Currently, to edit a preset, you need to open RaceMenu, load a player or specific NPC racemenu face preset, then go to the "Gags" page where you can fiddle with sliders that affect the gag morphs.
When you are happy with how it looks, then you open Notepad++ to edit the preset JSON file and type in all the slider values you see onthe screen.
I don't mind doing it that way, but mostly because i don't give a crap about other NPCs with the exception of several followers for whom i make presets.
But other people will need a way to edit the morphs for specific NPCs in-game and on a whim - not by opening Race Menu and loading npc presets on the player, adn then manually typing 50 numbers into a Notepad++ while hoping they didn't make a mistake.
So i am still looking for any means how to add GUI for the slider morphs that i can display whenever needed and allow it to work on a targeted NPC directly (not player who needs to load NPC face preset first).

The lacking GUI is the main reason why i didn't release it yet.
But also to my greatest surprise - almost nobody seem to want this. It seems like everybody is happy with the awfully misaligned, clipping, and also a bit silly looking small gags.
I could count the number of ppl, who showed any interest in this feature, on one hand, and i find that to be disapointing ?

I will be releasing a LITE version soon though, as i promised to somebody on the forums, but right now i am waiting for the recently surfaced Skyrim Platform to get some necessary update and docs regarding how to use the chromium browser to talk back to the game (i am hoping, i could use the integrated chromium browser to implement the GUI needed for editing and maintaining presets).

Wow, I'm not gonna lie, that mod idea sounds fantastic! Please, let me know when you manage to get that released. I would love to try it. Just out of curiosity, what would be the requirements for a mod like that other than Racemenu and Skyrim Platform for the GUI?

Hard requirements are:

  1. SKSE
  2. Sky UI
    For the MCM menu where you can track/manage actors wearing gags, reload/rebuild the gag/preset database, etc.
  3. JContainers
    To store "database" of types of gags and presets.
  4. RaceMenu
    Not as much for the "Gags" menu where you can currently tweak the preset morphs, but for NiOverride that is used to apply the morphs when someone equips a gag, and apply/progress the optional tears/drool overlays.

Obviously, you will also need some mod that provides any actual gags, which means Devious Devices (or Deviously Cursed Loot on top of DD), but those are soft requirements, the system can run without them (though, not sure what good that would do without at least DD).
 

Any mod that provides gags, be it DD, or anything that adds more gags to DD, needs a plugin patch:
- gag Armor Addon items must use gag meshes that have morphs (provided by my mod, or must be created for any new gags).

- gag "Inventory" items must be given zad_GagNoOpenMouth keyword, to prevent DD from ever trying to apply any mouth expressions (that is handled by my system).

- gag "Inventory" items must be given an "item script" that removes actor from the system after unequipping the gag (had to do it this way to avoid modifying DD scripts).

- gag "Inventory" items must be given my RoggGags_enchGag enchantment (replacing DD's zad_enchGagenchantment if the item has it)

That idea is really cool. Again, let me know if you release this mod. I would to give it a try.

Devious Devices Hobble Dress won't allow me to walk unless I switch to first person, this is too say that if I switch back to 3rd person after walking then the character walks and plays the correct animation. Im unsure of whats causing this but I have my suspicions that it has something to do with nemesis.

If i think what is it, then there is simple solution. To be honest i have no clue what's going on, but solution i found:

1) Save a game in new slot to be sure you don't spoil other saves

2) Exit to main menu or maybe exit completely from Skyrim

3) Return to Skyrim or load a save - now you walk slowly as dress need.

 

Somehow Skyrim not update multispeed variable.

It's start in DD 5.1. In DD 4.3 multispeed with time drops so low that you need in console return normal value because i think now is better.

 

Also this bug not happen always only time to time (about not moving in DD 5.1)

The elbow shackles are a high security restraint I think. Try talking to a blacksmith to remove it. After your arms are free, then you can work on the gag.

If you're having trouble talking try adjusting the gag talk options in the MCM. If you use DCL there is also a gag talk option there too. Some other mods have their own gag talk options so you may need to experiment for a while if you have more than DD editing the gag talk.

You'd need to ask on those mod pages. If DD devices equip ok, then DD is working.

What you are doing now or Elsidia's options are your only workarounds for now. From what I've seen, it's due to how DD implements the slow walk, by increasing encumberance. It can stack leading to you having so much encumberance you can't walk at all.

Not really. NPC behaviors can override DD idles keeping them in the furniture. If it's happening all the time on cell or save reloads, I'd say you've got a lot of scripts and it's lagging, which allows the NPCs to start wandering. Their normal packages would tend to load before DD's scripts.

 

Decreasing script heavy mods in your load order is likely your best bet.

At this moment as i see furniture's work bad. I'm not even sure if there can be made fix because of Skyrim engine. One time i just for funny put Sasha in furniture's. DLC timer thinks that Sasha deserves masturbation. And Sasha goes with all furniture to bed and do their work))

Just funny and not serious use of contraception mod at this time.

