I thought I had kept those items from the end of the quest in a chest somewhere but they disappeared anyway - not sure if they just bugged and I lost them or if they're not meant to stick around, either way I'm not too concerned about it but at this stage I am more curious how I go about finding which listings in SSEEdit correspond to a specific item, because I couldn't find anything that affected rope bindings in the dd/dcl armor addons list. Also, I noticed what I'm assuming is a bug with the Leon quest - you don't lose the piercings at the end of the quest. I think this is already known (and might be carried over from the LE mod), however because the piercings are flagged as quest items or something it interferes with some functions in other devious mods like devious enslavement. Maybe this is just a me problem but would be nice if you didn't have to resort to console commands to remove them to prevent this interference.

Looks like yours should be the better card, so it's doubtful?

It's a new DD 5.1 "feature". I suggest it's because of new DD items database and equip system. If you want not to disappear those items (most of items disappear if those was equipped on NPC or you by scripts), you must reequip that item by yourself manually and remove after it by key or struggle. I test it by Queens Sarah's items and not nest with restrained devices.

While the mechanics have been improved in DD 5.x, I suspect script load will still be a factor on if everything gets removed. they should be removed by the quest at the end, the quest flag just keeps you from removing it using DCL's other methods of removing items.

I install some mods and probably one of it was zaz 7. unfortunately i decide to remove zaz 8+ and can't add it back (i end all DCL main line quest and don;t want start game again), because i suspect this mod removing Rubber doll quest items when start a sex scene and (100% verified) it catastrophically slows down DCL solicitation menu [SEX for keys] - most times dialogue ends by timeout. Now without zaz 8+ i have chance to select next option, but still this part not very fast by comparing with other solicitation menus. At end i with pain in heart remove Simple slavery, zaz 8+. I remove deviously followers continued too, but there was other things: i don't use it and last version don't allow suppress this mod for follower (you always need her pay or remove this function for her forever (what is equal to disable this mod). Because i can't clearly say what can fix NPC and me from fly (zaz8+ or devious follower continued). Or it's bug with RTX 3070)

Still to remove all items at time you need listen all Leon's dialogue without skip and even then you need a little slow down (about 10 sec) dialogue by enter in console. Maybe in DCL 9.0 Kimy hear me and add not generics item removing but by specific name (what is 2 times faster) Will test it. Maybe today as i left only Leon quest and test new randoms event what is added. Also i have tested Dagonwar prison but still not found any new events in there. Still old and annoying prison. Good to made it for first time. But second time and more is still bad. Also i was so unlucky that in first run i don't get the most liked event (showcase for guards) and because was more unhappy with new prison. And yes in prison mine i watch 3 flying NPC - prisoners what work on mine.

DCL 8.5 was based on DD4, which means it does NOT make use of DD's improved device handling code in many places. It should be much, much faster in DCL 9.

There's still one or two reports of things not getting completely removed, no logs though. Could a fallback cleanup be done for quest items if it is? I'll try batch build again tomorrow and see if that fixes it, but I have tried it once. I am using 5.1 and 9.0 so should be no problems there. You're right I was missing a number, its xx1114a0 (that is rope bindings for me? not extreme rope bindings). And I did notice it was very slow to remove all of the devices at the end of the Leon quest, I did reload that save several times right before I completed it because the enslavement seems to get stuck for me a lot and they never got removed though.

Ok fine that's can be good to skip. I test with no skipping dialogue - speed have enough to unequipped most of devices and put on new collar when start next quest. Good! But... no... Obsidian nipple piercings, Obsidian vaginal piercing still stand on. i check papyrus log and seems bra and belt goes off as last and seems function is no call on piercings or it call before remove a bra or belt and failed. I test with start unequipped process and open a console to slows down a dialogue. Still all devices will be unequiped but piercings left on you. Plugs still are left inside, but at lest those can removed. I add papyrus log. I put papyrus log about non remove obsidian piercings a post above. I test it 3 times with different timing and use a console to slow down dialogue.

However i am not running any of the mods known to modify children tags. I am running SL Sexual Fame but have Children Removal disabled. I thought it might be Devious Carriages (also recently installed) but have removed it and still have the issue. Any tips? edit: also had updated Sex;ab Utility Plus, do you think that could be doing it?

Things to make children killable, things to allow you to play as a kid/teen, those could do it. You'll either need to start from just DCL and it's requirements and slowly add mods in until you find it, or post your load order and hope someone recognizes a mod. 1

For scripts, just go to \Scripts\Source or \Source|\Scripts folder and open the .psc files in a text editor like notepad++ (NPP). Plain old notepad or wordpad will work too, but it's a lot more readable in NPP, and the find all in document or in all documents search feature is a godsend at times. No, they aren't readable in xedit. For finding it, you could do "help piercing" or whatever the actual in game inventory name is and get the ID that way, it's usually faster. If the name has spaces, put it in quotes (help "i have spaces"). You can do a real search in xedit with only the form id or the editor id. 'dcur_leon_npiercings' would be part of an editor id you could search. If it can't find it, it will be red instead of green. Without either id, you'd need to do something like this: you can go to the section you want to start with. Where it says filter by name or value, put the keyword you want to search on Click on the left side on the first item Now you can arrow down quickly. when you see something pop up on the right, you can check it to see if it's what you wanted. If there's a better way to search without knowing the formid or editor id, i don't know. No piercing here: Here it is. Every line with piercing in it will show and nothing else. To see the object in it's entirety, just remove your keyword from the 'by value' field now. This is how I search xedit when I ask for what the in game name is. You can see the in game name here is "Obsidian Nipple Piercings" in the formID field on the right. (Not to be confused with the formID on the left. the left can only use the alphanumeric ID, and the in game name is not searchable from the editorID).
