It'd be nice to be able to buy amy and the jars from the buy mode like you can buy bricks of certain drugs, or be able to buy the magic jars from the headshop like curing jars. I really liked the idea of being able to change a sims gender preference so I've been working on a whole mental storyline about it, but not being able to find the materials makes it difficult.

So this might have been a case of me being a dumb. I noticed on reboot that Basemental was giving me the "not up to date" notice on startup. I went and updated it and I think that's what fixed it.

 

For anyone troubleshooting, I was able to buy both Dry Amy and the jars after updating and playing with a succubus dealer after making sure basemental was updated. Not sure if it was the update or being a succubus (I know the jars are supposed to be 100% with a succubus) that did it, but I bought a whole bunch of each once I saw them pop up. Still haven't seen Amy pop up in the game world, but that could be just being a victim of RNG.

 

I had my sim go through the whole process of a Drenched Amy high, making sure they only slept with sims counter to their orientation and then let them sleep it off and didn't receive any drenched dream notification, and their preference is still the same. I'll give it another couple goes to see if its random chance now that I have the necessary equipment and report back in a day or two.

OK, had the Sim take Amy again and got the sexuality change. All good! Absolutely love it.

Hey Nisa, I've been having a strange issue lately.  All of my trans masc sims that are prostitutes and gay are getting calls from women and women only.  Even if I turn them straight, they're still getting calls from women.  It's the same way around with my trans femme sims who are lesbians, they only get calls from men.  I don't rightfully know when abouts this started but it's been really hindering my gameplay :'c  there's no error message because i guess it's not an error more like a coding issue?  My game, this mod, basemental, and ww are all up to date, and I can't think of any other mod that I use that would conflict with it.

You can find Amy growing wild, but it is pretty rare.  And it's also seasonal.  A drug dealer might have some for you, or you can enter bb.showhiddenobjects and pull them out of BB mode.

I have searched everywhere for the amy mushroom, even did the bb.showhiddenobjects and still can not find the shrooms to use them, I did the research and everything , even my drug dealer doesnt sell them? do I need the patreon version of BM for it to work???

The current free version of BMD will have it, make sure you've updated that.

After entering bb.showhiddenobjects and opening BB mode, use the search function.  I have no idea what category it's under, but by the time I entered "am" the suggestions had it in the list.

i'm having trouble with taking drenched amy. every time click on it all it says is add to favorite. i don't know why it is doint this. i have been able to take it in the past why isn't it working now. I can't even research it's only giving amy as an option

Oh. That mod. Tried it. Everyone's bi, and that's by design. I like to define characters and Nisa's mod lets me do that so I go with WW+KW. Not sure why I need basemental, I don't know how to play with the drugs and stuff.

hello Nisa, yes its me again, still cant find Amy shroom anywhere, went on BMD site and he has this on his new downloads All debug items now hidden from bb, debug and liveeditmode),  I have spent over 3 full days out looking for this mushroom but cant seem to find it, I found the jars in buy mode but alas without the shrooms the jars are good for nothing, please can anyone tell me where they found their Amanita Succubaria, thanks in advance

I was just in my game trying to see if it worked, and for some reason I can't turn on showhiddenobjects at all.  Probably some outdated mod I need to track down.

Anyway, you can assign some dealers, then track them down and try to buy them in game.  Finding it growing wild is possible, but you have to hang out in the world for quite a while for it to grow, and it has to be winter if you have Seasons.  And it's rare growing in the wild.  But what's crazy, one of the games I loaded to see if the showhiddenobjects bug was only the one game, there was wild Amy growing right in front of her house!

I like to assign the dealer role to sims that I know are bartenders.  Also, if it will let you assign it to Roy D Dillon, you can ALWAYS find him by going to a gym.

Sorry, I have seemed to lose my Pheromonal Flower buff icon. I started a new save, took out all mods except WW and Nisa's, deleted localthumbcache, but I still have the gray llama. Both WW and Nisa's are the latest public versions.

 

It's fine in CAS and as a Trait (shown in the second image), but not under the sim. Thank you for help!

Okay I just gave it a try myself.  I assigned several drug dealers, and it seems if one doesn't have it, nobody will have it.  But try again the next day.  The first day, no one had them.  After midnight, I ran into one of them, and now they had it.  Once you finally find some, be sure to plant one, sheltered so you don't have to worry about the season, so you'll always have more!
