grumbler Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Prideslayer, Â I am attempting to run SexoutAgent, and so loaded the latest beta here (as directed in his readme), but cannot set the sexual orientation of the PC because there is nothing in SexoutNG in MCM. prideslayer Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Haha' date=' sorry i'am not. Its a bad habit of mine to try answer questions that wasn't even asked. Â However no version of nvse was compatible with the german version as far as i know. So you changed something that make you think yours might be? [/quote'] Â As far as I know, NVSE has worked with nogore for a long time, but the extender didn't. The nvse_loader will load either nvse_1_4.dll or nvse_1_4ng.dll; the latter is the german/nogore build, that's what the 'ng' is. Â In that beta release, there are now normal and ng versions of the extender as well, and only the right one should be loaded by nvse -- the other one will abort. Â If so maybe it really was that that made it possible for me to play now...I'm not sure. Could be that there are really more differences between the german and the international version than the ones i know. Â The main difference on this end is that since the .EXE is different, all the entry points that NVSE hooks into are different. This means prior versions of the extender won't work with it.

I'll check now to see if I broke something in MCM, but if any mod introduces an MCM error, it has the potential to break every MCM using mod that comes after it. Â The scripts that make MCM work in a mod are extremely fragile.
grumbler Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Â The scripts that make MCM work in a mod are extremely fragile. Thanks. This was the clue I needed. I deactivated MCM, reactivated it, and the problem was gone.
prideslayer Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Â The scripts that make MCM work in a mod are extremely fragile. Thanks. This was the clue I needed. I deactivated MCM' date=' reactivated it, and the problem was gone. [/quote'] Â That doesn't make much sense.. aren't you using PN? It comes with its own version of MCM which doesn't work with other mods, you need the standalone version of MCM. Maybe you were using the PN version by mistake, if you installed PN after MCM and let PN overwrite with it's special version.
jaam Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Are you a german/nogore user by chance? Â I'am in Germany indeed. I have a UK import version of FNV though. Â However its always possible for steam to mess up. After one update they changed my version to the no gore version' date=' i was however able to change it back. If you are thinking that might be the problem i couldn't run the nvse plugin, i don't think so. If you try to run the game with nvse and you have the german version the game will not even start. Just like it would not start when the game is updated and nvse is not. I did use nvse and other nvse plugins the whole time. It was really strange. Â Other than the game exe (and possible some ini settings) the german version is exactly the same as the international version. So there should also be no problems with files that are different. [/quote'] Â Just to confirm which version you load, could you upload the content of nvse_steam_loader.log in the game directory ? Thank you.
prideslayer Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Yeah that would be cool. The first line of nvse_extender.log would be helpful too.

jaam Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Seems calling CIOS SexoutNG on an actor that is NOT part of the sex scene does not work anymore. Â Case in point SexoutPowderGangers Eddie/Scrambler train. Â Act 1 Eddie fucks PC, CallBack on Eddie, Eddie.CIOS OK. Act 2 Scrambler fucks PC, Callback on Scrambler, Eddie.CIOS, NOK. Act 3 Eddie fucks PC, CallBack on Eddie, Scrambler.CIOS NOK. Â Forcing the CIOS on an actorA correct the train. Â Is it supposed to be supported ? If yes, (I think Loogie would appreciate), a workaround could be to CIOS SexoutBegin the first non empty actor if self is not one of actorA/B/C/X
prideslayer Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 I broke that. I think I can get it working again, give me a minute.

prideslayer Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 Must be something more complex. Tried a simple version with Sunny and Trudy and it worked fine..  actora = sunny actorb = player actorx = trudy dialogx = greeting trudy.cios  guess it's off to ncrcf to see whassup.
jaam Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Must be something more complex. Tried a simple version with Sunny and Trudy and it worked fine..  actora = sunny actorb = player actorx = trudy dialogx = greeting trudy.cios  guess it's off to ncrcf to see whassup.  This scene is started inside a conversation, so the default reference is Eddie (current speaker)  actora = Scrambler actorb = PC cbdilogA = someDialog CIOS SexoutBegin = Eddie.CIOS SexoutBegin  The result is: Scrambler gets eaten by the female PC (using a F/F animation), no dialog callback happens. By debugging, I saw that only the extended variables set in SexoutNGCallSortEffectScript are available later. This results in bActorAmale = 0 in Randomize, hence the wrong animation picked.  Changing the CIOS call to Scrambler.CIOS SexoutBegin solves the issue.  It is the same for the next dialog, and the last also.  EDITED : to make it understandable. The initial version was giberish!
prideslayer Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Hmm. I had a rather different experience. Eddie demanded the blowjob as normal, and it seemed like about halfway through, the scene ended and turned to a sex scene, still with eddie, and the player redressed during it (but participated) then undressed afterwards; one too many undress tokens. That was the end. Scene ended, no dialog at all.  Now, the callbacksort script always has all the vars available as it's what copies them from the quest vars. If they're cleared after it copies them but before the sanitizer and/or randomizer run (as happened with actorx) then it'll go a little crazy.  The first scene is (supposed to be?) a = eddie b = player dlg = eddie cios = eddie.  2nd scene (from eddies dialog): a = scrambler b = player dlg = eddie cios = eddie  Is that correct?

[/quote']  yes. I never had an issue with eddie first scene. It is the foolowing three I had broken by default.  Also, I should say that I always chose the defiant answer to Eddie (second line), I was trying to test being enslaved.
prideslayer Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Thanks. I'll get it sorted out today.
prideslayer Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Added a little more magic to the sanitizer.. if self if self.IsActor NX_SetEVFl "Sexout:Start::ActID" nActID endif endif  Preventing the NX vars from clearing on Alex when he's the CIOS target but Bob and Carol are the actors. It's going to take a bit more though because scrambler is still being a literal bitch rather than a figurative one.
prideslayer Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 update: when a/b/x isn't 'self' (cios target) the vars regarding sextype, cananal, etc are not copied to 'self', so it uses the old (now uncleared) ones. Testing with just copying them to self. Â If this gets semi working I'll release a new beta and make a note to go back and just focus on actora all the time to get rid of this issue.
prideslayer Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 2.5.70b15 in OP - More callback fixes  Tested both PG startups a few times, all seems good with them. zippy57 Posted August 25, 2012 Posted August 25, 2012 There is no attachment. The beta version was promoted to a release and as of yet the newest beta has not been uploaded.
