This is how lightning, self-lightning and normal maps works.

Normals were generated for the usual proportions of the character, without such big traps.

I tried to make my own normals for this zone, but without success (for now).

It's just a static pose, and big log, manually placed "in the air" (via positioner mod).

Well, Skyrim have some "carry" animations ("offsets" actually) - for bucket, basket and logs. Two of them you can see in Whiterun: Isolda often carries a basket, and guy from Belethor's store carries logs.

But I have no idea how to force player to use these animations, and for which purpose it is necessary to do.

It's a new head and body model, so if I use it, it can provide some incompatibility with different things (like terrible neck seams with any non-converted armors).

Speaking of normal maps, there always was this little spot at the lats which is kinda strangely lit up. Dunno if its just me or doesnt it look a bit odd? Obviously very nitpicky thing so dont mind me if it is too much work xD, just wondering if it could be "smoothed" out. Or maybe you already did with your new update. ?

Thanks Azazellz for clarifying, lol. I figured out he used ECE, switched on ECE for a brief save to see if the sliders are what got him that shape, and it totally was.

I wish it was possible to have all of the sliders and options in both, but quick googling seems to reveal there's way too many technical hurdles?

 

If RaceMenu could get the types of shoulder/arm sliders that ECE has, that would've been ideal.

I was casually looking into a way to do the "Turn Amazon" spell, but you're right, there's SOOOOOOO many issues. 

There's basically 0 chance of an NPC's face staying the same on a "setrace XXX" call, is there?

And I'm getting this weird situation where naively setting the race causes the body to turn invisible.

Giving the upgraded NPC a new armor isn't a big issues, so I'm less concerned there.

Now, if I get through the invisible body issue, there's still the problem of the face - if a convenient lore excuse could be made up, then an NPC that's turned into an Amazon could just have their face change as part of the transformation.

The transformation sequence I imagine has to be obscured by smoke/lighting.

Seems it should be "front" part of lats, so that's why this place have that lighting (because it should faces forward, directly on light source).

I'll look at it.

Well, for RaceMenu you can try this mod - it adds skeleton sliders, like ECE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45235/?

I never looked into RaceMenu sliders (did this only for ECE), so I can't tell, how they works.

NPC faces is a one big problem.

Because face data for "unique" NPCs  stored into separate .nif file with head, eyes, brows, and so on, and with pre-defined textures and racial stuff (blocks inside nif files named as racial headparts, "FemaleHeadNord" or "HairNord03", for example). So you can't change NPC race and maintain old head.

Or, maybe, I do not know how to do this.

Also, if I made new "experimental" head and body as part of the mod - then, even if we can use pre-generated NPC head - we will get terrible neck seams.

 

P.s. my english is so bad... My head starts to ache when I try to explain such "technical-related things"...

i am happy he Told you i was away for a week or so i was being sick and shit i keep tabs on this form to have social interactions with comment interests and the hopes of this support getting the Attention this mods derives ^-^

Sadly yea racemenu dose not have any of that, like that
