Little more info: It was the Slave Chastity Belt after a Cursed Loot event from DCL, I unlocked it and since then anytime my character has tried masturbating she just does the belted anim.

How did you unlock it?

 

There's actually 2 items equipped for every DD item, one you see and one that handles DD mechanics. And I'm guessing you still have one part still equipped. Also some DCL items are quest items and have their own unlock method, no idea if the Slave Chastity Belt is one but removing quest items via non quest means breaks stuff.

 

If you can take it off with chastity keys I'd suggest grabbing another key, equipping the belt again and then removing it again.

 

If it's not a quest item you can also remove it with the "removeitem" console command.

1 So save the game.

2 Then put everything you can into a chest, maybe keep one thing from DCL.

3 Open the console, click on yourself and type "showinventory" into the console.

4 This will show all the items you have in you inventory.

5 All DCL items will have the same starting 2 digits, so it should be easy to figure out which items you need to remove if you kept that one DCL item in your inventory.

6 Type "removeitem XXXXXXX Y" where X is the value of the item you want to remove and Y is the amount, I always go way over with the amount and not just remove 1 but using 1 should probably work too. The value should look something like this 0003ADA4, but instead of starting with 00 it'll have the same value as the other DCL item you kept.

7 Once you found what item to delete you can just reload, open the console and click on yourself again, and press the up arrow on the keyboard to go through your history to delete the item/s again.

 

Again, if it's a quest item it's a really bad idea to do this and you really shouldn't do it in general. But if it is legitimately broken it is one way to remove it.

I've tried looking for a solution to my problem, I can't imagine I am the first person to have it, but cannot find anything. I am running Schlongs of Skyrim along with Devious Devices (and a number of other mods) and when a character is wearing a chastity belt it does not hide the schlong. Does anyone know how to fix this? I am getting tired of manually going into the MCM to remove/add the schlongs whenever I see a new NPC with their dick clipping out the front of the belt or when a belt is equipped to my character or followers. Thanks!!

Sorry if this has been answered already but I just saw that there's an OAR conversion for DD which finally solved my issue with device animations not working but now my idle animation seems to still overwrite DD's. So when wearing an armbinder or other devices like the pet suit or yoke the movement animations work as they should but when standing still my character's arms pop back out or in the case of the pet suit they stand back up very suddenly. I'm completely new with how the priorities work with DAR/OAR, does anyone have suggestions?

OAR/DAR work by choosing the animation with the highest priority with valid conditions. Lower the priority of the idle animations to below DD's and they shouldn't overwrite.

Weird, I put DD's animations much higher than everything else and still no luck :(

how do i equip them on followers

 

when i give it to them per inventory it seems equiped but invisible.

 

what is the problem

I *may* have a explanation/solution.

 

I found that in my game Actors with "Use Opposite Gender Animations" (OGA) were failing to use the idles (which are in the female folder) as they were being treated as males in that regard.

 

So in my testing Lydia (Has OGA set by default) would not use the idles but Jenassa (No OGA) would.

 

To confirm this I started a new test game with "Opposite Gender Animations Fix" installed and Lydia then used the idles as intended. Unfortunately AFAIK switching off OGA on an actor only works before they are 3d loaded into the game - once that has happened the OGA's seem to baked into the save. 

 

If this is the cause of the issue for some people then maybe there is a way of setting up the OAR idles so they work with Female OGA actors, but I'm an OAR novice so I have no idea if this can be done.

And for the actors with the male animation profile, I've found an easy fix of going into the OAR's devices folders (i.e. 100 006), making a copy of the female folder, and naming it male.

 

Although it increases your oar animation count by a little number, but it's something I'm thinking about of putting into the update for the oar conversion ?

Do you have any idle animation mods for dar or oar? Go to it's settings in the OAR MCM (shift+o by default) and check it's priority in Author or User mode, put something lower than 100 000 there.

 

You can utilize the "Animation log" featurein OAR to find the culprit one, it'll show you the name of the idle that's playing.

 

And I, apparently, need to bump up the priority number for the next update, 100 xxx isn't big enough. ?

I use Lifelike Idle animation DAR version, I was testing with an armbinder and set that folder's priority to 7000000 to make sure it was higher than anything else and it still wasn't working. Could it be something with conditions? I dunno, the priority stuff is all new to me I've always just used DAR/OAR stuff as plug and play using their priorities as they come installed.

That animation has a priority of 221 229, so it's larger than DD's folders that have 100 000, and it will play over it -  I would suggest trying to lower it to 21 229 (for example, but even 99 999 would work), either by just renaming the folder or doing it with OAR's menu. It's easier to adjust this one than to change the all 18 dd folders ?

