Siegmeyer's UUNP Workshop - Bodyslide Conversions

Hi Sig.. I was hoping that you could work your magic on this set. It's uunp but has no sliders at all. I was intrigued by one of the textures which I predictably edited along with the mesh's alpha properties for dress5. My woman had a dress like that once and thought about bringing it back for old times sake.. Cheers

I second this request.  I've been struggling to convert this one myself.  I would be very appreciative if you could offer some help with it, Sig.

Thanks! but its for the v1.0 and it doesnt contain the other outfits like leggins.

I don't know if any other version ever had Bodyslide support added to them by the author or any other users. I'll check my own files to see if they already exist or if I added anything myself for personal use. If not, it might help to open the outfits up in Outfit Studio to see how difficult the conversion process might be.

Okay, there was one for version 1.1. I'll look over the other files to see what can be done.

Nope, v1.1 should be the last version with Bodyslide support AFAIK. The BS sets were pretty crappy, and I thought it would be better to have the meshes fit a single body shape right than having them fit all of UUNP's shapes but be sub-par.

That being said, if anyone wants to make a Bosyslide conversion of the latest version of the mod, feel free to do so.

Alright, that'll save me time on looking for something that doesn't exist then.

I'll have to see if I can manage to properly copy UUNP Special Bone Weights to the outfits that I've converted for my own personal use so far.

Having everything remain static as if the wearer is covered in armor or bouncing through the outfits is a bit off-putting.

I have no idea why some meshes seem more resistant to this process than others.

If you are talking about the lack of breast physics on the outfits, I decided to do it that way because I didn't like the way they looked with them enabled and couldn't seem to fix the bone weights no matter how hard I tried; plus, some of the meshes aren't exactly smooth or high poly and it was pretty obvious with the physics enabled.

Then again, I'm not a mesh wizard or anything, so someone with better Bodyslide-fu than me can probably add the breast bone weights back without screwing them up.

Hi Siegmeyer,

May I ask about your latest batch of conversions (as listed in your spreadsheet)? Specifically, are you still planning to release your Kameleon UUNP conversion?

Hope you don't mind me asking. It's something I'm still looking forward to, so had to ask.

There is CBBE and UUNP bodyslide available here: https://kp4068.tistory.com/3048

*edit: nm, those UUNP bodyslides only work properly at weight 100.

So I gave a crack at aether suite this weekend and most of them turned out ok. I had trouble with the jeans and shirts though. Could you take a look? It’s under the adult mod download section. I had to split it into two parts cause it was so big. Anyway some of the shirts and jeans don’t line up in game even though they look right in bodyslide.

I'm having some trouble with the HV2007 extended mod. I messed with it for a while to see if I could get it to work to no avail, so I'm guessing that it's not user error and is a result of using it in SSE. It would seem that one needs a proper modder's port to SSE because of it's somewhat complicated nature compared to most normal armor mods.

There are two main issues I can see: One is that only the trim is visible for the breastplate and boots, while the main part of them is invisible. All of the tertiary armor parts and, curiously, the helmets and gauntlets are fine. The second is that the "(blank)-trimmed" armor parts appear identical to their solid material equivalents in-game despite looking fine in the inventory. As in, the silver gauntlets appear the same as the gold-trimmed silver gauntlets, for example.

I really hope I can get that mod in working order sooner or later, it's one of the nicest plate armor sets (and certainly the nicest modular plate armor set) I've seen. It's really good for building a good looking battlemage set when mixed with some fancy clothes parts.

For the invisible parts change the alpha flag from 3820 to 3308. It will make them visible but they will have bad z-fighting problems, which is why I changed the flags in the first place. My guess is that SSE doesn't support 3820 for some reason.

Don't know why the texture sets for the actor models of the trimmed variants would stop working, but assuming you resaved the plugin in CK 64 I would assume it's just the typical scenario of mods made in xEdit not working right when resaved in CK. That and CK 64 is notorious for screwing things up arbitrarily. Either way it seems the texture set records themselves are still working if they're showing up correctly for inventory/ground models. Therefore I would suggest checking two things:

-Make sure the Armor Addon records for the x-Trimmed variants have the appropriate Texture Set records linked to the correct 3D indices.

-Make sure the Armor records for the x-Trimmed variants are using the x-Trimmed Armor Addon records and not the "base metal" ones.

Considering that UUNP has almost no SE support, I assume you want me to convert the Blooded Heavy Armor and apply the textures from the mod you linked?

When it comes to Ulag's Legacy, are you planning on doing the other armor sets in that mod?

Unrelated: could you consider Nimezis' Eilhart Dress for a future UUNP conversion, please?

The Eilhart Dress is already converted to UUNP as part of the Apachii Divine Elegance mod.

This is an old armor set that I've managed to remind myself of, the Newlyna armor. Could I ask you to convert this to UUNP, and if at all possible, make it so that any gloves don't change the mesh of your hands/claws when you wear them?

Hey, cool!

I couldn't figure out the trim problem. I had re-saved it in the CK, but I also tested a fresh plugin without re-saving it and that one had the mono-color problem as well so it doesn't seem to be as simple as being lost in translation by the CK.

It looked fine when I looked at the AAddons in xEdit, so judging by the other problem it could also be related to alpha somehow (maybe the trim is also invisible, but the base coat is visible, so it just looks mono-color instead of missing entirely).

But! After I switched the alpha flag on the problem nifs they showed up in-game and don't seem to have any z-fighting in SSE. I recommend adding that self-fix suggestion for SSE to the original post somewhere (unless you just make an actual SSE version with that fix (plus working trim, hopefully)).

I checked and it isn't the case. And if it did, I think it screwed the item up, leaving a neck seam and causing some internal clipping.

Considering that UUNP doesn't have any "official" SE support I won't be doing that. You're free to publish your own SE version someplace if you get it working, and if you're willing to face the possibility of DMCA takedown by the Bodyslide guy.

If you could send me a copy of your SE conversion (plugin, bodyslides, and generated meshes at least) I can try to figure out why the trim colors aren't working with the actor models.
