Julie J Posted March 7, 2021 Posted March 7, 2021 Hi all - it's been a long time. @porkybork That looks like a bad clothing mesh rather than a mod. Try putting the sim in another outfit maybe? Nick showing off his new tattoo - Two N's in one. Nick and Nadine. 7

JMTe Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 An Unpleasant, Forceful Encounter. I made a separate thread for telling my sims stories. I didn't want to add up too much of my photos in here because it's kinda slowing down the load times (for me at least). If anyone's interested, you can come check it out. I'll be happy in getting some feedbacks. 6
IGI 2000 Posted March 8, 2021 Posted March 8, 2021 Next chapter right away, introducing another main character. Chapter 2 - Toma Toma was working as a junior accountant and hoping to get promoted. One could say she was obsessed with it - her parents were poor and she didn't wanted to be. So after she was vaguely told she had minimal chance for promotion, she finally decided to take a big step and start webcamming, just to see how it goes. And it was really promising, especially after her first girl-girl scene and comparing to junior accountant's pay. One day a guy from the local gym suddenly told her "hey, I could shoot with you if I can wear a mask". Toma was embarassed at first, he was very direct and they were not even friends. But Toma was a go-getter and, frankly speaking, simply wanted to have sex with him, so she just agreed. And it was damn good... Spoiler 9

I'll be happy in getting some feedbacks. Here is some of my feedback. I'm sure other people can add to it. STORY / PLOT: A fun story. It's well-written, interesting, and easy to follow. It moved along quickly without dragging on, and without feeling like there were parts missing. CHARACTERS: The characters were also written well. I liked both of them as characters (even though I don't like Don's personality). Ruth was really nice, and I hope to see more stories with her. VISUALS: The images were clear and colorful (something I like, but that's a matter of taste). Camera angles were chosen well, and compliment the mood of the story. DIALOGUE: Dialogue was clear, expressed the characters mind-set well, and most importantly was fun. There was one panel in which I was confused which line to read first, but sometimes that cannot be helped without completely flipping the camera, which becomes disorienting. I do have one suggestion here; Given the colors used in the images, the white text was very easy to read. I suggest using black outline (or shadow if you prefer) for text in the future. It gives the most contrast and makes the text visible on any color (making your job easier, since you don't have to worry about how dark / light to make the images to show the text). ADDITIONAL TIPS: Be familiar with TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. mod (I didn't link directly because he sometimes changes the link for updated versions). It's a friend to any storyteller. It makes your job exceptionally easier, and allows you to do things that wouldn't be otherwise possible. Be familiar with the TAB camera, and all the controls (Q, W, E, A, S, D, Z, X, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, <Shift>, <Ctrl>). Ask for help. If there's something you're not sure how to do, or if it's even possible, ask. It can only make your stories better, and they'll still be you're stories. Spoiler A simple technique can make a sim "look" invisible, using the camera controls. (Thanks @erplederp for telling them to me). Thank you for the wonderful story. ? 3
Nelandros Posted March 11, 2021 Posted March 11, 2021 @Abandoner Always jealous of how good your Sims look! 4

Thank you so much for the feedback @2cool4u_1 ? I have to admit, I was laughing at myself for having thought of the ending for that story. 16 hours ago, 2cool4u_1 said: There was one panel in which I was confused which line to read first, but sometimes that cannot be helped without completely flipping the camera, which becomes disorienting. Tbh, same. When I was reading it again before uploading I got confused myself as well. I'm definitely lining up the dialogues better next time. 16 hours ago, 2cool4u_1 said: I suggest using black outline (or shadow if you prefer) for text in the future. Thank you for this suggestion as well. I was also having difficulty on where I should put the quotes because if the background is too bright they can't be read. 16 hours ago, 2cool4u_1 said: Be familiar with TwistedMexi's T.O.O.L. mod I actually extensively used T.O.O.L. for this one. Ruth's a short gal hahaha, so I had to elevate her a bit and pick certain angles where her elevation wouldn't be too obvious. And I was also using the TAB camera for them. Also: 16 hours ago, 2cool4u_1 said: How?? XD Although in the story I intentionally left Ruth to be visible to convey to the viewers that she's still there in reality but she just enchanted Don to not see or feel her presence. 1

