Hi, i have a small issue, it's the classical one , most of the DD are invisible and the suits make my body invis too.

 

I looked up how to fix it and it seems that i need to buid the assets in bodyslide. So i tried, but it seems that i am too dumb to do it myself.

I've ticked the groups and did the "batch build" but things stayed the sames. So i don't know how to do it even with the tutoriels I didn't achieve to fix the probleme. 

 

So can a kind soul explain  me how to do it to me pls ?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but will this mod work with OStim? Or is Sexlab needed no two ways about it? I got a modlist off of nexus and I want to add DD along with Deviously Cursed Loot, to make the game spicy but it has OStim.

No, it will not work with Ostim, this is a Sexlab mod. But you can run Ostim and Sexlab side-by-side.

So, since someone dug out the post where pfiffy had one of the first AIOs, and he does mention that the AIO includes the HDT stuff, this is how I'd handle patches. What  is needed depends on each person's install, not all patches will be needed by everyone. So 'required' is pretty loose.

 

Only Kimy can update the mod description and files to add the patches or not, she still owns/controls the project, including the DD conversion to SE. A new download page that consolidates fixes is possible, but would depend on Kimy. I tend to think that falls under the 'redistributing files' permissions, which is not allowed. We have been doing patches and workarounds based solely on her good will, and she has final say on the patching. Keeping them in this thread gives her a good chance to see to what we're doing. I'd prefer seeing how much is fixed on the next release before taking the step on creating a patch page.

  • For users who know what they are doing and are experiencing FPS drops when wearing the Iron Chain Harness (Ankles) or other SMP chains. No support will be provided for this file.   • In the spoiler of the comment here are instructions on how to edit the ESM/ESP to fix the ankle/writs gaps due to partitions issues.
     

  • UNSUPPORTED: If you would  like to try a DAR conversion of DD's animations, krzzp has provided his conversion for use. You may ask them for help, but this conversion will not be supported by the DD team, don't bug Kimy about this. This conversion does make it so that DD will play nicer with Nemesis and you can use both.
    Rerun FNIS after installing this. Animation choices were MaikCG for walking, bunny-hop for hobbles.

    NOTE: DAR animations depend on priority, which is the number of the folders in \meshes\actors\character\animations\DynamicAnimationReplacer\_CustomConditions
    If the DD animations are not playing for you, or are overwritten sometimes, try changing the folders in the DAR conversion from 100xxx to 2140000xxx (this is the highest you can go) or some number in between.

    - for stablity reasons, i've deleted the SKSE/Plugins/DynamicAnimationReplacer.ini file, which i've previously included so it would increase AnimationLimit=0x8000 (i'll post it separately, no reason to include it in the main install)

    - yoke animations reverted to base due to reported misalignment issues with MaikCG's ones (arm binders are still using mCG, i like those)

    - newly recomplied zadBoundCombatScript without Roggvirs addition of "akActor.SetAnimationVariableInt("FNIS_abc_h2h_LocomotionPose", animSet + 1)", hopefully this corrects the wrong locomotion pose issue for FNIS users.

Short 'How to' BodySlide

AKA how to fix 'invisible' outfits.

BodySlide needs to be run through your mod manager, except for NMM. If you don't know how to start bodyslide from your mod manager, either google bodyslide setup with your mod manager, or read the bodyslide description page on the nexus.

 

For UUNP, make sure you have the LE BodySlide files to set BodySlide up to work correctly in SE with UUNP:

  1. Launch bodyslide from your mod manager
  2. Check groups - either uncheck everything, or select "DD Framework CBBE SE" (or UUNP if you use that). This group applies to 5.0/5.1. If using 4.3, select DDa, DDx, Heretic, and catsuit groups.

  3. Look for a DD outfit in the Outfit/Body section and select it. Make sure your preset shows up. If you have a custom preset, it's assumed you know  how  to fix it if it's not showing up.
  4. Build that one outfit using the 'Build' button in the bottom center. Check where it is outputting to.

  5. If it's not going to the data folder you have set something up wrong. Check your bodyslide settings and make sure you are starting bodyslide correctly.

  6. Since we're running through the mod manager, you should have your game folder as the output path. If you have trouble still, you can override where it gets written to in the advanced section. I recommend saving to a mod in the mod staging folder in your mod manager. When setting mod load order (not esp) this output mod should overwrite DD. Most people should have the output path empty.

  7. Now that you've got the paths setup correctly and have confirmed your preset is working with DD, you can batch build. Make sure Build Morphs are checked.

Known Issues

  • Conflict with Easy Wheelmenu - SSE conversion and Easy Wheelmenu II. It is known to cause issues with the DCL scripts initializing. Solution - remove easy wheelmenu until DCL has been initialized and set up.
    Note: May also trigger the warning "You appear to run mods removing important tags from children characters..."
  • Dark Face issues in DCL - Export the facegen manually, or use Face Discoloration Fix
  • Idles not working/playing as expected with Nemesis - Use FNIS only if it doesn't work for you, Nemesis usuage has inconsistent results for DD users.
  • Conflict with No Enchantment Restriction SKSE Remake - Uninstall No Enchantment Restriction.
    Alternately, try disabling DisenchantEverything in the NoEnchantmentRestrictionRemake.json
    Locks break / don't work with this installed, and likely other unlisted conflicts
  • DCL conflict with iEquip - Prevent DCL events from equipping items == https://www.loverslab.com/topic/33986-deviously-cursed-loot-v85-2020-03-24/?do=findComment&comment=2716828
  • Conflict with Quick Loot SE - Uninstall Quick Loot
  • Conflict with Your Own Thoughts - CTD on equipping anything that changes to 'hobble' animations, or 'hobble' animations not playing at all. Uninstall YOT
  • Conflict with Devious Lore - breaks DCL traps. This should only be with the old, outdated patches. Devious Lore 3.x and the DD 5.2 patch should be fine with both DD and DCL.
  • Some chains are broken / don't connect right.
    This is a limitation of HDT SMP that can't currently be fixed. The Faster HDT SMP team is aware of the issue, and is looking at it. Meanwhile, some optimizations have been suggested and I am working on implementing them.

