No. You just drag the zip file to the bottom part of vortex. A notice will give you the option to install. Once that's done, another notice (upper left) will give you an option to enable. "CrosshairRefEvents script hang fix" mod should be harmless, and it says it is compatible with both SE and AE. If you do have problem with it then it's with your other mods. 1. Check your Skyrim version (sorry no english screenshot, right click the exe in Explorer): Spoiler If it is 1.6.xxx it means you are on Skyrim AE. (This doesn't mean you have the AE DLC) 2. All mods you download and install must be for your Skyrim version, SE (< 1.6) or AE (> 1.6), including right SKSE version. 3. I disabled my fire wall and active scan in mcafee and used a diferent browser to install them and that got it working for some reason. only seems to be a problem with the Mega downloads
wobblymandolin Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 anyone having issues with creatures participating in rapes due to cursed loot combat surrender? i know that is not the focus of this mod, but settings exist to enable it and i have turned those on and i believe i have all requirements met and settings on for creature animations, but nothing happens after a creature defeats me in combat, i surrender the creature becomes non-hostile and i cannot control my character for a little bit. then i regain control and creatures are hostile again. please help.

Then I get the step to continue on, when I Get to the passage that is collapsed, I am able to use the to get through, but the quest does not progress. If I continue further towards the exit near the end, I get a message that says to not use commands to cheat, and I am sent back to where you first enter Helgen keep. I looked but could not find any info about the quest online. The quest step that I get stuck on is 40 if that helps.

Are you able to have creature animations play from other sources? Do you have animal animations turned on in sexlab animation setting? Are you getting any debug messages when an animation doesn't play?

The quest step that I get stuck on is 40 if that helps. grab the lal patch from the troubleshooting post or walk around to the exit and go in that way to pick up ralof or hadvar. This is a LAL issue, since it's doing the anti cheat teleport, not DCL. the dcl quest progression is tied to the note found in the spider room. you need to read it to update the quest. 1

Do you have the public whore mod? if so try updating it. If not, try disabling your other mods until you find the conflict.

Cursed Loot has been automatically disabled." error, this check may be misleading if you don't have any child-related mods installed. I took a look at the source and it also checks for if sexlab can animate the player character, and if not, this check will fail. I spent a few hours figuring this one out but my mistake was that I had the sexlab framework installed above papyrusUtil, but the SL Vr patch + hotfix installed after it in the load order which was causing issues with sexlab. The solution is to simply have your load order as follows: SexLab SL VR patch SL VR hotfix Papyrus

Sexlab DD DCL Put Sexlab Survival somewhere after Sexlab. It shouldn't conflict with DD or DCL other than where it's features overlap with DCL (I seem to recall some overlap. It's had to find something SLS doesn't conflict with). But that's managed more by setting up the mods in the MCMs. You'd probably be better off upgrading to DD 5.2. There were multiple improvements made to the scripting regarding removal functions.

Don't put long lists like the post below this in the post. Put them in a spoiler so they don't make it unreasonably large. Some things that shouldn't logically conflict do conflict. You'll need to troubleshoot the hard way and remove everything except DD and DCL. Make sure it works with only those mods and their requirements, then add your mods back in one at a time until you find where things break. As an example of what i mean, did you know ZAZ, a framework like DD, breaks rabbit deaths so they're perpetually running when they die? Zaz has nothing to do with rabbits, but it breaks them anyway. So just because you think nothing is interfering with guard dialogs doesn't mean it's not happening. Also make sure you are starting a new game when you test. Sometimes it's not the mod that's broken, but something in your save.

HSH training is running in all three locations. Devious Contraptions are only placed in the Riverwood location Had left the game running unattended for a while so as to let HSH get on with some training while I did RL stuff. On return, log shows that after about 7 hrs or so, the game had crashed. 29K log file full of the errors shown below The prior log files contained the same problem, but I never seem to have played long enough to crash it ? If anyone has any ideas, fine, be glad to hear, and TIA. shillk Posted March 12, 2023 Posted March 12, 2023 This seems to break zaz animation pack (tested with both ZaZ Animation Pack+ CBBE HDT V.8.0+SE2023.7z and ZAZ 7.0SE-Rev1.7z) in the way that when equipped with an item from ZaZ pack (eg. zbf wrist dull), the binding animation only hold for 5-20 sec and then released. The mechanism still holds, you are still unable to attack for example, but the bounded animation is cancelled.

There's a script fix, but it's for device hider log spam. I doubt it will fix this, but might be worth tossing in anyway if you don't have it. Fwiw, i don't see that particular error in my log, but I haven't done anything yet. I'm in the process of starting a new game and getting things setup right. If it's not normally a problem, it could just be skyrim being skyrim. If you have netscriptframework or crash logger, those would be more useful in troubleshooting a CTD. Papyrus logs are generally useless for CTDs, because the logger crashes with the game and the cause does not get logged.

All interactions with zaz were removed from DD. Best I can say is uncheck the override option in zaz's mcm under sexlab so DD and zaz aren't fighting there. animations can't be completely disabled in DD anymore.
