when i go for the certificate in the crypt the character can't walk and i can't skip time

try opening the MCM menu and use the debug option to regain control of your character.

I don't use Vortex, but people say it can be kinda buggy. Sounds like an incorrect installation. You also need to check if the scripts folder was installed, it's not only the plugins.

Are you using it in the same save you were playing? Better start on a new game or one save that was before Thief was first installed

The next update will not be coming any time soon its one of the bigger so far but for the pregnancy quest just skip as far as possible (end of subway ) then just leave subway and use setstage "thief quest id" 1000 to finish main quest and you can go do pregnancy quest without problem

Having issues with the Carriage ride from Falkreath.
The game crashes after pushing the carriage uphill, and if it doesn't crash at the cross road. Then after the PC gets back in, the carriage will stop moving after a couple of seconds. Refuses to proceed.

Is there a fix? If not, I will just fast travel to the destination.

See the discussion ending with this post:

In summary, it's probably related to a mod conflict or data corruption.

Spend some time getting .NetImmerse to work again, and finally managed to get a crash report. I don't know how to read that, but will post the crash log below. I went and disabled "Water for ENB + its patches" and may have been a fluke but got past the crossroads again (not the first time).

Anyhow the problem remains. The carriage gets stuck and refuses to continue.

Is it possible to get the voice lines? I want to make an voiceover but I would need Voice Type, Voice Line and the filename? When I'm trying to export the voicelines from creation kit it crashes

I have the exact same problem. Crash at the hot spring (which I avoided with the skip feature) and crash at the Jarl's Longhouse in Falkreath (marriage quest with the beggar). See also my post from 02.10.23 in this thread. Did you find a solution? I am on AE version 1.6.353 btw. Any help would be appreciated.

I haven't tried out the AE version in some time, as I understood it this mod was SE compatible only, so you'd need to use the downpatcher to get it working.

Good afternoon,

With a low Karma playthrough, I'm running into another issue that I can't seem to fix.
During the bath scene within the Blue Palace, an NPC should arrive and bring in another. For some reason they do not come.

Since I know the ID of the first NPC, I used the "Moveto" command to force him to spawn within the room. That worked and it initialised the scene, but when he calls out for the other NPC - the other NPC doesn't arrive neither. I don't know the ID of that NPC, thus I get stuck in the bath.

Is there a fix? I tried multiple times to find a solution.

Edit: sorry, I have found the ID of the 2nd NPC on page 254.
Edit: However, the scene gets stuck after choosing 1 of the 2 (stairs of the bath). If anyone knows a possible solution, I'm all ears.
Topic history does not seem to show any results when trying to find a solution.

This scene below is very buggy and it's where I get stuck. Can't seem to solve it. Unable to interact nor leave the bath.

Spoiler

Edit: managed to solve it, solution on the next page.

I'm having an issue where Vala after returning from the sewers, will not do anything after the conversation with you. I've tried disabling some mods but it doesn't seem to work is there a fix to this?

Finally managed to find a solution for the Bath / Guest Room scene that was not progressing.

I'll leave the solution here for anyone else who get stuck after choosing 1 of the Giggolo's (animation scene not triggering).
Do note: it breaks nearly all the animations.

Spoiler

Requirements would be:

- having Sexlab Aroused (any version) installed.
It's probably possible with other mods that forces animation to play.

When the Giggolo tries to enter the bath but does not trigger the scene:

  1. Hold down the button that is used for SL Aroused (also used to show Player Arousal Level), that will trigger the PC to masturbate (you can possibly skip step 2 by selecting "use bed" upon animation trigger).
  2. Once the animation has ended, you can use the Console command: "TCL" to clip through and leave the bath.
  3. Leave the room and re-enter the room.

Leaving the room solved the issue and it would start the Animation Scenes, however it's misaligned because you left the bath. Luckily, during the ending scene - the PC + NPC will be teleported onto the bed. The scene will end and then it's a matter of using PRID + Moveto for Wooster.

This may not be the only solution, but unfortunately I could not find any known solution for this bug.

I too ran into that issue, and here is the solution for that issue.
It does skip some a little bit of the story, but better that than getting stuck. :)

Just finished escaping from the bandits, I'm told to head to the nearby mill. As I cross the bridge I react to the first blood stain but then as I walk on following the path I get CTD. Any solution?
