Darkest Dungeon Erotic Mods

I've been editing the string tables for DD, modifying Darkest Desires and now Lustiest Lair to match my personal tastes. However, I have now run into a problem I have never seen before. Whenever you modify one of the string tables you have to run the associated Localization batch file so that your changes will appear in game. But now, when I try to run the program it gives me a "windows cannot find '../../../_windows/localization.exe' " error message, then the program sits doing nothing until I close it. It does this for the localization files in each of the mods and the base game. None of the changes I make from here on out will appear in game if I don't fix this. Does anyone know what I need to do?

I was having a similar problem. I figured out a solution for Lustiest Lair that worked for me, at least. It was missing two of the '../../'s in its .bat file. You can add those manually, and it should run properly.

Right, I got it to work. So changing the "../../" needed to be done for Lustiest Lair, but for that and the other localization files I also needed to remove the ">>error.try" which had been added to all of the localization files. Apparently when I tried to load the incomplete Lustiest Lair localization file the first time, it also added the error text to all of the other DD localization files, and that was what was preventing me from using them. Thanks for the help.

see i respect Niur, sure he releases to patreon first. but he doesn't KEEP everything patreon exclusive cause he does eventually make them public for everyone on the nexus.

Same with XelswordArt. You get his mods 2 weeks early but then he'll release it on Nexus. That's how it's supposed to be I think - you get your perks for supporting the guy, but he's not hiding his mods behind a paywall.

Sorry for the dumb question but there is a way to add skins for class mods without delete the originals skins ? It's not a problem with vanilla class but i can't add manually news skins, they doesn't appears in game :c

thx ?

you'll need to delete the modfiles.txt that's in the folder. the game uses it to see what files it should use so anything not in there aren't. as far as i know it is safe to delete it and add files as needed.

Added some skins, deleted the modfiles.txt but... changed nothing for me sadly. Strange but, oh well...

Edit : Except for the Omnabushi, apparently.

Edit 2 : No issue with Cataphract either. Only the succubus and the Duchess seems to be problematic.

delete this

From what I can tell, other than the name there's nothing actually child about it, and it's not pornographic. It's just a small breast version, as opposed to the excessively huge breasts of the standard version. I would prefer something like this. The real reason it's difficult to find is the omen seeker mod maker doesn't approve of modification of the mod.

I have a particular way I build my game.  Despite having thousands of modifications and my game folder exceeding 5GB  I only have 18 mods.  The reason is I manually install each mod that I can.  Class mods are almost always able to install manually without placing them as "Mods".

E.G. Twilight Knight

You will get 10 folders from the mod.  Everything else you dont need.

Audio

Campaign

Effects

Heroes

Localization

Panels

Raid

Shared

Trinkets

Upgrades

Place these 10 folders in your Darkest Dungeon folder.  There will not be anything overwritten.

Now in your default folder for heroes: Darkest_Dungeon\Darkest Dungeon The Color of Madness\heroes\twilight_knight

You can now add and change skins as if it was a default hero.

N.B.  You can even install class mods with even less files as many of these files are not hard requirements.

E.G.  Leaving the trinkets folder out will not break the game.

To help Astartes out:

I have the Duchess and Succubus manually installed with many custom skins.

About the Succubus.

You will need 19 folders from the mod for a complete manual installation.

activity_log

audio

campaign

colours

dlc

effects

fx

heroes

inventory

localization

loot

monsters

overlays

panels

raid

scripts

shared

trinkets

upgrades

About the Duchess

You will need 11 folders from the mod for a complete manual installation.

audio

campaign

effects

heroes

localization

loot

panels

raid

shared

trinkets

upgrades

Copy and paste these into your Darkest Dungeon folder.  Then change the skins in the heroes folder to your personal taste.

Cheers
