If you have Better Exception installed, that's your lag source. AEP has a bunch of smaller (non-game-breaking) errors, but it still makes Better Exceptions go berserk and repeatedly scan the entire mod directory. I pulled BE, and the lag totally went away.

the career works fine over all but i cant seem to find the "create a channel" tab on the computer to progress in the career
i have AWE installed as well, is that conflicting with it?

This mod is two years old for a old version, if you have the most updated version, chances are, this mod no longer works.  Just give up on any mods that are older than a year without updates.

When I try to hire a co-worker, this list of all the buffs in the game pops up. I choose one of them and the buff will be added to me.

This happens when you try to shoot a film at an owned porn studio, right? That part of the mod is pretty much broken by now, as far as I can tell, so don't bother with it. Over a year without a mod update has taken its toll on some of the features, but core parts like the rabbit hole job and all the cam show stuff still work.

This Mod and Modder need reporting to EA and this site and taken down if they aren't going to maintain it but still have it on charge on Patreon.

@SpookyDjinn this is a mod...ea has nothing to do with mods...unless it's the severely disturbing ones. it hasn't been updated in a few YEARS, many people have repeated that it is broken. People still decide to use it lol Don't use mod that haven't been updated in YEARS!

I think they ment bc of the rules/ToS Sims have about mods/CC, that they must become free/public access after a few months, incl updates.

 

They have to keep the public release updated as well. Locking mods and CC behind paywalls only and never release it to public is against sims/ea. This is bc modders/CC-creators isn't the makers/owners of the sims franchise. They can make money on their mods/CC, but they also have to make their mods/CC available for anyone who owns the game. 

 

So if they are still charging money to unlock their mods on Patreon, but refuse to update the public version, they are breaking the rules/ToS of Sims.

 

There is sadly a big problem with CC-creators who lock their stuffs behind paywalls or use weird ad-sites to make money of sims recolours etc.

Well, at list the author came back to MTS and updated two mods in MTS from author.

AEP Mod is now broken for years and it would need constant maintaining it is unreal to stick with it even it was a real good mod.

However there is a Replacement avavible Try the AWE mod instead it offers acutally everthing that AEP offered and much more.

It's similar but they don't cover the same functionalities.

 

Cons :

- Photoshoot are rabbithole.

- No "video" recording

- No award ceremony

 

Pro:

- They have an active porn career at level 5 (before it's a rabbithole)

- A porn star can have a Fan club (don't know how it works).

Easiest solution, don't use this mod unless there is an update. Why try taking away a semi broken mod that still works slightly from people that don't mind it isn't fully functional. Stay in your lane kid.

btw, Personal Video Studio doesn't work with Basemental's Venue List, since they didn't include it. In Sims 4 Studio, open up Basemental's Venue List.package and add in:

I didn't DM them about it, because I'm shy, but yeah, this'll work. 

 

Using the Vivux 9000 camera to record pornos, purchasing a Personal Studio, hiring actors and camera operators, those all work well. I dunno about other features, as I simply updated the XMLs to work with the game version I was using; I did not change/add-in any new features, as it's not my mod.

 

I didn't change any of the Python code, either. Nothing seemed wrong with the code, but, I admit I didn't test every single feature of the mod, as I kind of just play the game and forget that I'm actually testing. Whoops, sorry if anything is still broken. Please let me know if anything is broken, I'll have a look again and try to fix it.

Can you please describe how the game with this mod will behave if I have "Get to Work", but don't have "City Living" and "Get Famous"? What will I be unable to do compared to people who have all 3 of these packs? I'm getting that "Last Exceptions" message, but I can live with that, I am curious about gameplay itself.
