Not too sure if 1.6 has or hasn't done this, but can the hoove sounds be put onto the footwear instead of scripts?  Sounds like a stampeed if the script gets lag and you're running, either that or you're tap dancing.  Is there not sound for armor?

 

At the end of the transformation, are you planning on making a cow voice to force the actor to use and any thoughts of trying to use the cow animations for the actor, so they're on all 4?

i still thinking about bizarre options like "on all fours" or another (bigger horns should be easy to add)
how i see it: quests - simple quest that add "special features"

i have a problem i dont have the slave tat and i have 1.6 and if i go to the menu in stage 11 i CTD. 

 

edit never mined my skse memory plug was fucked up i fixed it

First of all I really like this mod. Great work. 

 

Regarding the update...are there any update instructions? Do I have to start the mod from the beginning / with a clean save? Or is it ok to update an existing save from an older version of the mod? I am asking because I am using an old save and do not get the new content of version 1.6. Perhaps I am missing something. How do I get to the continuation of "captured cow" story? Thanks in advance for advise.

Yes, I remember that there was the possibility to add non-default sounds, for armors and such that would make unique sounds when you step, figured this would be perfect for it, as I find that if you walk slowly in 3rd, you make no noise, but do in 1st while walking, jogging and running seem very loud in comparison to horses.

 

My other thought of the voice change was when you hit 18, you just should moo when hit, breathe hard when running and moo when saying something, if the voice change can remove scripting at that point, all the better.

Just a thought, try getting the Texture Optimizer "Ordenador", run it on your Game folder, it should fix any errors in textures, found a bunch for a lot of items, in and around this mod that were causing crashes, they are no longer doing that.

1.6:  Tats not being added, went in to settings, exited, said "Slave tats is ..." and finished (did this twice), but did nothing.  I manually went into Slave Tats, picked "Being a cow" for all the spots and picked level 8", I'm seeing the tats properly, just not seeing them being added by the mod (and it's checked in the MCM).

 

Also, with respect to the Weight slider, any chance to "add" and not reduce?  When the weight change happens, at 1st transformation, it seems to put it to 0.01, if the player/NPC were higher than that, it looks like they had massive weight loss.

in the same boat the tears quest after escaping works, but the two other quests bac_huntersgonnahunt2 and bac_capturedcow2 dont seem to want to work not even manually setstages works.

Yea, this is the only issue I've had with the update so far - sometimes Marc does not want to go to the shrine.  I had this problem on the second "meet up" - reloading and staying outside Riften till after midnight caused him to show up in the right place.

 

Otherwise it's been a great update so far, nicely continues the Hunters story.

 

Edit: One more bug report:

 

 


In the scene after the second Riften statue meetup, what appears to be 3 separate scenes run back-to-back without waiting for any dialogue windows.  The screen blacks out a few times but you dont really have time to read the dialogue before the next starts.  It lasts just a few seconds and then I get sent back to Riften, where it seems like it should be a longer scene.

easy

Quest "cow's tears" start after escape. If  Unowned quest is just finished then "Cow tears" start automaticly (after update).
Marc sometimes need more time with 2tg meet :smile: I decided to hide map marker during his travel to easy locate him.

I will check it once again but for me all works fine. I finished this quest many time  ;)

So : problem is with Marc
Its there anyone here who updated mod game with finished "unowned quest" and can confirm what happens. "Cow's tears" started automaticly"? Or?

Just run and continue your game with new version, this mod check updates everytime during loadgame and do all what is necassery to continue story without clean save or something like that.

Those might be side-quests to the cow's tears quest.  I completed Cow's Tears and it doesn't look like I missed that much looking at the mod in TES5Edit.

they branch off of cow's tears quest, however I am now stuck

I get to the point where the hunters attack you in riften, but instead of surrendering and losing the fight I simply die, what mod am I missing or is a script not firing right?

always? Event is triggered when your health is under specifed value - so if one hit take more like for example 100points you will die - so question - it is always? Im checking scripts, all looks fine.

yes always, I'll cheese my health to see if it triggers though will update with results

 

Update got it to tirgger at 1 hp with a quick tgm, may be a good idea to change it to a setting though.

I managed to die to them once, the other two times it worked fine.  Suggestion would be to try not to get hit by a bunch of them at the same time, try running away from them a bit so they aren't so clumped up.  The one time I died I stood right in the middle of them with no armor and got destroyed.

Note about tats:  I checked after going into the mod's MCM menu, after manually setting the tats in Slave Tat's MCM menu, going back in after the Cow update was done after checking the settings, it ran the Slave Tats twice, all of the sections LAST item was set to Nothing/Nothing.  I put them back to what I manually set them to and the cow fur looks proper.  (Although, any chance to add some slight fur around the top and sides of the udder, so it's not a stark change?)

no worries 85 hp on my end was when my bar was completely empty and on legendary difficulty 1 hit was almost 100-200 a swing

but besides that everything else looked good, good job.

Cow's Tears:   Talked to Marc at the statue, paid the funds, he just stands there, quest won't progress.

 

Correction:  It did say it was "completed" for talking to Marc, but the quest is still pointing to Marc.
