dcitrigno Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 I am also looking for a particular Mod or mods as Beeing female hasn't been converted , SKSE64 has gone main stream for quite a few months now. so this really should have be dealt with, along with Sexlab Zzz. Right now i'm just having a hard time finding a mod that will allow me to self trigger sex animations (aside from going into the frame work and using the test function.) P.S. I'm aware that Beeing female has nothing to do with triggering sex acts but i added it because it's my favorite preg/cycle mod, i've not had much luck with either Hentai Preg mod or the others something about faction or something, possibly don't have a required mod.
pugwash99 Posted December 26, 2018 Posted December 26, 2018 Trying to get Beastess working atm, I've managed to get up to the spider quest but at that point I've run out of animations. I've converted all the animations and it's working the the SE versions of sexlab, creatureframework and more nasty critters. I didn't convert the esp files though but the follower works. Still glitches in the same way the old one did, sometimes you won't be able to talk to the creature and you have to reload a save and clear anything nearby.

Merry fucking Christmas to me. i have played with paradise halls hsh for about 18hr so far with little issues.. i dont know if this issue is with hsh or another mod but when i choose im going to f*ck you i get teleported to a random spot in the air then fall to my death after animation finishes

Instead of getting the right position, it ports you to 0/0/0 in the world map, or something like that. Had it on my LE install for a while.

Probably 99% of those mods are actually fine to convert, I just haven't had confirmation of it. I may go through and consider the simple mods (ESPs and scripts) good and save the questionable status for the more complicated ones (like with meshes and textures). If you mean converting and uploading here on LL, that's a trickier issue. It's mostly about the original author's rights: they need to give permission for someone to convert and upload, be that implicitly or explicitly. Then there's a question about how to handle abandoned mods. It's all a gray area, so for the most part people who want SSE versions are converting for themselves so there isn't much demand for an "official" port.

Some need the usual converting steps (if the come with animations and meshes) easy thing to do. Some need a bit of scripting knwledge to get them running, And some need a complete rework. This is the technical part. I got most of the mods that I wanted to work within the limitations of SE. It is learning by doing. But what ever you have to do with a mod to get it going, you better don't expect much help from the authors. Uploading is somethig different. Some authors don't want their mods to be ported. They have their reasosns, if they say 'no' you have to accept it. Some are out of buisness and there whereabouts are unknown. You have to ask the admins if they declare the mod as abbandonned if you want to upload a conversion within the permissions the authors have stated... if there are any... Some want to do the port themselves. If it will take time until they ready to do so. Don't be pushy, this will not help anybody. And some are ok with a port, but want to be in control over the files. This will not make things easy, if the mod is still in development. And if you have a port and you are allowed to release it, you have to do the support for it. This is very time consuming.

Still have the same glitches with some of the animals though and the quest mod I think causes SE to fail to start if installed, atleast it does for me. The follower also works but I didn't use an optimized head as when I loaded it in nifscopesse it looked corrupted so restored the original. I also had to install and enable Pfiffy's conversion of Billy's slal animations as I couldn't get some captures to work without them, But I haven't tried the sneak animation. I'll reinstall it with all the options except slavetats. I'm also using the beastess patch. I generally don't resave the esp files though. The two rerefences are in the code that handles translation and ini files. No idea if it will be compatible with current saves though as I don't use it. It won't handle esl files either.
Zinnister Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 Huh, you know I stepped through the Langeston guide for dumbies again with the Beastess Patch esp added in and now it just flat won't work. FNIS shows it as Beastess V0.1 and doesn't throw errors, but Vortex refuses to boot it up at all anymore. Although, I guess a question I have is, are you repacking it as a BSA or keeping it a ESP? I've left mine as an ESP, but will step through it again as a BSA if thats important....

The esp is required always or the mod won't be active. The LE bsa needs to be extracted to the loose files (these are meshes, textures, etc), whether you create a new bsa in the SE format or keep it loose is up to you. I typically leave everything loose. Can't help with the patches for beastess, I play it without them. I don't care about the sneak animation and I figure the estrus charus patch is horribly out of date with the current EC version and would do more harm than good. Same with the vampire patch. I may throw slave tats back in now that it's working. The most trouble I've had is with talking to a creature for a quest. The problem there is a known one due to having untamed installed too.

I don't know if he will post it. I didn't get the jc check to work so in my actual version it is marked out. I still need some feedback on the TDF add-on I made. It should work on both: SE and oldrim. Zarantha and Jesseg have worked out HDT SMP cpmpatible xml's for the broken DD stuff, We need some additional feedback on them, too. You can find the actual version in the HDT-SMP thread. For me it is very important to know how the models behave if SMP is NOT installed.

One thing is that the sources scripts have been moved from scripts/source to source/scripts. Another thing is that the new CK makes a lot more checks and complains about thing the Beth did not correct on the way from Skyrim LE to SE. There are also a lot of complaints about wrong letters, if you use a different language. (I ususally end up with something about 7000 notifications)
