Skyrim Modding Diary - 10 March 2022
Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm really enjoying the current overlap between Star Trek: Picard season 2 and Star Trek: Discovery season 4, even though each week of this we get means one week some time in the future where we won't get a new episode, since across the franchise I believe we're getting 51 episodes this year. Still, I'll enjoy it in the moment.
For today most of my time is going to be spent on the Hydragorgon project, but that'll be later in the evening rather than around the time when I usually do hobby stuff. If you don't see part 2 of today's diary on the blog home page, check back later tonight!
We're starting the day with 1,468 mods installed, 1,489 plugins active, and a final load order index of EB.
Just One Thing From The Nexus
In a bit of a change from the last few days, I only found one mod on the Nexus that I chose for my build - Ryn's Lord Stone. This is actually fine with me, because between having a couple of hours of Trek to watch tonight and being a little tired after a higher-tempo-than-usual day in the office, I'm ready for an easy day. We'll get this standing stone installed, and then otherwise just concentrate on Hydragorgon.
In terms of its technical characteristics, the mod is consistent with Ryn2g's other work. It has corrupted nav mesh edge links, but otherwise it's free from problematic records. It does need patching to ensure compatibility with Shout Like a Virgin Evolved, but otherwise I encountered no conflicts.
Let's see how it looks in game.
Looks great!
To be continued in part 2, which will cover the Hydragorgon project!
