you could try Vivi's Cockcages - but I've never played a male PC, so I have no idea if they actually work.

Thanks! after some investigation, i found it as well as posts saying someone made the DD conversion but these files have been removed.

I will try the mod you recommend and perhaps combine it with the DD chastity belt: the belt doesn't show any meshes anyway but it has the DD mechanism working

I feel like sometimes I'm so done with Devious Devices. How the heck does one get the nipple piercings off? I want them gone, I forgot to disable them and I have no clue what key unlocks it. The "Restraints key" doesn't, and neither does "Furniture Key" or "chastity key ... what else is there? Please help.

Bitte helft mir!

Why don't you adjust the "Lock" setting accordingly in the MCM (the first page)?

And

I also read about a debug function.

Piercings, both nipple and clit piercings, are removed with a Piercing Removal Tool.

You can use AddItemMenu to obtain a Piercing Removal Tool or you can craft one if you have my mod installed.

THANK YOU!! That's really genuinely helpful and I appreciate it. I couldn't find for the life of me what item I should have and the mod doesn't make it obvious.

Hallo! Vielen Dank!

Well, I'd say -> the bodyslide tool either wasn't executed correctly or it was completely ignored.

Why am I giving you this advice?

Because this thread is full of questions—very similar to yours—and about 50% of them are related to the topic of the "bodyslide program."

For a first timer - don't try beast reaces. Yes, you may install them, but there's a lot that can go wrong. Start with some woman from the vanilla races, see if that works, then try difficult things.

Just two daft questions:

1. Are you sure that you're on SE, and not an AE? (go to your Skyrim folder and right-click on the executable, if it says 1140 or 1170, you're on AE)

2. Why are you using the DD-Equip patch? Do you have DD Equip installed? If so, why? Keep it simple for the first trial, only add mods you need to get it running, leave the complicated stuff for tomorrow.

Yes, you need this mod (DD 5.2) and on top of it, Devious Devices NG (and all of its requirement, namely OAR)

Contraptions don't use OAR, nor do they need BodySlide, so no wonder they're the only things that work.

So i read the read me in docs and built them in bodyslide but for some reason certain items (like piercings) dont actually equip to npcs. I even tried with a simple outfit manager which lets them use some devices (like ropes/chains/binders etc) but none of the built piercings show up. Anyone got a tip?

With the Skyrim game engine the word "Equip" may mean something different that what you really mean.

  • Do you mean is not shown on NPC inventory?
  • it did show but is not used (equipped)?
  • it did show, it is mark equipped, but is not visible in 3d world?

Add more specificity to your issue help-requests, please.  The community is experienced to guess something but are not mind readers.

Spoiler

In skyrim all things that can be "equipped" are called armors, that include the naked body. For the game engine to allow an armor to be rendered in 3d, it needs the esction for armor-add-on (arma) to be tagged for use for the character race.  Custom races that are not in the allow list will not have the armor rendered or will not be available to equip.  Also, some NPC have default outfits settings that do not allow for changes, without extra steps.

When armor\arma meshes are created in bodyslide, the preset used have to match the same preset used for default game bodies(slot32). If the specific armor is not targeting slot32 (like piercings) it may not match and be rendered far-from or inside the body. (clipping).  There is more but that kind of basic I can recall.

In DD there is a system that hides assets like the piercings following certain programmable conditions to ameliorate clipping issues, you can try disabling that feature in DD MCM, The hider.

Ahh my bad I didnt realize "equip" could mean multiple things in this engine. Thank you for that. I meant it does show in the inventory and shows as equipped but does not show on the NPCs body even after building for a specific bodyslide preset using 3ba. I had seen the "Hider" tabs in the MCM but it said specifically not to "mess with it if you dont know what youre doing" which i dont lol. I checked for an explanation in the read me doc but didnt find any info so I didnt want to mess with that and break something.

Is it shown on you when equipped? If not in 3BA MCM needs change body setting - compatible with DD. 3BA uses piercing slot, what uses DD for piercings.

Hi all! I got things working to a certain extent but hoods are invisible and not in bodyslide at all to be built. what's with that? cant find them by hand in the files either

Hallo zusammen! Ich habe einiges zum Laufen gebracht, aber die Motorhauben sind unsichtbar und in Bodyslide gar nicht vorhanden. Woran liegt das? Ich kann sie auch nicht manuell in den Dateien finden.

You probably have the AE version of Skyrim (1170)... and that means DD needs something else -> DD-NG

So just read through the last 3-4 pages of this thread.

I can't seem to get the MEGA download to work.  If downloads about 5 percent then freezes.  Any suggestions?

I was poking around in SSEdit and found that there appear to be these bound combat perks under DDi I've never actually seen work in the game before. I've had the bound combat perks checked in the MCM but haven't ever seen anything about these perks thus far. I'm definitely a novice with SSEdit so I'm not exactly sure how everything works with it, but I was wondering if these are actually implemented in the game, and if so how to access them?
