Well, there's a few of us poking the idea tentatively with sticks, though we all seem to be hitting road blocks so far, so we haven't got anything substantial yet, but now you know...we have to kill you or use you to test the MrHandy/Sandworm hybrid impregnation sequence :)

Hey there,

 

I'm writing because I'm hopeful the Four-Play framework can help me mod my game for a very specific purpose.

 

From the description of the mod, I was led to believe that there was a lower function included in the framework to allow for male actors to be in the "female" position when in a sex scene with a female actor (who would in theory automatically equip an installed strap-on and fuck the male actor with it).

 

 

 

function four_play_main(Actor a0, Idle i0, Actor a1=None, Idle i1=None, keyword arch0=none, keyword arch1=none, objectreference start_mark=none, float duration=30.0)

 

This is a lower level function. Actors a0 and a1 are used in the male and female position respectively, So if you want your female PC to ream Kellogg with a strapon, this is the one to call. Both idles are specified separately, and in principle can take any animation supplied. The Arch parameters are facial animation archetypes intended to change the expression, duration is how long the animation lasts and start_mark is broken and should not be used.

 

I have tested lesbian strap-on scenes in Four-Play's test cell, it works rather well. I have also been able to get my male player character to assume the female position with Kellog in the test cell, so I guess that role-reversal might be theoretically doable within the current framework?

 

I would absolutely love if your mod could give the option of choosing the "female" role for a male player with a female companion, or at least include it in the random cycle of sex animations.

 

I am currently using vinfamy's "Four-Play Vanilla Fudge" mod to trigger sex animations.

 

Thank you for your awesome framework and for your help in making this little modding fantasy happen.

 

P.-S. It was suggested to me elsewhere in the forums that it might be possible to swap preferences in the framework's functions using a console command. I am not a modder myself so I have no idea how to figure which console command to use, but I don't mind going the extra mile with some advanced user stuff if it's explained to me first.

Is it supposed to fade to a black loading screen whenever an act is about to start? That's what happens to me every time. And my female character is floating in the air above the male.

 

Sometimes. From what I understand the game goes into a loading screen sometimes when it moves the actors close to each other. Sometimes it happens a lot, sometimes not. 

 

One of the animations is broken the way you describe.

I've bumped into an issue where both Curie and Piper can't be fucked, because the system says they're in power armor. Which they aren't.

I had both of them in power armor, before I installed the mod. But also Cait. And when I put her out of the armor I could fuck her without any problem. I don't seem to have this problem with any other npc, it's only with Curie and Piper. I've tried the two different versions of 4p, but the issue is in both versions.

Has this issue popped up before? Can it be fixed somehow?

Well, this mod isnt going to workout. No nude bodies for a male :/

 

Nexus does have erected male bodies. I can't give direct links from where I am typing, but name is Enhanced Vanilla Bodies.

Could it be that something went wrong with the Kids check ?

It dosen´t matter which NPC´s should start a scene its always aborted due to "not allowed Actors".

Even the Scenes in the test cell fire that message.

 

Tested with a new game only Fourplay (0.8.1) and its requirements installed.

 

I have a bad feeling that i know what it is, because it seems this is not a common issue...

Can't seem to get it to do anything. I tried some of the things listed as fixes. Just not the custom race part because I'm not sure what you want me to do with that string of code.. and it sort of seemed like you said the current version is supposed to recognize custom races?

 

I don't know, I'm too tired to pop the GECK open and look at it right now. Not even sure if that is what you meant to be done, script-wise.

I just want to remind everyone, Doc is a real person and he is doing this for free in between real life stuff and presumably a full time job. Reporting bugs is fine im sure, but complaining about every little thing constantly isn't helping Doc at all. So how about showing some gratitude and support, and a lil understanding that something like a framework takes time to perfect, years even.

 

I - for one, am grateful to Doc and appreciate any time he devotes to this project and I respect the fact hes taken on this burden, 

 

Thanks for making Fallout 4 great again Doc! You are doing a DAMN good job and we the community greatly appreciate it!

Did you modify all of the nessesary INI files?

 

Did you create a shortcut on yer desktop to F4SE?

 

If you try to run this via NMM, it will not work.

I have to say, work lately has been a bit mad and I've been getting home too tired to do much more than watch animated Batman re-runs.

 

Which wouldn't matter normally, but there's stuff that needs doing.

For some reason there was an older FourPlay.esp in MOs overwrite folder, causing the faction property to not get filled.

Oh, that makes sense. Didn't you report a dirty edit a couple of releases back? If you clean the mod with Fo4Edit, the modified esp will end up in overwrite unless you copy it specially.

 

I wonder how many other people that caught.

I just saw an installation guide (was that there before?) and I'm certain that a few things on the list I haven't tried yet.

 

I also use the Nexus Mod Manager as my launcher and I think there are special instructions to deal with that (there is).

 

Heh I use the pony race from Crimes Against Nature.  ( http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/19040/ )

 

I'm going to try the guide (again didn't see it last night!) later tonight. I think my set up of NMM loads my games through F4SE so I'm not sure that it, itself is the issue but.. eh. I also could try moving to a different launcher, although how much trouble this might be I'm not sure.

Can't seem to get it to do anything. I tried some of the things listed as fixes. Just not the custom race part because I'm not sure what you want me to do with that string of code.. and it sort of seemed like you said the current version is supposed to recognize custom races?

 

I don't know, I'm too tired to pop the GECK open and look at it right now. Not even sure if that is what you meant to be done, script-wise.

 

Did you modify all of the nessesary INI files?

 

Did you create a shortcut on yer desktop to F4SE?

 

If you try to run this via NMM, it will not work.

I converted my race to .esm and created a simple patch that adds my race to the allowed_races formlist. Works without issue. I could do it dynamically with a terminal to avoid conflicts with other races just as easily.

 

edit: And there's that RaceCustomizer again. Not sure why that guy insists on messing with the skeleton pathing when there's no need. All four of my races use the default skeleton (in it's default location) without issue. No wonder races that use that thing have such major issues.

No it doesn't change every race in the game. That's something else that uses CAN in order to do so. CAN itself is just the race mod. So like, the player and their spouse is changed to whatever it is you might have chosen.

 

Now I'm unsure about the Race Customizer thing. I just glanced and their right, it messes with skeletons.
