aep AEP_Career_4.8.3 - Bug Update- December 4, 2025

I'm not sure if this is  an AEP bug or a WW bug since both have been iffy since the new patch

 

When I went to the awards night nobody else showed up, but the event was definitely running and I could click "watch" on the microphone, but aside from the venue NPC sims like the bartender and bouncer, there was nobody. I also couldn't leave the lot, it made my game force quit back to the EA app.

When are you going to update AEP Pornography whereas it's compatible with Growing Together?? IT IS BROKEN

The creator announced on their patreon that they are currently updating all of their mods, including this one. They have been sick and dealing with RL, so please give them some grace while we wait for an update.

I have a miss understanding. I think, is not a bug, juste me. The job ask me to "achieve Level 4 acting Skill" my problem is here, I'm level 4 in this skill and I have nothing.

Yeah that's pretty normal if you have more than one sim in a household to miss requirements towards a promotion. I wouldn't worry, it sucks, but it just means you'll work a little longer at that level before being promoted. I've seen this happen a lot with this mod, especially when more than one sim in a household are in the AEP career.

I figured as much (Hate it when that happens ?).  In the meantime, I'll just consider ALL AEP mods to be broken (Even if it turns out they're not) & remove them (Scarlet's Realm already reports AEP Pornograhy as being broken as you can see in the screenshot above) so that my game displays properly once again as I've checked & updated everything else

What happened to the AEP Pornography Mod? I havent played in a while and started updating my outdated mods and now I cant find AEP Pornography to update it. All searches lead to this one. Has it been completely replaced by this one?

I've been looking for an update to but can't find it. have had to pull AEP Mod out causing too many LE reports. good luck in finding an updated version for the growing together update.

You're not going to have the option if you're NOT RECORDING as (Like with all things IRL) you can't stop something that hasn't begun  lol

Same problem for me... I click on start recording - Then when you go back to end it - the only option is still " start recording" It's been like that for months....Probably a conflicting mod somewhere...

From my experience, that sort of issue clears itself up when reloading after exiting the game, but it could be as you say. I kind of doubt it, like unless its a mod that has specifically to do with recording functionality.

 

It's more likely a conflict in memory, relating to either localthumbcache or spotlight_.package in the cachestr folder. Also, I find deleting the text document files (such as wickedwhims info log) that script mods produce reduces said possibility of conflicts regarding the possibility of mods you've deleted and may be still cached somewhere in a text file.

 

But if you've already done this, then I have no idea and it is likely a mod you have that conflicts with it.

I would MAKE SURE the recording has ACTUALLY STARTED !!  It should say STOP RECORDING (But of course you don't want to click on that if you want continue recording or the recording WILL be stopped & you WILL see START RECORDING instead)

Any console commands to get past a stuck promotion? I need level 2 of media production but it's already at 5 so the promotion requirement won't update and is stuck at 0/2.

Unfortunately, this mod is broken for the most recent version of Sims4.  However, when others have had your problem, it can usually be bypassed by not following your sim to work for a day when you feel you have worked enough to get a promotion other than the skill level you've mentioned (or any skill needed but not recognized).

Also it has been over a month since the author said "give me a couple days, please" and unfortunately the game had been updated multiple times since then.

Can we expect the update to be compatible with the most recent game version?

While no mention of updating AdultEntertainmentProductions (AEP) has been made, I feel certain that it will soon be updated for patreons with the public version here a few days to a week later.  RedAppleNet has been updated on Patreon.  Last time, AEP was the last to be updated, so patience is the watchword.

Even patreons haven't received any update on AEP yet, right?