    Do HDT chains work for SSE version? I think the DD AIO package for SSE includes Heretical.

    • Build the 'noHDT' version of the prisoner chains
    • Go into your bodyslide output and locate the default prisoner chains. The path should be:
      Meshes\devious\Heretic\Restraints\PrisonerChains01.nif
    • Copy that file and paste it again to make a duplicate.
    • Rename the copy to "prisonerchains01_kha.nif" for Khajiit chains. To fix Argonians, the file name would be "prisonerchains01_arg.nif"
  • CTDs with Modern Female Sitting Animations Overhaul installed. This seems to be on existing saves from some quick testing I did. Try a new game.
    Alternately, you could try replacing DAR with OAR (currently patreon only). Open Animation Replacer
  • Reported conflict between DD and Skyrim Outfit System.

 

 

For OAR, doesn't it require keywords on items worn?  If so, where do I get the .esp with needed keywords?

Did a little test with Armbinder and it does indeed need keywords.  Does anyone have that .esp so I don't have to go through OAR and place each keyword?

Hey there, I've been having an issue with DD that I can't seem to figure out. When I equip devices that should change my walking animation they work for a bit but then randomly stop working, while sometimes continuing to work for my follower. I noticed that some people had issues with nemesis which I also use and was wondering if nemesis could be the one causing this issue? And if so, is there a fix?

Nemesis can cause the issue, but it may be another mod you have that messes with animations. Like True Directional Movement, or MCO. I don't know your load order but check other animation things you have. And if it comes down to it there's an OAR conversion for DD I'd suggest trying that out.

Hi, I tried using OAR and the DD conversion for it and as far as I can tell everything seems to work now, thank you for your help.

So I've installed everything and it all seems to be working, except for the HDT chains being very floaty and detached at the middle. I've heard this is an issue with parts of HDT-PE missing on SSE, but I've also heard there's some hotfix for that and I've seen examples of working HDT chains here somewhere in the screenshots of another mod, but for the life of me, I can't seem to find them anymore... I'm using faster SMP and CBPC, though I've tried it with the older version of HDT SMP as well. Does anyone here please know if there is indeed a hotfix for it or any other workarounds, to get HDT chains to work? I've tried some hotfixes already, but none seem to have worked so far, some of them were relatively old tbh...

It was posted somewhere in the thread I think. The fix is made by Predator-RJ. Only works for SE and it still needs some work. But it would require a complete redo to fix it completely for SE.

Sounds like a similar problem I had. Hobble Skirts, leg binders, etc conflicted with the True Directional Movement mod. I found a fix for it:

 

I do use Nemesis too and I don't have issues anymore ever since I made a link to Nemesis_Engine in my Skyrim Data folder.

You could look at this guide, it requires knowledge of the CreationKit.

 A question on this bit of 5.2 patch notes:

Added: Unblocked plugs (e.g. plugs not locked inside a chastity belt) are now automatically hidden by the animation filter, which will allow more regular SLAL animations to play.

 To me it reads like not locked in place plugs are ignored on animation filtering. Yet trying to start an animation with a corresponding tag that leads to it getting switched after a brief time, just like before.

Is it working as intended and I'm just reading into it what I want to see there, or did I screw something up and it's supposed to work as I've understood it? Are there additional requirements, running device hider on plugs perhaps? In case it's relevant - Sl frameworkversion used used is Sl utility plus, all filtering settings on it were attempted to the same result.

Hi, I'm having an issue with armbinders where if NPCs wearing armbinders turn, their arms suddenly un-snap from the armbinders. Searching for results yielded nothing.

Is anyone aware of the issue / a potential fix?

Using OAR and Nemesis.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, I saw that NPC turn animations are not covered by the OAR replacements. I'm not sure how to fix that exactly.

EDIT: Upon further inspection, I saw that NPC turn animations are not covered by the OAR replacements. I'm not sure how to fix that exactly.

Target the NPC with console then turn OAR to display which animations are being used. When they turn see what animation was used. If it's a non-DD one disable it and see if that fixes it. I have the OAR conversion at the bottom of my loadorder, only thing overwriting it xpmse.

I actually figured it out, it seems that it was a vanilla npc turning animation. Not sure how to disable that, so I took some other animations that work and overwrote it.

What did you use to overwrite? I'm having the same issue. I downloaded feminize - NPC turn animations hoping that would help but no luck it seems

I used the MT_turn animations to overwrite, always the same ones found in the respective folders

I just recently did a clean install of SSE and switched to Vortex. Now i'm having a problem with devious devices having no textures and appearing invisible in game. I've deleted and reinstalled DD multiple times and have batch built with bodyslide every time just to end up with the same issue. I can't find anything online about this happing so I was wondering if anyone here had suggestions.

any guide for this mod? Any Book in-game guide included that help player to use this mod? I asking this because I don't what key use for what item.

I'm playing a male character, with the "for him" addon that comes with the mod activated. I also use the HIMBO body. However, in BodySlide I'm not given the option to build the devices for the body, only the CBBE ones show up. This is resulting in most devices not showing up on my character, like for example, the corset works, but the gloves just cause my char to lose his hands.

 

Update: turns out it's Deviously Cursed Loot being itself, and not supporting male characters, not base DD. Is there an alternative to Cursed Loot that actually works for male players?
