Sorry if this has been asked before but every time I tell a slave to put on the collar, they unequip everything (most of the time) and are nude. Sometimes they will leave on a hat or a shirt, pretty random.

Is there a way to make it so they do not get naked and actually retain all of their items? I am slowly building a commonwealth full of dirty nudists here... lol

Hello Everybody. This mod is so great. Always wanted to have Fahrenheit (Hancok's bodyguard) as companion. Thanks for the mod.

However I found the "looksmenu" doesnt work correctly. I've tried to check the issue with Named NPCs and random ones. I always find invisible body when enter/exit any building.

I've read a lot of posts from here trying to find a solution, but nothing solves it. I've tried to reset slaves from dialogue options, they turn on their original state without my changes. I've tried to use the console commands disable/enable but this also doesnt work. I've tried to do fast travels, dismiss them and ask to follow me again. Also tried to make appereance changes before to enslave them, but they return to the original state when get cloned from the mod.

I know I can make the body visible again just unequip/equip any item from their inventory, but its really a pain do it every time I open a building door.

I really would like to find a way to solve it, get the desired appereance without invisible body, anyone or the modder can give me any tip for it?

(English is not my native language, sorry if any mistake)

If I enslave a raider boss, that that count for clearing the location? I was thinking about using the female bosses in a brothel, but I'd rather not have to do stuff like kill them and resurrect them since that can cause weirdness to occur.

It does. I've been keeping a "trophy room" with enlaved bosses for a while now. There's the occasional one which will have something you need that doesn't appear in their inventory unless they die, but for the most part you'll be ine just enslaving them.

I'm having some trouble after updating from 0.69 to 0.75. The issue is with renaming slaves, it renames them fine, and it all resets back to slave when you zone. Also the actual rename settler function through info has never worked for me.

 

So i have to use setname "whatever"

Just curious. I have ghost pins for slave locations, meaning a pin says there’s a slave there but no slave actually exists at that location. Any help on this?

Hello everyone, I hope you are fine.

 

I have some troubles when I redesign my slaves: it seems that when I change one of my slaves appearance, it also changes some other slaves, making them clones of the first one... Like if I could only have 3 slaves designs.

Any idea on that?

Sounds like you're affecting the ActorBase rather than the actor. It's a perennial problem with slavery mods, although JB seems to be more resilient than most.

 

How are you accomplishing your redesign?

Pressing the hotckey and clicking "To change the Apparence"

I've not noticed the problem with the body morph/looksmenu side of the mod, myself. Then again, I tend not to use it much so maybe I wouldn't.

 

Hopefully someone else can be more helpful.

Maybe if I change them appearences via the console it will work more? What do you think?

The trouble is that the game tends to store this information on the actor base records rather than the actors. They way they can have lots of instances of the same raider, but all the appearance info, the stuff that takes all the memory, that only has to be loaded once.

 

Trouble is that because the data is shared between all actors of a given appearance, changing that data changes all of them. So it's likely there's no way round it, at least not from a player level.

Ok I get it now! I can only create as many different slaves as many riders variations it exists in the world. That's why raiders are now clones of my slaves...

Such a shame, I hope to find a solution somehow, but thanks anyway you were really helpful to understand where the problem came from

Well, we can test that. I happened to have a matching pair of raiders in my entourage. So I renamed them "Pinky" and "Perky" and went to town on one of them. The body morphs reverted as soon as I quit looksmenu, but otherwise:

I had to save and reload to get her body skin color to match her face, but otherwise they seem distinct. he trick now will be to find a third one. I'm bound to have one in a pillory somewhere, but it's probably better if I find one in the wild.

Looksmenu with JB is wonky AT BEST. Even slaves who aren't raiders are troublesome to work with, from making your settlement hostile to the slave during the procedure to finding them when you're done. The only thing I've been able to do reliably is change skin color on some (Simone for example) to clean up their face using "to change the appearance." If I use slm on her she disappears. Forever. Every damn time.

I did have some success using AFT sculpt mode, but even that was a crapshoot. If you DO manage to figure it out you'd make a lot of gamer pervs very happy.

And I found this one waiting for me in Sunshine Tidings:

So yeah, do it to one and it affects all them with the same base actor record.

Anyone found any odd behavior wit h the Nuka World Home Sweet Home missions?

 

I took Oberland Station, sneaking up and marking everyone before the combat started. That worked well, so I thought I'd repeat it with County Crossing. So I told the gang to wait while I did my marking, and then went back to fetch them, and the minute the fight started, a message popped up saying "you can now use the workbench at County Crossing" and all the settlers and hired guns turned green.

 

It was most odd.
