In other news, I've completed my updated makeover of the Goth household. CAS pics in the spoiler below:

Elegant, gloomy, edgy, rich as hell, all these things have been said to describe the Goth family. But there're issues within this household that the public could've never imagined. Let's take a closer look.

 

Mortimer, known for his literary works in the gothic romance and horror genres, has always kept a low profile. He despises interviews, hates conventions, and relegates all fan emails to his spam folder. The only way anyone can gleam any sense of his personality is by reading his books. If they are any indication of who he is, then he is a deeply disturbed individual.

 

Bella, the more upbeat of the couple, is more open to the public; regularly hosting upscale dinner parties at their house as well as directing charity events at their local park. She's never one to shy away from a friendly chat with her neighbors or sit down for a sip of tea with her friends. She's even known to strike up conversations with people she previously hadn't known just because, in her own words, "they seemed like they could use some company." But there are instances where Bella will seemingly disappear for long periods of time. Where she goes and what she does is a mystery to everyone, even her own family.

 

Cassandra was never that good at making friends, so she turned to music for comfort. Over time, comfort grew to interest, and interest grew into passion, and now she spends a majority of her time filling her room with the bittersweet bowing of her violin. Despite her hesitation towards outward displays of emotion, one need only to listen to her songs to know how she's feeling.

 

As for Alexander, he just can't decide what he wants out of life. He could never go more than a month before he dropped one interest or hobby for another. One of Bella's friends once opined that although he had a bright mind, his lack of focus would eventual send him down a path of unfulfillment and spiritual emptiness. His mother is certain that her friend was being melodramatic, but neither she nor her husband can shake the feeling that their son's behavior may lead to an onset of depression within the following years.

 

Will this family ever break through their dreariness, or are they doomed to forever be trapped under an endless layer of gray clouds?

Bella and Morty look both very classy in their reds and blacks, while Cassie and Alex are (appropriately) in the full goth mode. I really like a lot of the individual details too - like Bella's jewelry and makeup, Morty's eye wrinkles and facial hair and the offspring's piercings and jewelry. I was never into the whole goth girl style, but Cassandra does look pretty amazing (awesome glasses, too!). ?

Celine: "I'm... I'm Celine. Are you hungry? I just wanted to make some Cheese-Ham-Sandwiches for all of us."

Gina: "Yes, I haven't really eaten anything today."

 

 

Gina: "So, who are you? Like, what's your Story, why are you here?"

Alexandra: "Name's Alexandra Tyrone, Nice to meet you, Gina. I'm mostly here for Parties. Like, I wanna have some fun in my early years and not care about Career or anything like that until I'm 25."

Arabella: "I'm Arabella Rehnskiöld. I mostly hope to get to know more People from High Society. Frederick sure knows some Rich People, and maybe I can... Get some Advantages by that. But in that way, I think I kinda belong here somehow. So, what about you?"

Gina: "Eh, a mix of both I guess. I love Sucking Dicks, but I also want to collect some Money for Moving out of my Parents' House."

 

 

Gina (to Arabella): "So... What's with her?"

Arabella: "That's Celine. She's here to pay for University."

Alexandra: "She... has some problems with the more... physical aspects of Living here. I think she even has a Boyfriend and struggles with the thought of Cheating on him."

 

 

Gina: "How's Everyday Life going on here? Are there some specific rules?"

Alexandra: "Nothing very special. Fred never leaves the House, so he gives out Shopping Lists for us from Time to Time, but we don't have to wipe his ass or something like that. He's pretty fit I think, you can tell from... Well, the Sex."

Arabella: "Once a few Months he invites some Friends for a Party... He fucks all of us, but that's where you can really shine. If you entertain him and his friends good enough, he will treat you better than everyone else for some time."

 

 

Celine: "Don't forget the Single Sessions."

Arabella: "Come on, stop it. There's nothing special or uncanny about the Single Sessions."

Gina: "Single Sessions?"

Celine: "Yeah... Every few days, he takes one of us into his Bedroom... We... wake up there the next morning... And can't remember what happened..."

Alexandra: "Celine, I... wanna believe you, but you're the only one who doesn't remember what happens in the Single Sessions..."

Celine: "I am wasting my time. I will go watch some Television. I hope you can make yourself comfortable, Gina. Nice to meet you."

 

The rest of the day goes on eventless until the Evening.

 

 

Gina: "Where's Celine? Doesn't she want to go to sleep now?"

Arabella: "Probably in a Single Session. I don't really know what's her problem. Similar to the Parties, It's an opportunity to present yourself better to Fred... But... Speaking of Sex... What would you say about an... 'Introduction Ritual', Gina?"

Alexandra: "Yeah... Good Idea, Bella..."

Gina: "Well, I can't turn down a Pyjama Party with two seductive Ladies like you..."

 

 

Meanwhile, in Frederick's room...

 

 

Frederick: "Celine, I think you... Might need a lesson. Don't think I didn't hear you revealing the Details of these little... Meetings of us to our new flatmate... So... you know the deal... First fucking, then sucking..."

 

 

 

 

Celine: "Does... the Biting really have to be?"

Thanks a lot! It's nice to be back too and things are slowly becoming a bit easier with a bit more privacy at last ? I really love my new pic too! ? Although I struggle with resizing images and retaining the clarity ?

 

Its a little bit overwhelming with so much to catch up with but I'm especially grateful for the hardware upgrade which has also removed a lot of limitations for me ?

The eyes are not mine and I've had them in my mod folder for quite some time. I think they might be by Lunenore - they use them in their blood elf pics (and they also have bunch of other Warcraft stuff such as draenei). I was not able to find a download link for them on the site (and the name of the file is not exactly helpful), so here goes:

The glow is actually photoshopped, sorry to disappoint. ? I have briefly tried to add the emission layer to them, but it did not work for some reason and I did not want to spend too much time on an effect which would be fairly subtle and still not ideal (as it would not properly illuminate the surrounding area). The eyes do look pretty good in the game even without the glow though. Here's a comparison pic (left - no glow, right - the photoshopped glow):

 

 

She is wearing a faint green eyeshadow which probably helps a little too.
