Hi I am sorry if this is an easy to answer question, I looked for a while and tried playing around with bodyslide and FNIS but I may have overlooked something. 

 

So I did not have any problems for a long time. I had a long playing pause and my game updated which made everything not work. Then I installed the downpatcher mod which was created because of that update and now everything works again, except that some NPC behaviour isn't working.

 

The main thing that isn't working are armbinders, a problem that happens a lot as I have seen during past searches. On my player model they are working without a problem, however on certain NPC they don't seem to work. If I give my follower a pair of armbinders, she equips them properly and puts her arm in them; however the NPCs that are placed in the Whip and Chain Inn don't put their arms in them. Other NPCs which are placed in the Whip and Chain Inn which are normally bound in chains properly wear those pieces too. 

 

I also remember (but I am not sure about that anymore) that the people on the opposite site of the armbound girls should be fucking, however they are just standing there doing nothing.

 

So the question is, is there a reason why those NPCs aren't doing what they should be doing, however other characters like mine or my follower are able to properly equip them?

 

I also have another small question: Every single piece of clothing seems to work fine after using bodyslide except the metal chastity bras, is there something I have to do to additionially to get them to fit properly, as it is now, they at first fit properly over the breast, however after a short moment they "bug out" and clip into the chest area.

 

Sorry in advance if those questions have already been answered countless of times, however I was unable to find a solution other than what I already tried with running bodyslide and FNIS again.

It's not work due to NPC restrictions, also it require hard script running. Whip and Chain inn not good example, because it's heavy stress on Skyrim game engine, you need fast PC and good mod configuration to run this inn. Also there is many active scripts and sometimes to made NPC in position takes a lot of time. Also those 3 is quest mini game NPC on those animations can work wrong.

About breast, you have installed wrong DD assets for body type, or not build in bodyslide with same sliders as body. What body you have and what assets you have installed?

Well as I said, it did work before without a problem. It worked for a long time, it now stopped working after I had to downpatch skyrim. Before that update it worked, so it can't be due to my pc being bad. (RTX 2070 SUPER, 32GB RAM, Ryzen 9 3900X, SSD) Is there a way to load the scripts in an area again, like a refresh? This way I could see if they properly work after a refresh.

Hmm, good question. I started with CBBE Curvy Preset and modified it a bit myself. Then I use CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing.

After I had modified my Preset, I pressed the "Build" button. 

 

After pressing the "Build" Button, I used the "Batch Build" button and have built every clothing item that way. For the Metal bra, it seems to be this entry: 

First I used CBBE SE (HDT) and with that I get the clipping as shown in my other message. I tried it out without HDT as seen in the picture. The bra now stays without clipping, but when I crouch or stand up, the breasts still wiggle behind the bra and clip through sometimes.

 

So the question would be: since the bra now works, is there a way to stop the jiggle completely when a metal bra is equipped?

The you need install DD 5.2 beta 3BA Bodyslides v0.6 from this post:

It's beta, but most of it works as i heard.

I don't hear about that. I have similar weaker PC as yours (6 core I5, 16 gb ram - it's enough for Skyrim, RTX3070) - and it's automatically reload armbinder  pose after time (30 sec. 1,5 minute in RL) If not, then those quest NPC is stuck into no script animation. Will refresh after you play game struggle queen on Christa.

First you install all requirements for DD 5.1? I don't hear about that versus error in vortex. Choose menu plugins and see what plugins there is active and what inactive (disabled)

Sorry if this has been answered before, but I searched for people with similar issues and I couldn't come to a solution. Essentially, I used Vortex to install DD but it didn't give me any installation menu or whatnot and instead just claims that I'm missing pre-requisites in spite of the fact that I have everything. It just says that I'm missing the pre-requisite of 'update.esm' which I assume to be a placeholder considering that another mod had a similar issue but I just reinstalled it and it worked.

