The new BD won't work unless you've updated your game....

I'd just like to point out to everyone that the modders can't update their mods until after the patch is released.  Additionally, this particular mod depends on two others, which needed to be updated before work on this one can really get going.  There were some major gameplay changes with the patch which probably affect how some things have to be done going forward.  I'm not entirely sure I will be happy with some of the Maxis changes.  What are you gonna do, right?  I really enjoy this mod, and I understand it's frustrating to have to wait.  I'm not a super patient person myself.  That said, good luck, NisaK!  We're all counting on you.  ?

The person I was quoting updated their game and they are getting bmd errors.

Updating bmd won't solve all their problems but it won't hurt either.

As frustrating as it is that the mod is busted due to the update, it would also be wise to WAIT to update anyway. With how broken the official patch is, you know an emergency patch is likely right around the corner and even if the modder fixes to the current pass, they might just need to fix AGAIN when they emergency patch in a few days time. At least I HOPE they are gonna patch fix the things the recent major update broke. How dumb that sims are aging and dying randomly?!

Hello there, I can't help but notice that Inccubus can't get naked when they have their true form activated on the new update, anything that could be done about that?

What i had to do is make their main clothing, completely naked and that solved it for me at least.  Seems a succubus/incubus doesn't really care about clothes anyways..

this mod is massively broke, it wipes ALL households from worlds both base game and created, ive removed every mod one by one and it was ok added wicked perversions last and BOOM every household wiped, removed wicked perversions again loaded up the game and everything back i tried this several times so can 100% gaurentee this mod is the issue and nothing else.

yes remove it it trust me DO NOT save your game with it in, i was lucky to have my recoveries in the cloud or i would have lost everything.

Redownloading won't help. June 9 is still June 9.

 

I use this as my main door into LL: WickedWhims - LoversLab It's the WW download page sorted by date. Lets me know at a glance if an update has arrived yet. PROTIP: you need to specifically bookmark sort by updated in the URL. Changing the sorting on the page does not stick.

My OC has a specific aesthetic, so being naked all the time wouldn't work well with him. x.x

Yep this Mod and Color Sliders have broke my game and had to remove completely, After updating many mods and testing which ones are broken for me only 2 are broken. NWP and ColorSliders Mod. I know it may take time to update so i just using a newer file i havent played much on.

AEP i dont think has been updated for a  while..  and  that was before werewolves.. so it might be ok.I havent patched yet cause im waiting for Nisa   but im still playing with aep on  patch on the  version before  this massive update but after werewolves and it works..  along with some custom careers thhat havent been updated since  the 6/14 patch.

With all the chatter going on here I'm kind of surprised no one's bothered mentioning NisaK's Patreon page. It says it right there, 2 DAYS AGO she posted a warning about the potential for mods to break due to the upcoming official game patch. In other words, she's fully aware of the situation and she's asking everyone to be patient while mod authors update their CC and to be diligent about ensuring your own game doesn't break during this maintenance period.

 

TLDR: NisaK and most active mod authors are aware of the situation. There's no need to panic or flood the forums with bug reports. THEY ALREADY KNOW.

It's been a year nearly to the day since the last update. Which is fine as long as nothing happens to break it in the meantime. But now it apparently needs updating, and from what I've gathered, they're working on that now.

I don't mind the down time. I took out WW, WP and MCCC.

I played awhile with other mods like "Become a Sorcerer" mod by Triplis. Even the old version works well. There are things you can do that you're not going to see in WW/WP. I put the updated WW back and it stops the fun parts from BAS from working e.g. in BAS you make them minions, and set the mode to flirty and their role to guest, they always accept sex, even if they have the "hates children" trait, or a different gender preference, or ... .  Oh well.

WW was fixed quickly as was MCCC. Just checking to see if WP is updated. About the only things I use it for is prostitution and the Doll house.  My sims keep going to the computer looking for the WP section; I guess they like to window shop the dolls for sale. My worry is now that The Sims has gender preferences you can buy a doll for thousands of simolians just to have them say "sorry, you're not my gender preference." They're supposed to be a slave, just do it and give them an unhappy buff. The only preferences that matter should be the owner's.

I feel like we already had gender preference with WW or MCCC?  I'm not even sure which mod.  Either way, I'm sure someone will make sure we can change that if it's an issue.  
I mean, it can't be that inflexible, right?  What about Unplayed households that have already formed romantic relationships?  I can't imagine the game just randomly assigning them a gender preference that goes against their relationships.  
Someone pointed out, the other day, that this change actually allows characters to be straight, because prior they were all pan.  Now I can't think of it any other way.  ?‍♀️

I think I'd rather keep my characters pansexual, honestly.  Enough love for everybody.  LOL.

 

ETA: You could always pimp them out to their preference also.  

I've converted a few into spouses too.

If I read the patch notes correctly, Already existing sims will just have their preferences set to like everyone.

Y'all might want to nix playing Sims 4 with mods ATM. I just read there's a bug in the game from that update that needs a hotfix, and that could also be an issue with some mods as is.

The WP mod itself allowed you to set straight, bi or gay with a shift-click on the sim, go to Wp and preferences. I but now we have the base game changing that.  Another great feature of WP.

Well, given that all sims in the game will be bisexual, if you don't change this in CAS, Nysa's settings will look very good with this so that you don't have to go into CAS every time. It remains only to wait for the update.

Absolutely true! WP is a lot easier, but then it only has the three options. In CAS you can chose if romanced by men and/or women, if looking for sex or not, and if you're looking for sex with men and/or women.

EA has separated sex from romance by just a smidge.
