So I'm barely computer literate and this is just about my first time attempting to mod anything, so I request some patience about what's probably stupid questions here, but I got a few:

1) The Light Beam Removal instructions say to replace the com.cat file under the respective letter (E, in my case, as I understand it)... thing is, E is the only one of those four letters that DOESN'T have a folder in my files, and also I don't see a file titled com.cat anywhere. Did they change the name of things in some patch? Was there something I was supposed to infer? I'm just at a loss how to install this one, presently

2) Been having a heck of a time getting all the girls no bra and no panties in both pre and post transform outfits... Couldn't get bras off in pre initially, then I eventually solved that in a combination of some downloads (and I'm not even sure I could tell you how... sort of copying files into folders en masse, honestly) and putting everyone in the Swimsuit and Tee combo (with the appropriate DL)...
Except now I'm having an issue where some girls (Renka and Ryoubi, off the top of my head) have panties in all forms and I can't figure out what triggered this or how to fix it... I'd have thought just overwriting everything with the No Panties files again would work, but it seems like even this didn't resolve it?
I've seen some very salty replies to questions like this in the past, BUT... could anyone just tell me the set of downloads I'd need to get all the girls sans underwear in both forms, even if only in a single outfit (thus the goal would be to appear fully nude when hovering over "Lingerie" in the dressing room, regardless of form)?
I assume Decensor and a skin pack (I think I'm running SG2, seems fine), but what other zips in the mediafire library (like the specific file names out of the folder)?

For English, you must replace the com.cat in the \GameData\effect\ folder. There will be no "E" folder. Those are reserved for other languages.

 

For the no panties, do you have the correct lingerie equipped to them? If I'm remembering correctly, you must equip lingerie 11 or 31 for the character to be wearing no panties.

Hey there. So I might look like an idiot here, but can I ask how to actually add skin textures to the game? I'm using the SG02 one and I've extracted it to a separate file. It has a file, a readme note and some sample images. And now I don't know what to actually do. Would really appreciate some help, thanks.

You'll have to navigate to the "GameData" folder in your game installation folder. It will likely be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Senran Kagura Estival Versus\GameData"

 

There should have been a folder called "Model" in the file you extracted. Copy that folder into the GameData folder you have open. You'll be prompted with a dialog that asks if you want to replace files in the destination. Say "Yes To All."

 

Keep in mind, this will not make the characters nude, except for clothes break animations and creative finishers. You will need to combine the skin texture mod with a mod to remove bra's and/or panties in order to have them be nude all the time. Be sure to install the "Light Censor Removal" mod, as well!

This tutorial has seriously helped a bunch! Damn those camera rotations are a real pain though. I wonder if there's a consistent way to get those to not be a hassle?

Figured out the camera control, thanks a lot, do you know if there's a way to make the clothes invisible, such as during the button snap and unlaced swimsuit finishers? Or just making some of the finisher items invisible too? Such as certain finishers like the Tree, I've seen some videos on youtube where this guy was able to make everything in the finishers invisible so it was just the girl floating, or posing/sitting on nothing but thin air xD

their channel has honestly kinda amazed me with how much work has gone into the modding process. Like they’ve backwards imported models from PBS (something I REALLY wanna figure out how to do), model swapped characters in the same game (also something I have no idea how to do), made damn near everything invisible, and somehow managed to set up the super finishers in multiplayer with a lobby of nothing but cpus.

 

It’s super frustrating since they mention that they for some reason can’t say how they did it and that there’s some “overseas” tutorials or whatever that I for the life of me cannot find lol. I’m kinda tempted to start a new thread just on this stuff because I’m near the end of my rope on trying to find a clear and concise way to do all of that lmao.

