Are those even real words?" and "[You realize that your gag is impossible to talk through.]" I have changed gag talk frequency and success chance and tried turning them to 100 and 0 and everything between, but gag talk still doesn't work. Also I've read that blacksmiths should be able to help you out of your restraints, but I have never found that option on their dialogue (with or without the gag). Is there possibly another mod that's overriding these or what's happening? You can get a roll of paper, a quill, and some ink and write things out. Blacksmiths won't help with everything. If they're saying things like i don't want to mess with that (or similar, i forget the exact quote) then it's something you need to find another way out of. Complete the quest or find the right key. The dialog should be something like can you help me with this Also, if you've got other devious mods, they might change how a devices is handled - you'd need to make sure DCL equipped it on you and not the other mod.

"[You realize that your gag is impossible to talk through.]" < This comes from Devious Devices and it is not configurable. If you want highest chance to succeed in talking, set DCL gag talk chance to 100% and success chance then also 100%. But yeah still some special devices can override that.
Devious Diana Posted March 27, 2023 Posted March 27, 2023 Hi there, it's been a few years since I modded Skyrim this way and I've run into an issue, I believe caused by this mod. A lot of the restraints equipped to my character appear invisible for me and I have no idea how to fix it. I've built all the items (individually, it was a pain) in Bodyslide and have all the dependancies up to date. I have no idea if I somehow missed anything?

Maybe I need to raise them in priority? They're 250+ rn

I decided to also check for the other sfw mods I have in Bodyslide and they too don't work. So now I feel like it's a Bodyslide issue? Edit: Issue located, had the wrong Bodyslide path selected. Had it set to the game's path, I changed it to the Skyrim Data folder instead and now the "no image" issue is resolved! Edit 2: New issue occurred and I have no clue what I should do to fix it. I know this isn't technically the right topic to post it in but I still hope someone has a solution. When I run FNIS with Sexlab and Devious mods enabled, I receive no errors in FNIS, but when I get ingame, everyone is (partial, 45 degrees) T posing. ZelenEagle2 Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Been having a problem loading animations (at least i think thats what it is) I try doing a solicitation for example and it unequips all gear so im naked, then it just kinda does nothing for a while so i assume its loading, and then I get a black screen with the health, magicka and stamina bars showing at the bottom semi transparent. Beyond that it doesnt actually CTD, it just freezes skyrim completely, do I just need to let it load for a few minutes maybe? I'm pretty sure it's specifically cursed loot as well, I tried a persuasion from S.L.U.T.S and that worked fine, a scene from devious lore also worked fine. When it's cursed loot however Rape? freeze Solicitation? freeze "Can't control your urges"? freeze Any help is appreciated

(either an output folder you created in MO2, or the overwrite folder?) Can you copy your FNIS output here after running it? For bodyslide, there's a short how to in the troubleshooting post. Try getting rid of a slal pack or two and rerun FNIS. If that doesn't work, try with a minimal load order with just DCL and it's requirements on a new game. I honestly like the way it works better than Defeat and other mods like it, with the deal breaking exception that there is no way to stop it from happening against mobs that aren't human. This causes silly things to happen like getting knocked out by a wolf and then turned in for my bounty. It also causes problems with Chain Beasts. What if it were more configurable? And what if there were non-rape related outcomes that could come from it with enemies like undead, falmer, or dwarven machines?

It can usually be resolved by launching skyrim from steam once. You don't need to launch all the way, just getting to the launcher should be enough. That said, it's a benign error and doesn't cause problems nowadays. And elsidia already got you straightened out on the LE mod you had.
