I found out the issue, the problem was the dwarven ballista animations so I just removed the entire dwarven ballista file and removed their animations in the json and fnis loader things and its working now

Ah anon kind of mentioned, unsure. In theory they work in the sense they'll play, but how 'VR' they are I'm not certain.

Interesting. Was this LE/SE? I can keep that in mind. Not sure why 1 creature has difficulties and others don't... Not even like they add many animations either.

Hey Billy! Just wanted to say, great animations, truly a work of wonder.

 

Do you have some place where peoples can send you ideas for new animations and a place when I could donate something to You perhaps? I have some wild ideas sometimes but no skill.

Hey Biziut,

 

Ugghhh, we talking aside from my PixivFanbox / SubStar that is in my signature? Can always just temporarily sub for a donation in a sense if not down with a commitment. In terms of where I take ideas, I kind of take them from anywhere. Obviously ones I get on Pixiv/substar I take more seriously. However I will say 'wild ideas' do scare me in the sense that I often veto overly elaborate and/or very situational animations. Not that the ideas are bad (sometimes they are, lol), but I just don't have the time to invest in them when there's still a lot more I can do elsewhere.

 

An easy example of this is I get a number of requests for creature+static object that may or may not exist in Skyrim. It'd make a nice animation, yes, but I'm generally not a fan of large objects popping up out of nowhere. Especially if they can't be found in Skyrim. A lot of creatures still need some basic animations before we start getting into things that aren't broadly useful to everyone.

 

I'm hopeful one day I'll get the opportunity to have more time for the great Todd. I've got a number of odd ideas myself.

Having some issues with the Seeker animations, a good number of them only have the seeker sort of hovering, moving his arms while the other actor plays the rest of the anim. I've attached a few screenshots. Some anims work, like Seeker Love 2, but most do not. I've noticed the same issue with other creators animations, so it might not be Billyy's issue, but I figured I would ask. 

 

Apologies for the dark shots, but the first two are the issues I mentioned, the third is Seeker Love 2, which works fine.

Your seekers aren't getting the tentacles/leeches added from Baka's ABC. Issue will be be something related to that. The install may be no good, seekers might be some be a modded 'race' that doesn't have the right skeleton for them, creature framework may not be applying naked mesh, might just be an issue with skeleton/another mod is overwriting seekers in some way, etc.

stock MNC/CF does not touch the seekers, so it's abc vs something else.

Maybe it's because I'm not a modder and I'm new at this but after installing the SLAS pack, running FNIS without any problems (shows that animations are included), I load up Skyrim SE and I don't see SLAS in my MCM. How do I bring that up?

It was ABC, could have sworn I had it, didn't. My bad, but a cautionary tale for some others lmao.

This may be a noob question... how do the Sexlab animations get initiated?  I think I have all the mods installed. So far my only method of initiation is another non-sexlab mob called FlowerGirls - irresistable.  I can see all the Sexlab config in MCM,  I have the arousal mods working, but not sure how to get the sexlab animations to trigger.

I installed everything and used FNIS. But for some reason, giant spider animations don't work, the giant spider don't even move and my player play a animation for few seconds before doing nothing. Any idea how resolve this?

Hey man, I'm sorry to bother and ask but, what graphics mod do you have/use in your promotional photos of your amazing "Billy Animations" mod? I just upgraded my graphics card a week ago, and when I was updating some mods in my game, I just noticed how your game looks really great on your mod page. I've been using Surreal Lighting with Noble Skyrim 2k textures for awhile now in SSE lol... but I hope you don't mind me asking since I'm kinda new with enb's and graphics mods for Skyrim SE.

The actual game-modding side is actually somewhat my weak point. Spend too much time making the mods to be able to really properly set my game up. Most of the heavy lifting for visuals is done via ENB. Mine specifically is PI-CHO ENB. However it was provided to me by one of my friends whom did a lot of screenshotting and was good at tweaking ENBs for that purpose. The base PI-CHO ENB should do well enough though. Mine probably has higher saturation than the base one based off the nexus page screenshots.

 

I also more or less just followed STEP guide stuff for all the other enhancements and whatnot. Of course my mods are pretty messy now, but generally it should still use all the sameish mods from STEP.

It may also be worth noting that heavy ENBs can tank your framerate if your rig isn't beefy.

I don't know if you already heard about SL p+, Scrab's project to modernize the SL framework?

 

The thing is, this project soon will launch its second big stage of changes, which simply will be incompatible with existing SLAL packs.

Scrab released SLSB, an external tool, to build packs in the new format that will be supported by SL p+ Stage 2. The reason for this is explained in the linked post.

 

Now my question: do you consider porting your pack to be a SLSB pack, too? That would be really awesome! Thank you in advance!

Maybe. I know very little about it. However it's no secret that Sexlab development has grind to a halt and will always have it's general slowness and bugs. The thought of needing to find time to fit in a bunch more back-end admin work does make want to curl up into a ball though.
