Tried the coyote episode - not working out well.

 

There are two supermutants that have spawned at the theatre, so they're in a gun battle with the Burns gang. I take the supermutants out, and the gang turns on me. Ahab and/or Jezebel rip out my throat, and I die.

 

I assume it is not meant to go down that way.

I don't know what to say as it's working for me. You talk to the offspring you want to turn in and choose [select to turn in]' date=' then talk to the mother (not the alpha) and choose [give pup']

 

Is anyone else having trouble turning in pups?

 

Ok found the cause of it. It was "samlltalk" it is beyond me why I haven't used "SmallerTalk" from beginning...

i read in the first post that after turning in some amount of puppies to Fenris there may be some random events that occur, how many puppies should it take to activate stuff?

Once you have 8 or 10 turned in your den is full. The last event is just a couple pups chasing each other around.

Huh, I have that same problem.

I'm sure some other mod I have is doing that, yes. Point is, should the gang be attacking me at all? Is it a fight I'm meant to lose, but survive? Or is there supposed to be some dialogue? Because neither seems to be occuring in my circumstances.

That almost looks like texture overload. I get solid black with too many mods adding new items to game, but I have never seen it quite like that. When you did the clean reinstall did you uncheck and recheck archive invalidation in FOMM? That sometimes helps on texture glitches.

No, you walk up to the pregnant girl and there'll be some dialogue.

No, you walk up to the pregnant girl and there'll be some dialogue.

 

Thought so - haven't seen any pregnant girl so far though.

 

I found that if I approach from the south the mutants don't seem to spawn, but the hostile gang still launches directly into me.

 

Oh well, I'll find some other amusements while I wait for things to develop in Riverside.

If the pregnant girl isn't there then something else is happening. Maybe that gang is being spawned by a mod and killing my gang.

its not my graphics card i dont have texture issues in any toher game or mod just with fenris D:

 

and im not using any kind of texture enhancing mod or supermutant mod

 

im trying ot reinstall my graphics drivers to see if it makes a difference i wil get back to you guys in a while :3

yes i unchecked and rechecked it and did not help tho id did fix the texture problem i had male characters o: the texture problem for male characters is unrelated to fenris they just had a black texture showing instean of skin but once i did archive invalidation that fixed itself btu fenris didnt get fixed

 

to mee after a lil research it looks like fenris's mesh is being loaded with out textures and if you look closely you can see right thru him 3:

for what ever reason my texture size was set to medium once i changed it to high BOO YA! !

ok so i got through the deathclaw scenario with little to no issues whatsoever,got the mutation and left the cave and went on with my business. decided a few hours later to try riverside. i went back to the cave, wasnt pregnant but the alpha treats me like im still a prisoner (i.e. tries to impregnate you every time it passes by) he has no dialog about a harem, its like he reverted back to before i killed it. any ideas besides removing breeder and trying the whole scenario again?

You have to speak with the Deathclaw Alpha in the queen's chamber, not the one in the original cave.

If I'm not mistaken you also have to have the Deathclaw Mutation, which you get from the Black Deathclaw upstairs in the Queen's chamber.

OH - you mean its a different gang entirely that I'm encountering? I bet its something added by New Vegas Bounties I or II then! Good, I'll just kill them off and not worry about it.

 

I'm thinking that any pregnant women are running away from what I've got going on at the drive-in, is that possible? Wouldn't blame them... perhaps tonight I'll fire up fnvedit, grab the refid, clear out the drivein and try to console her back in.

Every pregnancy gets me a pumpkin first, can we just get rid of the Halloween surprise entirely now?

The Hunter still doesn't get transported out of the wolf cave, and even with smaller talk set to allow animals, I get no relevant dialog from the den mother.

 

Kind of sounds like I'm running an older version than the new one, but I re-dowloaded it to be sure.

 

Also, am I supposed to get a message when I first give birth following the orgy in riverside? I may not have simply because a single pumpkin came out instead of a bunch of eggs though.

I've already removed the pumpkins for the next update. Unless the in game month is october. Are you getting any hunt dialogue with the hunter? It sounds like you haven't been accepted into the pack yet. Talk to the alpha coyote a few more times.

Okay, thanks for the egg clarification! But am I supposed to get a message after that birth though, or just go downstairs and toss them in the nest?

 

I guess the problem with the hunter is not being accepted to the pack. I spoke to the alpha and got the "better bring him meat" message, and I thought that was when I had to go hunt wit the hunter. Where do I go find the meat? Just any old meat? Speaking to the alpha further doesn't give me more dialog.
