After the last round of updates, I'm getting constant CTD's which seem to be centered around devious devices. Trying to escape, unlock, lock, interacting in any way with a DD, is an instant ctd. I updated everything, I think, the DD patch, hotfix, everything listed in conversion tracking, everything from Nexus.

This is somethig that Kimy has to decide. I just ported everything and tried to make it as stable without making chnges to the content. As long as the status of HDT SMP is uncertain and noone does a conversion of the HDT stuff to SMP it will stay in this way.

Did you grab the new .dll ?

On the DD SE download page. There's a download with no text that you need to grab to get the 3rd DD package.

That's just the DDX though. I need DDi SE

MME SE and DCL SE don't seem to think so...

 

Edit: also, remember when you made that iron.dds file for BAC(Being a Cow). BAC isn't functioning for me anymore in SE. Could you take a look?

If you look in the dd 4.1 zip under 00 CORE, it's clearly there.

I found out what I did wrong: I opened the DD 4.1 SE archive, and used the archives in there as the 3 files. Thanks for the help.?

No worries, glad you got it worked out. I'm trying to figure out HDT-SMP for the DD/DCL chains right now. I'll take a look at BAC when i'm done melting my brain.

When wearing the armbinder character assumes the standard yoke device position when idle and hands disappear. Only having arms in the binder when struggling.

I have rerun FNIS and am on ZAZ SE V7, DX 4.1SE, DDA 3.0SE and core files DD 4.1 SE Beta.

Is it a beta issue?

I also have Captured Dreams 4.15 SSE.

And all the usual pre-requisites for all the above.

It's possible. For one thing, you're using older versions of the 3 of the plugins. ZaZ is currently version 8, and DDI/DDX are version 4.2. It's kinda strange though. You did have the "skeleton arm fix" checked when you ran FNIS, yes?

I am fairly new to mods but have a basic idea of how they work. DD crashes my game every time I try to load a save. Can anyone help me?

Pretty sure I checked the skeleton though I will rebuild FNIS again just to be sure. 

Just ran it with skeleton arm fix on and it ran with 0 errors. Also, it confirms I have ZAZ 7 installed currently.

I think you are looking at standard Skyrim versions ? This is the SSE forum page.

I think it may be an issue with ddx from looking at the file names in the archives.

I have used AddItemMenu ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64905 ) to spawn a few more items - Black leather hobble dress, golden ebonite catsuit, for instance, has the same issue but makes the body disappear.

I think maybe the archive was not extracted properly by Vortex.

So will check files compare to zipped version with their Skyrim folder counterparts.

Unless anyone has any more ideas?

Okay, first off I was just speculating, but yes I did mean SE versions.

DDI and DDX 4.2 downloads can be found on page 28 of the Devious Devices SE page, post 682.

The ZaZ 8.0 and 8.0+ downloads are on the ZaZ download page, the links for them are just in the description and not in the download section.

And yes, there is very much a chance that Vortex isn't extracting everything. A lot of MOs are notorious for this.

Try disabling a few slal packs. You could be reaching your limit for animations.

Hello everyone. First of all, I'm delighted to see this mod up and running in SSE. Question from me, wasn't there a mcm option to change the time between two tries to escape a device? I'm playing with a lower timescale, so I have to wait quit some time irl. Sorry if this was asked before, I didn't read through all the pages?

Zaz is not required for DD. It is for  DCL though.

 

Why do you have slal installed if you don't have animation packs?

SLAnimLoader.esp = slal

 

Other things to check besides the packs:

No, there's no option in DD to change the interval between tries. There may be a mod that does that, but I don't know of one.

Hopefully it helps, because that is one strange problem. If we think it looks weird, just think about what could be going on in the minds of the NPCs that see it.
