexLab.

 

How to enable Papyrus logging and find the logs.

 

SLAC = SexLab Aroused Creatures (usually shortened to AC in this thread here).

I'm having exactly the same issue, I've been trying to look up solutions online but can't find any that work. All my human animations work fine it's only the creature ones that don't.

Reset the Aroused Creatures configuration to default by going to Aroused Creatures MCM > Profiles and load the Default Setting Profile.

 

Beyond that I will need to see a Papyrus log for a game in which the issue is seen (make sure the Debug option is enabled in Aroused Creatures MCM > General Settings).

Make sure you have FNIS Creature Pack installed.

 

Run Generate FNIS for Users with the HKX Compatibility patch enabled. Deal with any warnings or errors (they are all important!).

 

Use SexLab MCM > Rebuild & Clean > Clean System and follow the instructions in the popups. You will need to reconfigure SexLab afterwards and re-register your SLAL animations.

Then Papyrus logging has not been enabled in the INI. Follow this link and use the instructions to make the necessary changes to your INI or use BethINI to do it.

Make sure you are updating the correct INI. If you are using MO2 with profile-specific INIs then they will be stored in the MO2 profile folder. If you have edited the INI manually then double check the syntax.

Nexus Mod Manager installation is not supported due to its unreliability. Switching from NMM to MO2 means starting over from scratch with a clean install of Skyrim. This goes far beyond support for Aroused Creatures I'm afraid.

Two questions 

 

a. Can I setup to be NPC only

B. Does this work with creature tame mods basically a mod that let me take various creatures outside of horses and canines because I'm playing a dominant male slaver that uses pets for training and general amusement like my own personal troll or even gaint

A: Yes, the PC can be excluded from automatic engagements. By default a male PC and NPCs are excluded anyway.

 

B: Yes. Typically it will work with any creature that has an enabled SexLab animation and is non-hostile to their intended partner (won't attack/threaten/flee from them on sight). You can also use dialogue options for NPCs to instruct them to engage selected creatures or vice versa.

Hi,

I have a little question. I love this mod and also bondage gear. But when my char is in full gear and this mod triggers it plays the animation for the creature and the char swtiches to a solo animation. What makes sense.

However I would like to make a little custom patch which will unquip some bondage gear before the animation starts. (What does not make any sense, I am well aware of that fact)

 

Since I am not familiar with the source yet, I would really appreciate if someone could give me a hint where to place my few lines of code.

I think you'll need to take a look at Devious Devices Integration which is most likely responsible for the animation overrides. Aroused Creatures itself only selects animations based on race, gender and consent.

This might be the dumbest question on here, but how do I raise the arousal level of animals? I keep finding ones with 0 arousal. The only time I've managed to get the arousal level higher than 0 was with the key that initializes arousal. The arousal and pursuit states work, they just don't happen. Is it suppose to be rare? Or is there a way to increase the frequency of horny critters? Thanks ahead of time!

By default SexLab Aroused only calculates nearby actors' arousal levels once every fifteen minutes. You can reconfigure this to check every fifteen seconds instead.

 

If you are still seeing issues with arousal not increasing automatically over time then it may be a bug in SLA. One bug I've come across myself was blocking of all arousal increases because SLA thought there was an active SexLab animation even though none were running. This can usually be seen in the papyrus log.

You'll find the SexLab thread initialised in the StartCreatureSex() function in slac_Utility.psc around line 2100. The first 300 lines in that function are basically checking if an animation should happen at all and then building a list of suitable animations.
