View File Amazons Mod Description Adds a new potential ally or enemy faction on the map named the Amazons. The Amazon tribes will retroactively change their relationship to the player colony based on the composition of their colonists. The Amazons are female supremacists and primarily roam the planet looking for male slaves to apprehend. Gradually over time Amazon tribes will attack the player colony if they have a variable number of males present. Several of the settings can now be scaled according the the players difficulty tastes. Goal The goal of the mod was to add a challenging faction to fight that could also act as an ally depending on the players colony composition. My aim was to give the Amazon warriors deadly hybrid weapons when fighting male opponents to portray their cruelty. The Amazon tribes will settle in new locations and conquer rival settlements. Requirements Royalty DLC Requires the Harmony mod. Difficulty & Balance The amazon warriors have numerous degenerative weapons which are designed to cause extra damage to males. This mod is not intended to be seriously balanced, suggestions are welcome. Updates 9th April 2025 Nightingale bow added. Mancatcher stunning weapon added. Fixed the duplicate techlevel entry in the Amazon faction def. Amazon weapons cause passive damage when males equip them. Updates 15th November 2024 Amazon settlements have a 30% chance to spread. Amazon tribes will conquer other settlements and capture them. Updates 1.2 4th January 2024 Males present in your colony will aggravate local Amazon tribes. Relations now decay based on the composition of the colony. Numerous new mod settings added for scaling. Amazon tribes are no longer permanently hostile to the player faction. Installation The Amazon tribes will not appear on an existing save game, therefore you will need to start a new game in order for them to appear on the world map. Players who used older versions will need to start a new game in order to benefit from the revised mechanics to relationships. Items The mod adds several new weapons for the Amazon warriors to use against their opponents. Several of the weapons cause amplified damage against male opponents and can deliver neurotoxic agents into their system. Future If people like the mod I may add new weapons, bionics and memes. The mod was influenced by an old Crusader kings 2 mod. I hope to make the Amazon colonies spread eventually but I'm not very experienced with Rimworld modding. The neuro toxin will eventually affect females too, perhaps every successive shot increases their desire to join an Amazonian ideology...? Conflicts The Hermaphrodite gene mod has been reported to cause errors with the mod. Load Order Mid to low load order should be fine. This mod may work in conjunction with vanilla psycasts expanded at a later date, so keep it below the vanilla series of mods. True Amazons Followers Some people asked me to make followers based on my True Amazon Race mod, and that's what happened as a result. Three standalone followers with muscular body shapes and perfect combat skills. For the basis of their appearance, some characters from different games universes were taken. They all have their own camps, armors and weapons (and one of them even have some spells). All of them are essential (can not die), their minimum level is 10, maximum is 500, and they grow in level together with the main character. All followers equipment and spellbooks can be found in a backpack near Warrior Stone. This mod compatible with Amazons race mod, so followers can use all armors and other assets (textures, normal maps, skeleton variants...) from there. Profiles: Hippolyta the Amazon Warrior with a two-handed halberd. Prefers light armor. She traveled to Skyrim until she came to hot springs, where she decided to stop and rest. Her camp is near to the camp of bathing hunters in the Windhelm volcanic tundra. Can train player in "Two Handed" up to 100 points. Senshi the Warrior One-handed warrior with sword and shield. Prefers heavy armor. Traveler from distant lands. Professional blacksmith. Trying to solve the secret of dwemer metal. Her camp is near to entrance into Mzulft. Can train player in "Smithing" up to 100 points. Sell weapons, armors and dwemer stuff. Tyris Flare Spellsword with powerful fire magic. Prefers clothing. She traveled to the College of Winterhold to improve her knowledge of the magic of destruction. Her camp is near to Knifepoint Ridge. Can train player in "Destruction" up to 100 points. Player character and followers from this mod is protected from unique effects of power-attacks (force-pushes), but other game characters is not. So be careful. A lifestyle of harsh training under the presence of a local magical anomaly gives them incredible muscle mass and power. Amazon mages channel magic through their musculature to greatly increase the power of all spells. Their muscles continually generate vast amounts of magicka. A Warlock's mastery of Amazonian muscle-based magic grants her peerless magical power. Amazon Matriarch The Amazons hail from a valley hidden deep within Skyrim's mountains. A lifestyle of harsh training under the presence of a local magical anomaly gives them incredible muscle mass and power. The Matriarchs are the rulers of the Amazons. If you are ECE user - in the character creation menu go to the slot-load part and select "Preset 1" "Preset 2" or "Preset 3". This loads pre-defined preset with various skeleton bones scaling. Only after this you can tweak your character's face! Don't forget to use MCM for further customization. === BUGS AND LIMITATIONS === Because of modified skeleton you can expect clipping or other weird things in some poses or animations. Because of custom body, this race can't normally wear vanilla armors. May appear some strange bugs in beast form or vampire lord form, especially for ECE users. For obtain armors - use AddItemMenu. Or you can found all armors in a sack near the Warrior's Stone. Because of Skyrim engine limitation, If you want to use really high jumps (300+ points) you need to install Better Jumping (SKSE Plugin), or you may stuck in mid-air during high jumps. Some animation mods may overwrite animations from my pack or set it to "vanilla" state. If this happens - use PCEA variant instead. If you use mods, that changes basic jump height, leave Jump option disabled in MCM.