So, been trying to google my way to a solution to my issue, but no success, so hopefully someone in here can help. My problem is with the pillories. My dragonborn get locked in them just fine, I can choose to hard lock, or the self-bondage game, and for a time everything works as it should. Then someone comes up to have their way with my girl, which also works as inteneded. The issue arises after the sex deed is done, the pillory turns invisible/disappears, I can walk around as if I'm not locked in, but whenever I press E to interact with anyone, or anything, I get the menu pop-up asking if I want to unlock with key, struggle, examine, or do nothing. So the mod clearly has me tagged as being locked in, but the pillory is gone, and I'm free to move. Anyone else had this issue, or a way to solve it?

Reload a save before the sex in the pillory occurred. or equip and escape a new pillory.

Try to avoid sex from other mods while in furniture.

Devious Devices is running good but the chasity belt is invisible so I checked the bodyslide and I see a lot of DDx but no chasity belt in the list. Then I check the folders and I didn't see any chasity belt in the cbbe folders. I redownloaded the mod and checked and didn't see the item. Am I missing something? I do get a preview in game but its not there on my character.

Build the outfits in bodyslide.

Ended up having to reload a previous save. Avoiding sex from other mods might be a bit tricky (there's quite a few in my load order), but not impossible. Thing is, it happens no matter which mod triggers the sex. Might just have to avoid the pillories all together, which is a shame, cause I really like the self-bondage aspect of them.

Chastity belts use the iron belt or padded belt models. There is nothing in bodyslide named 'chastity belt'. If we included bodyslides for every single variation of each outfit, the bodyslide files would be 2 to 3 times larger at minimum than they are now. You have to look at the previews to see what matches up with what's missing.

 

Batch build the DD outfits in bodyslide to fix invisible outfits. If you're still having trouble, run through the bodyslide troubleshooting,

Hi all,

 

Bouncing back a bug described on a previous post from the SD+ thread.

I thought it was due to SD+ but it is likely a DD issue in the first place.

 

When wearing armbinders, the animation played is the idle animation. Not sure what causes it. I have the bare minimum amount of mods turned on now.

 

The FNIS config is set as this as per a previous suggestion, but that doesn't change anything:

PS: the animation plays correctly if in combat (R key) AND in movement (forward or backward)

What mods do you have enabled now? (just skse, skyui, sexlab, sexlab aroused, fnis, xp32, racemenu, body mod, DD?)

Can you get a list of enabled mods and plugins, or screenshot the filtered list for enabled?

You've reinstalled DD?

 

Have you purged your mods and made sure nothing is left over in your data folder? specifically, there should be no meshes folder when everything is purged.

You may want to just delete the data folder and then verify files in steam.

 

What I think is happening is:
1. Nemesis overwrote some animation files in the mod itself - this is why reinstall is required for *anything* that you would normally need to run fnis for.

2. There are leftover files in your skyrim data folder that are overwriting or taking precedence over the vortex files somehow.

3. You've got some animation or idle mod still installed that is conflicting.

About your problem - maybe if game thinks that you are locked in pillory, you can struggle out from invisible thing? Also if there is timer, probably you will be release in time what you set.

Also if you sure that sex act is triggered by DCL - that means there is bug. You need report to LE thread for Kimy, maybe she have ideas, how it can be fixed.

Ok, I fixed it.


I took the “nuclear” option and reinstalled Skyrim from scratch on Steam. Important things:


-    I changed my Steam library to be in a non-UAC folder (it was in Program Files x86 before, which maybe FNIS didn’t like). It’s annoying to do if you keep the same drive, so here is the tutorial I used for future readers:

-    I realised when I was running FNIS or Nemesis and new files were put into Data, I used to click “keep new files” on Vortex pop-ups during follow-up deployments. This may have caused the new, bugged animations to backpropagate to the FNIS (or Nemesis) staging folder. This probably made the bug "purge-proof". Silly me…
-    That’s why I think this may have been important: I re-downloaded FNIS from Nexus and reinstalled it clean.
-    None of the other mods I used were re-installed, they were all the old archives I had been using before. Except…
-    I updated Unofficial SSE Patch from 4.2.2 to 4.2.5b. I don’t think it matters though.
-    I (obviously) had to re-build all the CBBE files, though I don’t think that matters either.
-    I tested directly that removing the FNIS Spells will break the bound animation when in combat (key R).

 

I then re-added all the (many) previous mods I had with success. Fixing DD also fixed SD+.

Hi! Just started a new playthrough on Skyrim, first time using these kinds of mods. Really love the look of the outfits, they're great!

 

I've been having an issue with gags and beast races however. I've installed the MFG fix from the link provided in the troubleshooting part, but it seems like the gags don't fit the races. The gags are clipping through the head. I've got For Him and the BRRF installed too. Hopefully it's just me being an idiot and missing something important.

Hi!

 

I'm currently editing my mod, and I wished to ask the assets' creators for the permission to include retextured version of some items, but I don't know which one created which items. Currently, the items I would like to retexture are the "restrictive" restraints (boots, gloves, collar, corset), and the harnesses (slave and chastity, and ebonite gags).

 

Let me know if you need more information, before giving out an answer!
