More Nasty Critters Special/Anniversary Edition

This is for VR SKYRIMVR reguarding JContainers (Easy to search right?)

Indeed, as the first post said, JContainers VR v4.1.13 does not work
However there is no JContainers VR v4.1.12, and JContainers SE v4.1.12 does not work either.
There IS a JContainers VR v4.1.2 and that version seems to allow this Framework to work.

I do not know if the instructions were a quick typo error (It's not a far cry between v1.12 and v4.1.2) or if there was a previously available JContainers VR that is no longer available.

So it's been a while since ive modded skyrim, is this mod and its guide for the latest patch or the og 1.5.97 of special edition

there are no dll files in this version of mnc so it does not matter.

the install guide is a bit out of date, EG: you need to install the "Address Library" for sexlab & a few other mods to work.

Spoiler

( also it's not even possible to manually install mods in the GOG version of skyrim, so MO2 becomes a must have )

Hi, I'm new to modding skyrim and I'm running SE version. I installed MNC but I'm having a hard time understanding what to do with the  ModCompatibilityKitsForMNCSEv15_3 folder. I try to run a basic import and install through MO2 but it is giving me an error popup that states that the content of <data> does not look valid. I read somewhere that this is not an installer package but rather it requires manual installment. How do I go about installing these compatibility kits and are they even necessary?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

They are patches. Meant to be individually installed if I understand correctly.

Okay, but I am a lvl 9000 dummy. I have no clue how to do what you just described.

Then you probably don't need to try to do anything with that file honestly. Just save it if you want and move on. Hope that helps.

if there was something inside it that you needed, you would extract the needed files/folders from the 7zip and then repack them into a new 7zip that you would then install.

@MadMansGun I'm looking for some assistance in making some more female werewolf animations. I have all the tools required (I'm using Blender), but the whopping total of 2 animation-making tutorials that I've found on this website (so far) seem to be geared towards human animations, not creature animations. The one for Blender in particular was made in 2017 (if I recall). There's a serious lack of female werewolf fun-time animations, and I'm aiming to correct that, but I'm essentially starting with nothing but the desire to make them. I'd like to use some of the anims in this mod as a starting point, and then make additional ones. If I can get the hang of it effectively enough, I plan on making... idk, 30 of them? But I only need assistance in making 1 and implementing it into the game; I can probably figure out the rest on my own.

also this may or may not be helpful

https://github.com/Frosferes2/SkyRig

there may be other files on the skyfurry discord, and they may know other blender things i'm not aware of.

and somewhere baddog has a blender plugin

Thanks for that! Ima give these a good college try. I also located the Baddog Blender plugin you mentioned. Unfortunately, I can't accept the invite to Skyfurry's Discord for whatever reason, but between what I've been learning and the stuff you linked, I might just have exactly what I need. I will need a LOT of help with the scripting stuff (i.e., linking the animations to Sexlab hooks, and configuring hdt/smp crap), but that'll be later.

for now it's only SLAL you would need to worry about (after you make a animation that is)

try doing a export test first before you try to do anything serious, make a t post and have the arms&legs moving in&out / up&down

the fastest way to test it in game would be to replace "ww_idlebase.HKX" and "ww_idlebasecombat.HKX" in "Data\Meshes\actors\werewolfbeast\animations", that way you just have to look at a werewolf to see if it worked or not.

also when it come to your real/serious animaton export it as a LE animation first, then convert (a copy of) it to SE afterwards with Cathedral Assets Optimizer

(we can't convert SE animations back to LE, that means if you export it as SE it will always be for SE)

I try to use this Flame Astronach skin: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/100066?tab=description

But when I summon them with Hentai Creatures spell, they have vanilla skin. Is there any way to fix that? Do I have to edit something?

your load order i guess. stock mnc does not have Flame Astronach armor edits in it, just a edited mesh in the original file location that any mod should be able to replace.

The werewolf summoned with HENTAI immediately becomes a female at the beginning of the XX action. Even deleting the skin and bones of female werewolves in MNC is not enough. Can someone help to see what's going on?

And with the werewolf in the game, XX also immediately becomes a female. It should be that the SEXlab has used the skin of this female werewolf as the default werewolf skin. Which great deity will give some guidance on how to handle it?

.

go to the Creature Framework MCM and click on "Re-register all mods", then unpause the game and Wait a Minute.

Thanks once again for the advice. You're saying pretty much what I've been thinking. The first few anims I make are really just so I can understand how to do it; I can dig into the minutiae and strive for that ever-so-elusive mistress called perfection once I have a better understanding of what I'm doing.

Now, I DO have another question: I don't even have LE, I just have oldrim without the DLC's (not paying for basically the same shit twice). I'm pretty sure oldrim is fine, but just to alleviate any and all confusion on my part, do I need LE or will oldrim with no DLC's suffice? I've been using SE for so long that I kind of forget some of the modding rules for oldrim.

Once my anims are complete (whenever the hell that will be), I definitely plan on uploading them here so others can enjoy them. In fact, ahead of time, I even give you first dibs at adding them to MNC if you want. But that's for later; first I have to make them.

Also, a bit of forewarning: I SUUUUCK at scripting. It's like trigonometry; you either get it or you don't, and I'm the latter. So when it comes to getting them up and running in SLAL, I'm going to need all the help I can get.

you don't need it at all, just make LE hkx files and convert copys of them to SE for your own use/testing, that way you will have files available for both games for those that need it. (eg: me if you need me to look at something)

(also most of us do our work in LE because we have no choice, we use 3ds max 2010 or 12 and it does not have any SE compatible nif plugin files available)

so do i, but even with learning disabilities i was still able to figure it out (you will need to install python3(any version of v3) before you can run the SLAnimGenerateForMNC.pyw that turns the source txt into usable things, also you will need to run fnisformodders.exe on the fnislist txt files that will be generated by SLAnimGenerateForMNC.pyw)

but worry about making a animation first before thinking about any SLAL integration.

I'm more than likely doing something wrong but whenever I try to start an animation with a male werewolf, the player animation runs fine but the werewolf itself seems stuck in masturbation animation.