Always been interested in this series after playing it on the 3ds, but I'm mostly interested in older women. Does anyone have any pictures of Sayuri with the mods like this? The series is on sale right now and I'm still upset that the april fools peach beach splash Sayuri update never got added in, and it seems like we will have to wait a very long time until we get any news on the next game. I know that Sayuri is slow and clunky and one of the worst characters in the game, but I'm just a dedicated gilf lover and older women appreciator. I want to know if it's worth buying at a discount for Sayuri.

Basic Install Instructions:

 

  • Skin and Weapon mods - Install path is "...\Senran Kagura Estival Versus\GameData\Model\Playable"
    Here you will find hr, pl and wpn folders where:
    hr = Hair               -C1 hair color and base hair, don't mind these folders since messing with C1 is a bit complicated
    pl = Player            -These folders are where the magic happens for skin , Since they host face, hair and skin textures
    * You need to put your downloaded skin texture in one of the pl folders
    wpn = Weapon     -Theses folders host weapons skins and some Shinobi Mode accessories, Take Shiki Hat + bats as example
     
  • Clothing mods - Install path is "...\Senran Kagura Estival Versus\GameData\Model\Costume" Here you will find Bura, Freecos, Ninja, Swim & Uniform where :
    Bura =  Bra
    Freecos = Swimsuits, Great part of the clothes
    Ninja = Ninja uniforms
    Swim = Swimsuits(?) & Underwear (panties)  *I don't remember if swimsuits are in this folder or in the Freecos >.<
    Uniform = Uniforms (School Uniforms)

This topic was created to help new players in modding their games. Since a bunch of mods are scattered all around the place.

I know it's been a long, long time and the OP of this post (Butler) doesn't support this game anymore, but is there a way we can get any of these mods again? I'm sorry to say but the host of these files, anonfiles, has shut down as of today. I don't know where the files are going to since the domain is put up for sale, I'm not even sure if the author of this would bother to reupload (which is his choice anyhow), but I'm wondering if there's anyone who at least archived any of these files. Again, sorry to bother and say.

I second the motion with MC counter. We need to put these in a proper archive/index for future access. If these goes away forever, well then that's it... I mean, it's not like places like Nexusmods would accept things like these. So we have no where else to go for these kinds of mods. It would be a travesty if people's hard work just fades away into the ether... 

 

Anyways, what I came here for is a Mirai eye patch remover. But I'm surprised even after all this time that there's still no patch for it in this game like what Burst Renewal had. Same case with Shinovi Versus.

I wish the game just automatically allowed us to remove the eyepatches (Mirai/Yagyu) or hats (Shiki) automatically without having to resort to mods...

  • SKEV Cat Ana ( unpacking and repacking tool ) SKEV_cat_ana batch.rar
    Instructions :
      Reveal hidden contents

    1 Extract the .rar file in a folder of your choice
    2 Extracting .cat - Drag'n'drop desired .cat file to be extracted in "SKEV_cat_extract.bat"
    3 Repacking .cat - Dag'n'drop desired folder to create a .cat file in "SKEV_cat_pack.bat"

Basic Install Instructions:

 

  • Skin and Weapon mods - Install path is "...\Senran Kagura Estival Versus\GameData\Model\Playable"
    Here you will find hr, pl and wpn folders where:
    hr = Hair               -C1 hair color and base hair, don't mind these folders since messing with C1 is a bit complicated
    pl = Player            -These folders are where the magic happens for skin , Since they host face, hair and skin textures
    * You need to put your downloaded skin texture in one of the pl folders
    wpn = Weapon     -Theses folders host weapons skins and some Shinobi Mode accessories, Take Shiki Hat + bats as example
     
  • Clothing mods - Install path is "...\Senran Kagura Estival Versus\GameData\Model\Costume" Here you will find Bura, Freecos, Ninja, Swim & Uniform where :
    Bura =  Bra
    Freecos = Swimsuits, Great part of the clothes
    Ninja = Ninja uniforms
    Swim = Swimsuits(?) & Underwear (panties)  *I don't remember if swimsuits are in this folder or in the Freecos >.<
    Uniform = Uniforms (School Uniforms)