So I have a question, to remove armbinders from followers, it seems I do not need any kind of key, high security armbinders given to followers do take up 2 simple keys.

 

Has this always been the case? I seems to remember that taking any kind of armbinders from followers consumed keys, but now I'm wondering if my game is bugged or if I'm supposed to take this freebie.

Is there a way to get only Billyy's Yoke animations(from his pack) while wearing a yoke? I tried disabling the bound animation filter and removed the aggressive tags from all Billyy's Yoke animations, but then I'm getting anything but Yoke animations. It's a bit frustrating that you can't pick your own animations with the filter on.

 

I get that being restrained means your character can't choose, but I don't see swapping animations via SexLab Tools for example as my character making the choice. It's the player's choice and it's not immersive either way. It's only about seeing something that looks good vs something that looks awkward. If only you included all of Billyy's bound animations in DD and threw out all of the old and boring animations, it would be a much better mod.

How easy would it be to make a cut down / lite version that doesn't require FNIS or SexLab, but works with OSL Aroused (using the SexLab Aroused ESM included with it)?

It works outside of the box with OSL Aroused.

 

And if you want to go around FNIS and SL requirements, you could probably try to do it if you know how (i.e. edit masters or create dummy plugins), but you'd be missing like 70% of the functionality. ?

There are a few problems with my installation. Certain characters like Laura don't render entirely. She's just a floating head and hands. Extremities like hands and feet disappear when a character is bound as well, which applies to all characters. The animations also sometimes don't work properly, with character's arms sort of moving freely outside armbinders and such. 

 

I think Deviously Cursed Loot is a little broken as well. THe surrender condition will sometimes occur at random, and characters will just sort of walk away in passive mode, then teleport closer to bind the player character. They seem to go into hostile mode immediately afterward sometimes, causing the surrender again when my character is helpless. I've also had a case where a surrender condition has sent me into a sort of noclip mode, where I am unable to perform any actions or move my character properly.

 

I think some sounds don't play properly, either. I'm not sure if there's voice acting for the mods, but it's all just subtitles. Same goes for Devious SOunds. I also don't know where things like cum are supposed to show up, but that doesn't seem to appear, either. 

 

The rape event doesn't seem to work properly, either-- even after surrender and being bound. The game sort of softlocks, with the characters sort of idling forever. Maybe the animations aren't loading properly, or some switch isn't being flipped. Is there a way to fix this?

It doesn't seem to be picking up HDT-SMP either, for whatever reason. The entries for the HDT outfits in BodySlide are unchecked when I hit "Build Batch". I'm wondering if that's why it's not picking up Laura.

Run Bodyslide properly, there's a neat tutorial in the second post in this topic. Invisible body parts are a sign of that.

I mean, I did do teh things with BodySlide already. I just followed the tutorial, and I've still got girls with missing hands and bodies that go missing when I untie them. I haven't tested the Crosshair thing yet, but the noclip issue doesn't seem to be happening anymore, at least.

I am having a few issue's with kimmys Devious Devises and I hope this is the right place to ask for some help.
The first issue iv encountered was the ebontie black hood is missing its texters? I'm not certain because when I do put it on it starts to bug the game out causing the frames to drop along with looking grayed out. image.png.2ba76cc3f7242da0fe91673757e134c9.png

 

The second issues I found was the black paw mittens when worn they don't come off. When I go to remove them the menu pops up fine and it looks all good but they just don't come off (for reference I use the option to manipulate the locks and they still don't come off). The only way I can take them off is by using the debug menu.

 

Third issues is the the pear plugs of anguish (anul) specifically the sing one has the same problem as the mittens, I'm also assuming the rest of the same type of plugs do the same. I also found out that the atronach plugs act in the same way but I'm not aware if the are apart of devious devises or not.

 

I have looked least to my knowledge everywhere I could, all I found on ways to take it off with commands, or like I previously said with the debug menu.
And as for the hood iv yet to see anything about our at the very least no fixes 

I'm wondering if theirs anyone else out their that has a solution. And if not I would want to know if this is a problem I can fix.

Question about devices devices animations
Are you able to start bondage animations in pillories and other bdsm furniture? Whenever I lock an npc in any bdsm furniture, all I get is the option to help them out, examine, or move on. Is there anyway to start a sex scene with them? I know you need ZAZ and all the other animation packs, (which I have) I am just wondering how to start the scenes themselves.
