BS, the final project with ideally all the regions, will not be coming to LE. As far as I can tell, nothing beyond Bruma was planned for LE due to severe technical limitations with LE, and even the small mods that WERE planned for LE are getting cut for the same reason. 25 minutes ago, PussieTepulus said: Beyond Skyrim cannot make both after Burma. If it were, then they would continue to support LE. Their official reasoning for ending LE support past BS Bruma has been technical limitations with the game, and from what I've seen, the game struggles even on decent hardware on LE within Bruma alone, while these same issues do not exist on SE, or are severely less impacted. LE will forever be limited to ~3GB of RAM, which alone is a "solvable" problem. Everything else, you are entirely on your own to solve and absolutely no one is likely to help backport the mod.

Vortex does not do the Generate FNIS for User properly. I see you're still spreading misinformation. This only happens if you don't correctly set up FNIS Integration within Vortex. Works great if you set it up correctly. There is a wiki on how to do it. Running LOOT on an existing playthru is a sure way to destroy your subsequent savegames. Mods out of alignment with the memory locations loaded from previous savegame have to reinitialize in their new location, so their original data gets lost, and the game in memory and any savegames you make from here on are going to be "corrupt". Never let your load order shift after you start playing. New mods should always go at the bottom for their type (full and light plugins). If you don't do this, track down Fallrim Tools Resaver to clean your saves...and hope the damage isn't irrevocable. This is how quests get bugged, MCM menus disappear or break, etc. Disaster doesn't always happen, but this is a risky move to be taking. Worst case is you start a new game with the new order and move along. There are really 3 load order concepts in Skyrim SE. Skyrim LE has only 1. The first is for all the plugins as a whole (top to bottom), the next is for "full" plugins, and the last is for "light" plugins. A top to bottom load order is what most everyone is referring to when they discuss the topic. Full plugins are those plugins that load between 00 and FD memory locations. Skyrim LE lives only in this paradigm. These are the non-ESL named/flagged plugins (.esm, .esp). Light plugins are anything ending with .ESL (these load in the ESM range at the top), and ESM/ESP's with the ESL flag (referred to as ESPFE). .ESLs and ESPFEs all fit in the FE memory range, but also have their own relative load order that should be maintained. Think of Full and Light like 2 halves of a deck of cards. When you shuffle them together, each group still has an unchanged sequence that can be examined independently and remains intact even though the top to bottom load order has changed. If you separate the 2 halves of the deck again, while keeping the original placement of each half, you can reshuffle for a new top to bottom load order and the savegame memory locations for both types would remain in alignment with the savegame with no damage done. Changing a top to bottom load order will still effect the final game behavior, so don't needlessly make macro-level order changes without considering what you're trying to solve. If you alter one or the other full/light orderings, however, you are introducing potential damage to subsequent savegames. Scripted mods should never be moved within their sort type (full or light). Every mod added to a spot other than the bottom shifts the load order of every mod of its type below it downwards by 1, changing the memory alignment of all of them in the process. This makes new .ESL's and .ESMs (and those flagged as ESM) very dangerous to add to existing saves. 1
TurboGodzilla Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 So just to confirm this doesnt work with Skyrim VR and Vortex right? So theres no way to have sex anymore in VR? I saw there was a mod called Lovers Comfort but it depends on this and another dead mod and theres no way to get it to run, everything is decrepit and outdated. Never instructions for Vortex only for alternative modders. Nobody really explains if Skyrim VR is supposed to be SE or AE and theres no real way to get good solid instructions. I tried following the instructions to the letter and after running FNIS all the characters just froze. At least let us know it doesnt work on Skyrim VR in the warnings to not waste our time.

I don't know much about the VR version of the game, but the fact that it uses a different SKSE version makes it incompatible with any mod that has DLLs that also don't have a VR variant already. Ashal doesn't have any VR gear, nor the game, if I remember past comments on the matter, so not much of anything has been done in that direction with Sexlab. You might be able to get Sexlab Light to function in VR? It doesn't have any DLL component, but it's an old mod and I'm not sure how compatible it is with other mods that rely upon Sexlab. Maybe we need to start a gofundme campaign to buy Ashal the hardware and game?

Thank you that could be what I was after. Anything similar like that. Flowergirls started out as just another NPC mod, but morphed quickly into a stand-alone framework. There is no interplay between it and Sexlab. They don't share assets in any way. Has its own animation packs, etc. The animation files are the same, but the way they are installed/used is different. Flowergirls is the only one I've seen with any reference to VR, but then I haven't been looking. OSA/OSEX is another framework that might be possible, but I didn't find any VR references on my cursory scan. OSA/OSEX has just had a revival. The original mod author has returned and is working on things. There is another similar to OSEX framework called OpenSex (both on nexus). I didn't see any references to VR compat on OpenSex either, but you might drop into their discussions and see if there are any plans in that direction. 1

If pausing helps then you're probably running with too many script-heavy mods for your computer. See if you can change mod settings to reduce how often they need to do their work, like increasing time intervals and decreasing search ranges, but otherwise you might have to start thinking about some mods you can live without. 1

Check your Vortex FNIS settings- there is an option box where you specify the FNIS options you want (Gender-Specific Animations, Skeleton Arm Fix and if you have it installed, Archery Gameplay Overhaul) when Vortex auto-runs GenerateFNISforUsers.exe after any Deployment involving FNIS-dependent mods (I'm assuming here that you have Vortex's "FNIS Integration" enabled- if not, consider enabling it). EDIT/UPDATE: I see that @4nk8rgave you a much more comprehensive response, going way beyond just FNIS Integration. Edited January 20, 2022 by Vyxenne Because great minds think alike 1

tejano2828 Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 Just a quick question about "registry" I have 759 animations when I last checked but I feel like not all of them are playing eventhough most are enabled. I have added some new animations mods in the last 3 weeks. Do I need to rebuild the registry? in order for them to work?
