LE is Legendary Edition, the 'E' as you have it is redundant.

True, but where else would you get that first E?

Also, so is calling the base patch USKP - which is doing basically the same thing. Could have easily been USP, or USRP(the same base convention as the Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn patches, given that the base game and DLCs all use compound words). Though again, I'm not too concerned.

MMG's point was that it only required one E.

You can do more or less what you want with abbreviations. Utd = united. MUFC = Manchester United Football Club; ManU; Man Utd; etc.

Remember the time he murdered errybody's reproccers with it and had T3NDO's angry SkyRe mob out en mass wi' pitchforks?

Good old days.

If I would *sigh* now... would that make me appear "old" ?

Just asking! Not implicating anything here!

Are we really going to argue semantics here? USLEEP is done (or abandoned, depending on your POV). Let's focus on what we need to do to fix it. Or un-fix what it fixed. Or fix what it never fixed or even broke itself.

It's called humour. You remember humour don't you? :classic_unsure:

What seems to me to be the most plausible reason: to avoid being overloaded with posts from users asking for answers ...

with comments closed?

In any case this is what was widely mentioned in a post made by alt3rnity that I had the opportunity to read some time ago, but unfortunately I can not find the corresponding thread despite my research on the subject. Hence my late intervention in this topic.
Think: a lot of users asking the same questions about how to arrange the different individual patches and requiring answers concerning the Load Order problems encountered while they add the USLEEP patch over, and this on multiple comment threads. "What can sometimes make hair stand on end", if you allow me the expression.

Just see how many times the same issues and questions reappear on LoversLab's Skyrim technical threads: I can not blame users asking for help - especially beginners because they need answers, more experienced members have the advantage of knowing the subject and are there to give them help, but many mistakes are made because people do not read or too succinctly all available documents and guides, besides do not take the time to read comments made by other users, unfortunately. It is true that the world of modding evolves quickly and some answers may be inaccurate or inappropriate, it is necessary to sort through all this, the most difficult for the novice being to be able to make a choice and to rely on comments from people deemed to be trusted.

i made a mod page for my unpatching: https://www.loverslab.com/files/file/5815-uslep-unpatch/

It's very nice of you and thank you for all the work you do. If you allow me to include it in the main post of the thread I would be honored to share your link.
