There are several reasons for errors in the new CK.

One thing is that the sources scripts have been moved from scripts/source to source/scripts.

Another thing is that the new CK makes a lot more checks and complains about thing the Beth did not correct on the way from Skyrim LE to SE.

There are also a lot of complaints about wrong letters, if you use a different language. (I ususally end up with something about 7000 notifications)

Ah, k. So i should just ignore them?

Also, i'm told that to convert mods is enough to open them up in the CK and then save them with the new creation kit. Does it work for scripted ones as well, or is there a more complex procedure for them?

I'm not a frind of resaving...

Simple scripts will work without putting a hand on it, Version checks have to be checked, if they work with the SE versions of the mods they check. You also have to look if there are any meshes or animations in the mods, you try to port, because they need to be converted to work in SSE. Textures have to be checked if they are scaled propely and have the right formats. They usually do, but if you run into CTD's in certain areas or if you get closer to an specific NPC it is usually a bad nif or a good nif with a bad texture.

currently trying it now. Yes there are a few bugs (expected since it is the first release and a rework of the original) and I have not tested for sex scenes yet. I will be testing soon tho.

Edit: some of the sex scenes work and some do not... the camera is not always attached to the player's head during scenes so it is kind of weird. Archery in first person does not work well unless you disable the first person arms (which usually messes up melee combat when you have third person animations installed)  riding on horseback is nauseating with the violent motion atm (keep in mind I expect many of these issues to be fixed within the next couple of days), and it does not have support for 360 degree walking and running animations (camera spazzes out briefly and repeatedly when running backward using one of those packs).

TLDR: All in all, it is a bit buggy but that is to be expected the day it came out on nexus. Give it time, Meh321 does good work.

Has anyone tried it? I've read that there are some bugs, but does it work with the sex scenes?

As I can report not very well at the moment. Perhaps some tweaks in the Config data IFPV.config.txt can help.

I find modifying the nearclip values and the baseoffset Y values help improve the sexlab experience a fair bit. I still can't seem to get it as good as an oldrim config I had tho. Still getting body parts becoming partly invisible when extremely close to the camera (although less so with the above changes).

So I had a few tweaks (and some other things) done. The settings which influence sex scenes the most, I think are the Position/RotationFromHead, which when set to "1" lock your view to the character's head. Followed by the "NearClip" settings, I found some really strange issues with shadows and flickering when setting this to 0, but this is only really visible in exteriors, so unless you do more nature sex than indoor sex I recommend keeping the "NearClipExterior" settings as is (or even higher maybe).

Then there's the "stabilizer" settings, these "correct" your head position during gameplay I think, but during kinky-time it makes your camera shake like you're getting possessed in a horror movie. I set these to big numbers (over 100) and that seems to have stopped the head-shaking most of the time. Not related to sex-scenes, I turned "AlwaysForceAutoTurn" to "true" for easier gamplay.

Now I mentioned "RotationFromHead", this I think has a pretty big impact since it matches your view with your character's, so if your character's facing upside-down for example, your first-person camera will match that, this makes sex scenes much more immersive and also reduces clipping caused by mismatched views. Only problem is that, it's literally impossible to actually play the game like this due to the ridiculous amounts of head-bob and head movement that come from your character's animation. Hopefully meh will address this in the future.

Until then though, I made some of my own 'advanced' tweaks. In the config file, there's two settings called "Custom profile keyword" and "Custom profile magic effect keyword", so what they do apparently, is when they detect a certain keyword, this special "passenger" profile activates and automatically sets your Position/RotationFromHead to "1", meaning that you could play the game normally, and when you want to have some fun you can activate this "Passenger profile" so things look good when your character's going at it too. So, I made this quick and dirty mod to test it out and guess what, it works! Only, not entirely, while it does what it says on the tin, it also disables camera movement, so you basically can't move your camera around when this is activated, so it's basically useless for sexy time then.

Naturally, I did what any sensible person would do, I downloaded the source-code and modified the passenger code to only trigger the 'RotationFromHead' and leave camera movement free. Recompiled that, and it works as intended.

Honestly it still has a lot of issues, it's probably best to wait a bit until Meh fixes the biggest problems. Otherwise, if you can't wait, you'll have to do a lot of tweaking, and probably have to go the extra mile and make your own adjustments, complementary mods and maybe even dig in the source code if you're feeling brave.

I forgot I disabled looking around while passenger profile is active. Will fix that and allow pos/rot multiplier to be separately configured for that profile. I did intend this profile to be used for SL but I didn't know what the keyword used is and some other mods may want to use it as well so I left it empty.

It is probably best to use stabilize settings for the profile instead of purely 1.0 rotation because it is too uncomfortable to look. I'll include those as well separately configurable and with v3 you guys can try what the best configuration ends up. I don't have any SL stuff installed right now and it's a matter of preference anyway. If you need some other settings separately for that profile let me know.

I just noticed you released V2, congratz !.

Tbh I was testing using FlowerGirls since SL's a rabbit hole I'm not sure I have time to go down on. There's also OSA's OSEX I have installed but not tested that yet. (but that's low priority vs SL & FG).

Anyway, thanks for the tips on the stabilizer, I'm still trying to find some good settings to "marry" gameplay ease together with immersive-ness (or POV sex in this case), and yeah now that you mentioned it, it does seem kinda jarring.

The only suggestion, if possible without too much headache, would be to activate the passenger profile via a configurable hotkey, it would act as a compatibility feature for mods that don't make use of keywords, and can be utilized with mods that generally fall outside the intended purpose (like pose, emote & other general animation mods).

Thanks for your work though.

Halfway done rewriting the list. I've discovered that the Contributor status gives some privileges when it comes to posting that I fully intend to make use of. Not exactly decided yet on what to do, bouncing between a couple ideas...

I really like the new layout. Kudos, sir.

Nothing special. I wanted an avatar so I could distinguish my posts from others when browsing quickly through threads, but didn't want to go through any effort to create one. So I took the default and flipped it.

they are one and the same now....since HCOSV1.0

Hmm. Yes, indeed they are.

edit: Ah yes, I just remembered why I did that. While they have been combined, for whatever reason I think I decided to list both HCOS and HD separately - with the same link, since this was back when HCOS didn't have a port. One of the main purposes of this list has always been to try to be Ctrl+F-able for particular mods (why I include acronyms and aliases), so someone searching for HD could find it. Nowadays I would just link HCOS and then say something like "includes Horny Dragons" so that mod's name would still be somewhere on the page.

Hey there,

I ported ScocLB for SE: Ported Files

I couldn't test it, though another guy pointed out it worked for him.

Doesn't look like there was anything particularly tricky there?
