I'm not opposed to starting a new creature/episode or even a breeding scenario with humans. If you can keep the initial idea simple, like what I did with the coyotes, then I can focus on more of the fun stuff.

KainsChylde Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Someone (perhaps a Red Lucy type) is trying to breed SMs for fighting purposes. Maybe a rogue NCR type, or a Legion operative. In-game, no one knows a lot about SMs. All that's known for certain is that they used to be human. So this guy (or girl, lets not discriminate) is experimenting randomly. Since you've got scientists covered, make them the child of a rancher, testing out dads selective breeding methods.

Some didn't follow the other to find a cure and maybe they became schizophrenic enough, to think they could breed with human females to raise their numbers and maybe even to breed hybrids that are immune to the stealthboy side effects.

Though I like the idea of incorporating nightkins, if not only just for the variety. I'm not opposed to adding some sort of hybrid, or next step of evolution cross over if you can find a proper monster resource from either a FO3 or NV modder's resource. basically suggestions need to include setting, cause, and method. A small underground slave town where they keep their breeding stock might be fun to make.

[/quote'] I would like to suggest a cave scenario featuring giant ants (located around the ivanpah racetrack). They would gather a large amount of females due to the nearby roads being used by traders and caravans(There queen has become sterile due to radiation from nearby leaking barrels and the player and npcs get the job as replacement breeders. you could even have the player get there very own rideable ant the player could ride it or it could ride the player.)

( A large open cave with a few females some restrained against the wall being bred by cazadors, and others laying around unconsious in various stages of pregnancy. Your sent in to rescue some ncr members or farmers their families or a loved one)you could place it near the tribal village. (have the pc fall though some loose sand or dirt by or in one of the tents into the cave like in the bloatfly episode.)

They have a limited population, so I guess kidnapping wastelanders to use as baby factories would be uh, "sensible." An underground shantytown where slaves hollow out space for future bunkers nearby might be workable. I guess you could always throw in a rogue group of nightkin in some nearby tunnels and make a faction dynamic out of it with nightkin and brotherhood at odds, and let the player sneak around and decide who to breed with. So, nightkin and humans I guess. But you said you wanted simple? Um.

I'd assume that most of the BOS would not be on board for forcible wastelander abduction or the increased attention it might bring them. So you'd have a splinter faction acting for the continued good of the bro'hood, with the basic aim of making stray wastelanders help increase their population. Probably you'd be approached by a shady brotherhood scout, in disguise, with a standard fetch quest for the courier ("deliver this package"). On arrival at some cave or other you'd be surprised and subdued. You'd wake up in a brotherhood compound. Maybe a doctor's exam with other candidates, followed by insemination? You'd live in a cell in the Brotherhood compound, until you had a certain number of offspring, at which point you move outside the bunker with the rest of the disused breeders. Maybe you'd have your underground slave town/work camp where the player would either service/be sold to a bunch of dubious mercenaries for cheap or do hard labor for the brotherhood and satisfy the guards, before escaping. Is this p. much what you were asking for?

They are not in vanilla FONV, so immersion won't be affected. But no matter what, i like the inital idea of Kissinger. His second post, on the other hand, would fit none of the factions. Not the BoD nor the Outcasts. i'm working on a slave manager feature for my mod (selling, buying) that should include the player (as slave and slaver) and it's a hell lot of work as unforseen problems arised, with this concept. Right now, my base solution (if he wants to include this feature) is to have a hardcoded number of slave cells and a hardcoded number for the slaves in it. So if slaves are deliverd (by no matter who), old ones have to be sold (last in FormList). Good thing about the formlist: The lower the index of the NPC, the newer, the more expensive (almost random base price / index + 1 [avoids devide by zero]). Still: A lot of work.

So keep the ideas flowing. This will be far the most techy episode so any ideas should try to take advantage of that fact.

As the Outcast is not present in vanila, why not have them come over to Nevada, contacting the BoS with an great idea on how to solve their lezzie/new born kids problem? Don't know if there are any more techy animations in ZAZ, than the ones used by Tryout Legion, but they would fit the "re-educate" lezzie aspect. Another idea: An modded power armor, that's locked to the females and tries to impregnate them until they are finally pregnant. (Don't know where that idea came from ^^)

I'm also wondering if they wouldn't want to breed something to use as shock troops. Some sort of creatures maybe. maybe that's where the intelligent deathclaws came from? Just thoughts. That'd give the player some variety. Since I want you to be able to turn in your offspring kids (if only to "get rid of them") but I don't want to add kids to a sex mod, I think I'll handle it by implying they're in another inaccessible portion of the facility. Still need thoughts on how the episode would be handled over all though, Keeping them locked in a compartment with no escape is a bit too similar to what we've already done. I wonder if them giving you training and conscripting you wouldn't be more interesting. Maybe offer a few roles, light fighter, heavy fighter, medic? So you can integrate into their unit and live among them if you accept it, or when you're not out and doing missions you can stay in one of their cozy cells. Obviously if you resists they're not going to give you a weapon, that doesn't mean they can't still use you.

About the shock troopers: Does the steathing sound from the pipboy sound electric only to me? if not: why not choose them, as they are used to be electrified. And so comes the SM fact to the mod ... maybe. The idea still sounds a bit raw. Was thinking at first, that they capture fem's that wear the locked power armor, as w/e ised used to make the fem's breed faster with it equipped, atracts the SM's and they might be strong enough to rip the armor of the character. And the girls wearing the PA are the only ones allowed to wander around freely (let's the player enjoy the foreplay as long as he/she wants, until the decission for wearing the PA is made). Maybe because they are well protected or it just another "blow yout to pieces" equipped device if they wander off to far. And you could also let the kid's wander around with the player, as they are essential. A script to detect if the player shoots at them or asks unmoral question will simply disable the detectable god-mode (pedo's are cheaters) and kill them with fire... or w/e else. Just kill them instantly. Punishment has to take place. ^^
eviljanitor Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 Wouldn't the enclave remenants be a better group instead of the brotherhood outcasts after all they would be just as desperate with all there past losses againts the brotherhood of steel and the lone wanderer and they did at one point experiment with super mutants, nightkin and deathclaws.