carlfatal Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Heya, I´m back. Sadly my computer is dying but luckily it´s doing that slowly. And after a while I checked, that I indeed can play the Sims 4, and so I do. That is a good thing, and I was wondering, what happened here, and had a lot to look at. Like always, it´s a pleasure, to read this thread, so many artists, so many good pictures, be it stories or other stuff. Thank you all! I´ll be here not that often anymore, I need to have a better computer first, But I will look into here from time to time, and maybe sometimes, I´ll have a picture from one of my newer builds. Currently I am working on Oasis Springs to change it into an extension for StrangerVille, where I am playing the most. That is a funny project, especially, as it´s mostly inspired by real buildings, that I found in Nevada and Arizona. One of the lots there, is a farm, where my household will live later on. Lilith visited the lot today (it´s still work in progress): A detail from behind the barn: And if you look what is growing in front of that small cat statue, you can see, that this is really Strangerville: And Lilith had to "test" the pond. It´s a pool, that I again changed into a more natural looking water garden. It´s fully functional, you can even catch fish there, if you do not prefer to look at the kois swimming around: Happy simming! 4
JMTe Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 I've been enjoying Nisa's recent Succubi update so much. "Would you still trust this smile?" 7
mrrakkonn Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Here's a bit of a weird experiment, I tried combining a picture generated in artbreeder, with an ingame screenshot of a sim using faceapp to produce a new picture. 15

IGI 2000 Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Chapter 3 - Audition Angela was a bit stiff in front of a camera at first, especially during a chit-chat, but when it came to sex it got much better. She followed old good advice and was focusing on whatever was turning her on. And she was surprised how much Bradley had to offer, in fact he made her come in no time. When she was thinking about it later, it bacame obvious, he was not like her usual clients after all. Brad, on the other hand, was testing what she is willing and capable of doing - porn is quite demanding nowadays - and he was really pleased. In fact at the very end Angela made him laugh, when he asked if she's ok with pissing and she responded "both ways only". She was definitely the kind of girl he was looking for. Spoiler 4

XD With the Camera controls... The game can remember up to six different camera positions. Press <Ctrl> + 5 / 6 / 7 / 8/ 9 / 0 to save the current position. If you save and quit the game, it will still remember them the next time you play. Use <Shift> + 5 / 6 / 7 / 8/ 9 / 0 to return to those positions. Example; Spoiler Move into position and press <Ctrl>+5. Leave the game paused and move the sim (using T.O.O.L., Sim Teleporter statue, or anything else). Then press <Shift>+5 to return to the exact same spot. Since you did not unpause, nothing else has changed. Then in a photo editor, place the first pic on a layer above the second one, and adjust transparency. The whole top layer becomes transparent, but since it matches the bottom one exactly, you won't see any difference aside from the sim. Here's a similar example from another story I did just recently. I took two separate pictures taken just seconds apart. I deleted part of the second picture, like so and placed it on a layer above the first picture. By saving the camera position, it looks like part of the same picture. Other controls for the TAB camera; Q / E - moves camera Lower / Higher W / S - moves camera Forward / Backward A / D - moves camera Left / Right Z / X - zooms camera In / Out <Shift> + (any of those) - moves faster <Ctrl> + .... W / S - pivots camera Up / Down A / D - pivots camera Left / Right Additional notes; If you have saved camera positions, pressing just <5> will slowly pan from the current position to the saved one (useful for videos). You can also use the saved cameras for regular gameplay, if you want to jump from the back of your house to the front, and back again (for example). @carlfatal Impressive looking build, as usual. ? 2
mrrakkonn Posted March 13, 2021 Posted March 13, 2021 Had a go at a couple more of these. Results vary but it is fun to do. edit: I think I managed a better one for Linnie (bottom-left) 15