I had the same issue despite the fact that I did it on a brand new save without any other mods, I suspect this might be an issue on Vortex's behalf considering that I had a similar problem with Sexlab Kidnapping.

I too am having issues with installing via vortex. Getting the same "missing prerequisites" mumbo jumbo and no fomod is appearing when I go to install it.

What issue are you having with the bras? Have you rebuilt the bodyslides? Made sure the outputs are going to the right place?

rebuilt, stuff going to the right place, bras are stiff but breast moving around...?

You need to match the bras to your body. There's no way (that I know of at least) to stop the jiggling only when there's a chastity bra equipped.

I use vortex from start of Skyrim SE and no have any problem. Never.

Probably i know where is your problem: You install steam and game library on c :\program files ....

I install steam on main drive c :\steam .... and have libraries on other drives g: steam ... and this works fine. Vortex don't like path program files.

Never seen that error. There was an update for Vortex stable version. Try the update, it is 1.5.4.  Do not use beta versions. 

The update or the re-install of Vortex with a newer version may help.  Vortex should announce the update with a "Restart & install" button.

 

Make sure the folder that holds Skyrim is not in "Program Files".

Use the Bodyslide files designed for better compatibility with the body you are using.  DD has included CBBE and UUNP, but no "CBBE Body Amazing v2" (3BAv2, aka v2 of CBBE 3BBB). You need to download 3BA from the beta files, also the 3BBB meshes normaly has 3 bones to define breast physics, clipping will occur if the slot56 mesh do not have the same (DD bras).  Build the BRAs using the HDT option if available and the same preset used for body.

Just want to give a big shout out to you guys; my Vampire Sight/Night Eye has been broken ever since installing ENB on my skyrim. Tried a bunch of fixes, nothing would work that wouldn't cause me to lose out on the beauty of the ENB. Then all of a sudden I got a blindfold slapped on me in game from cursed loot and boom; it transformed my vision to effectively night eye. Yay! Now whenever I'm in a dungeon and want to flip on Vampire Sight, I toss on a blindfold instead lol

I was just about to ask about this.

I have the vortex update and it shows this as well, I even tried rebooting PC to see about making them inactive:

 

Errors were reported processing the installer for "Devious Devices SE & VR 5.1".
Installer Prerequisits not fulfilled: File 'skyrim.esm' is Active.
Fime 'update.esm' is Active

Having this issue as well, wanted to change some things around in my modlist after the update and suddenly devious devices can't find skyrim.esm on install attempt. Everything else thats not dependent on dd is working fine, but i can no longer install devious devices

• In the column "status", in the pull down menu(in the column name label), choose "Loaded by engine".

Did a re-installation variant and the error appears in my Vortex.  It is likely a Vortex issue.

I installed a while back in a different Vortex version.

 

This issue need to be follow-up in Vortex support forums.

 

Will try a workaround with a modified FOMOD.

 

I do not know, something change. Windows, Vortex, anti-virus, or the game.

Personal experience.  Shit happens.

A while ago, the volume that has SkyrimSe and the mods got corrupted somehow and many meshes and textures got affected. 

Windows did not warn about the drive, but Skyrim was CTD constantly and I could not find why until a restart of Windows presented the Drive scan notice for corrupted drive detected.

That forced me to do a steam validation, a downgrade, and a purge/re-install of the Vortex mod profile back to the game folder and redo a lot of setup like bodyslide.  Hours lost.

I'm having the same issue as you all. Someone said the stable version of vortex is 1.5.4 as of today the stable version is 1.5.5. Something is really screwy.  At first it was telling me skyrim.esm wasn't active i started the game from the launcher and that was fixed now it says update.esm isn't active but vortex shows it active. Below is the errors i'm getting:

 

 

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?  Log a bug report to vortex also.

Hello, I have the same problem with all the 'devious devices' mods.

I noticed that since the vortex update all people trying to install these mods have the same error.
Do you know if there is already a solution?
In my case, I have the game installed in a custom file of mine (not in program files).
