aep AEP_Career_4.8.3 - Bug Update- December 4, 2025

So I downloaded the mod for the first time. Had my sim join the career and got the start a channel task but I cant find where to start the channel. I looked on the computer and there is no option.

The older version worked fine

Working fine now, had to rezip the files without the AEP folder. Unfortunately using Vortex for mods. I won't make the same mistake for Sims 5. 

 

Just move the files out of the AEP-Folder.

I want to say if ksuihuh could make this compatible with Picture Stories it would be fantastic. Apperantly it's editing the same tuning file or something or rather.

My saves become corrupted if I have this Mod active at the same time as the Jan 3rd version of Wicked Whims.

 

It won't occur until a sim is given the AEP job, creates a channel, and then does a stream. After that the Sim's likes and dislikes vanish, and attempts to go to the world map give me a black screen while sims are still moveing around underneath (I can tell because chat bubbles pop up over the black screen).

 

So far, even reverting to a save made BEFORE installing this mod fails. The only solution has been to delete that sim - even a fresh copy of the sim from the gallery imports corrupted.

 

While I have no specific error blaming this mod - I've only had this issue with this mod installed. Deleting the mod and the corrupted sim lets my save continue working.

Hey. Just wondering if there is any chance that the personal studio feature at some point may become an active career like APPLENET? It just would be cool if sims could just work in the industry, but not themselves own the studio and do challenges a bit like the acting career.

 

Don't get me wrong, the existing features are already great, just for roleplaying purposes I would find it sweet if that feature were embedded more into the career aspect.

Hi, just wanted to point out that in my game this mod conflicted with adeepindigo's More Useful EA Lot Traits. All the strings from AEP were missing and only appeared after I removed adeepindigo's mod (I did the 50/50 method). Just in case this happens with someone else.

type in 3000 is easier way to find the camera and the editing station will be in same area just scroll down a little

Can somebody please tell me how exactly Vivuxs 3000 works?

For example, I start recording with an active sim, I put a bed infront of the camera, I choose wicked options for the bed. I stop actions, stop the recording, transfer it to station, edit and upload...

 

But what I like to know is, does it matter where the camera is facing?

Is there a range limit?

Does it matter what actions or how long I do the actions?

What is the recording time limit?

Do the animations, length or angle affect quality?

I'm going to have my Sims go for the Starlight Venus Award by....

 

1). Moving them into lots SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED to be Personal Video stations (Yes I have the lot type & I'll add the Live In Business lot trait too if needed)

 

2). Have them get AEP.com accounts (Preferrably BOTH Joint AND Individually if possible)

 

3). Equip them with Streaming Drones in their Inventory so they can record video for later upload (With Sims who have Custom Careers where you can't join them on the job, this will come in handy if they fuck WHILE ON the job  ) 

 

4). Track what others are saying by checking their feeds as one would with High School Years

 

FOR THE BIG NIGHT ITSELF - Add the following lot below to Vacuus Green on Del Sol Valley

 

THE LOGIC ?? Simple

 

FOR MY LEGACY SIMS - It's probably THE ONE place where they'll be able to "Rub elbows with the Pros" as it were (I plan to add Pornstars as Unplayed Households once I've confirmed they're employed as Pornstars (Either with AEP or elsewhere))

 

Though for my Legacy Sims, it'll be more like "Amateur Night" instead

 

STRIPPERS - When not in use by AEP for the Awards Ceremony, they'll want to GET A JOB here  lol

 

CRIMINALS  - They'll want to COMMIT CRIMES here (If they don't decide to get on the straight & narrow & get a job here too)

 

PROSTITUTES - They'll be pacing the sidewalk in front of the place looking for Johns (Whom they'll take to the back of the place to fuck (I plan to add Dumpsters & other garbage stuff behind it to give it a "Back Alley" look  .  They'll also likely be out IN FULL FORCE on the big night itself hoping to SNAG A PORNSTAR too  lol

Is there any way to have the played Sims be called to a video studio to shoot a scene? If not, thats definitely something that Ksuihuh should consider adding. If they are still active that is.

Can somebody help me with the production leg of this mod?

 

- I bought an "In a flash studio" hired a photographer but when I select the action "Get erotic photo shoot" the sim says they can not find a path, no matter how or where I place the studio.

- I also placed one of each studio type lots in the world but I never get invitation calls. I even created a sim, bought a video studio but still nothing happening. Do you still get invitations when you are have a career as a superstar or do you have to be a "freelancer"?

- How do I participate in any kind of shooting?

Thank you very much for your work.I played this MOD a year ago, but it still has some problems.I don't know why I can't find a camera to take pictures at home and the cameraman at the studio won't take pictures of me having sex.Could I have MOD conflicts? Or is there any object MOD that hasn't been downloaded?

I have a bug and no solution.
I can take the job in the PC. But after that, nothing in job menu, no work (I have this problem before WW bugs)
