I've updated the 3DMigoto Blender addon to work in Blender 2.80. Importing frame analysis dumps with or without poses works, as does importing and exporting raw buffers, merging poses, stripping non-numeric vertex groups, etc.

 

Blender 2.80 has changed quite a few things, so it might take a bit of searching/googling to locate where things have moved. One change in particular that you should be aware of is that the default key binding to bring up the operator search menu (e.g. for "Merge 3DMigoto Poses" and "Remove non-numeric vertex groups") has changed from spacebar to F3.

 

Please note that I haven't tested the vgmap functionality (used in DOA6) in Blender 2.80 as yet, nor has the DOA6 specific addon been updated. DOA6 modders should therefore stick to Blender 2.79 for the time being. I've been careful to maintain backwards compatibility, so the updated addon should still work fine in Blender 2.79 (just disregard the version warning), however if you should run into any problems the old version can always be found in the git history.

I'm aware that a few others have already modded this costume (see here, here and knight's version here), but I needed something to test my addon with Blender 2.80 and wanted to make my own personal take on this one with support for the malfunction variant since it's one of the costumes I fully awakened. This requires hi-metal's skin (see #2666) and the malfunction variants are only available if you have fully awakened the costume (normal variants will work without that). Tamaki's version is not included.

I just tried it, but unfortunately it's not working.

 

Is it perhaps due to the latest patch update?

Nvm i somehow found that I have to change the hash from 645e22fc to 12fe13aa.

The Body can be from other mods, (if you can create your own from scratch then you have my respect, I use ready-made or combine two like in White Prince Mod).

It is definitely a costume that you can mod, I managed: 

Are you sure you are doing everything right

1. Do you combine the elements of the original outfit which you mod, ending with the body just like in the video

2. Delete the weights on the replacement body (from a different mod) and do a weight transfer by selecting the same options as in the video

3. Delete unnecessary weights from your body, leave only the numbered ones, and then select normalize all

The Steam version new outfit Smile Weather is a new one for both Steam and DMM? I cannot find any mod for that. Wondering if I missed something.

Thanks. That's interesting, I tried to search by keyword "Smile" and "Weather", then "smile" only returned one thing not related to mod, and "weahter" returned nothing.

hi al, I am currently using multiple nude mods. Both the basic siwmsuit and white lace will turn the girl into nude. However I noticed that for the costume mods they will use the same nude body as that used by the basic siwmsuit. Can any one tell me why? Or if I want only the white lace nude, what mod should I disable?

I just reuploaded the Weekly Gacha mod because it was broken for Honoka body. You can find the download in my thread on first page or in the original post. The Diaochan ROTK mod was recently fixed too.



The old mod for Hohoemi Hiyori (DMM) reportedly works fine for the Smile Weather recently released on Steam.

CTRL + z rotates between bottom / belt deformations.
CTRL + x rotates between top / panty variants.
CTRL + c to rotate between top (excluding sleeves and collars) transparency variants.
