The old Sexiles mod is dead yes! It doesn't work with the latest build! But yes,  they are Updating/Making new Sexiles mod! It takes time of course. Like modding usually does! So be patient and just wait! If u want to keep updated about what is going on I suggest you get Discord and follow them!

I second this request, I would like very much to get a pulse on what is happening with this new version WIP.

 

Unfortunately I never got the change to try the old version, but From what I understand there was a lot of features that are I miss in the current mods available

Many thanks! unfortunately from a first glance it seems that there hasn't been any news on development in quite some time, but Its good to have the link!

 

Its too bad I did not have the chance to play it before it stopped working. I really liked the aspect of being able to lock restrains on captured player and to "force animation" .

Somehow the RP experience its not the same for me i I need to tie myself up and can just remove anything without any trouble at all

So I logged onto Discord to check on the status, apparently the mod was taken by somebody who said that was going to work on it in the future but had it "on the back of the list"...

 

Which is mod dev for "it's dead and abandoned". Just in case somebody else comes and wants to check but doesn't have a Discord account or doesn't want to open one. Maybe in the future somebody could cook something up, I'm still learning UE4, but hope for this is pretty much lost now.

 

I wonder how hard could it be to just use the same janky animations and add the Siptah compatibility and leave the rest "as is" but apparently some people were having issues with that.

 

I really wish you could roll back your Conan Exiles version...I was having a blast before Siptah blew everything up.

i think found the old sexiles mod.pk file version 2.2.2 on my pc from 2018.

i am not sure if that is the right file... as i cant test it right now... and it would probably also need a older conan exiles version from 2018 to even work.

i played with the mod right before the animal tame system came out so its should be working on a version before the animal taming stuff started.

 

maybe its of any use for anyone who tried to get this mod working again or makes a new version of it or can salvage animations from it or i dont know...

 

would it be okay to post it here as the mod is "abandoned" ?

well i just attach the file to this, maybe someone has a use for it or can try it out if they find a old conan version.

I believe none of the current authors worked on original Sexiles mod. Corintio perhaps as the only exception, could be wrong though.

SlaverMod has support for thralls and it works pretty well.

So what is the news with the Sexiles mod? I havn't kept up with it since I didn't join discord. Is it now dead, or did it slip into a paywall? I am pretty sure more than enough time has passed for a Revamped version of it, or at least the very basic set up working mod for the revamp.
