Hedgelord Posted November 12, 2019 Posted November 12, 2019 Hi guys, Finally got around to finalising my first animation set, however, I am running into an issue where all my animations don't loop seemlessly, they do so in blender (this is after the baking process, so it can't be that). In game the animation either seems to skip a frame (or 2) or pause, I can't really tell which. The animation has 100 frames including the 0 frame. S4S counts 100 ticks with the tick length and duration 0.03333334 and 3.333333 repectively. I have tried setting it to 99 ticks but S4S won't let me set the duration to â€3.30000066‬.  Also I am confused as to how 'animation_negative_duration_offset' works for one of my animations that is not designed to loop. Can anybody advise on where I am going wrong?

ĹŚkami X Ningen Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 Alrighty, I have come so far, but now I really am stumped. I am reaching out just to see if anybody can tell me why my animation turns my sim into a transformer and tilts my dog. Â Warning, the image contains zoophilia...I think. It's more a mass of flesh sitting on top of a female dog. >.< Â Spoiler Â

0zzzy Posted December 10, 2019 Posted December 10, 2019 Hi! Help me out, please? How to import animation of object (not character) into Blender from a game or package file? At least transformBone animation. S4Studio has a choice of character skeletons only, and they do not contain transformBone.
YammiJammi Posted December 21, 2019 Posted December 21, 2019 Hey, so I'm having issues with getting started. I opened the male model and then I tried to append the female one but there are a bunch of options below and I have no idea what I'm supposed to click as the tutorial doesn't say what to do here. Please help

Please help Creating Basic Animations In Blender10.3. Open 'Objects’ folder and select the rig and body parts (rig, head, top, bottom, feet). To select multiple things hold the Shift key and click the things from the list. 1

SilentFred Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Hello guys,  I've been running in a strange issue regarding poses.  I created an override pose in Blender (2.79b) and then did the Sims4Studio (latest version MAC) import.  When I checked for the pose in game there is only the standard body pose. ? See image...  I selected all items in Blender (Ctrl+A) then hit I and found all items in the Dope Sheet on Frame 0. Since it is not an Animation per se I set the duration in Studio to 0.0333 and also 0.06667 on a second try, but no change...  After saving I used Sim4Studio and went on with the Animation Override  I have absolutely no clue what is going wrong. ?  Your help is highly appreciated!

How can I bake the ControlRig into the Rig? Is that necessary? Since the "animation" is a pose override with a single frame I didn't consider baking.Â
HKo_83 Posted January 14, 2020 Posted January 14, 2020 Any one using Win10 and has 2.70 installed along or as replaced 2.8x with it? It seems my pc changing didn't go as well as intented and now can't get back to animating... Thou I can animate with 2.8x (blender) the interface is not as easy as it was in 2.70 or even at 2.79 which I was mostly using... Every time I uninstall 2.8 and try to instal 2.70 I get 2.8  Help! please... anybody?

You are using a control rig , so your keyframes is in the control rig, not Ea's rig.  Click the unhide hidden bones ( the ghost icon) Make sure all the keyframes is selected in the control rig. Go to ea's rig. Select all bones in ea's rig. Click pose, animation, bake action. Make sure visual keying is selected, make sure pose is selected and click ok. It will bake your animation into the ea rig.  Spoiler      Â

Lephor Posted January 17, 2020 Posted January 17, 2020 Hello, I created a test animation, just to feel the process before  really started. My problem is that in the game, my sims aren't running all the animation and they aren't in the correct position. I've tried everything, checked blender and until then I can't identify what might be wrong. test.package S4_7DF2169C_00000000_ABDE3FA1932A8DB3.xml

And looking at the video, I don’t know what you are doing right or not. Regarding the wrong orientation of the character - perhaps you rotated the character by means of the bone b__ROOT__. This bone cannot be touched. Use transformBone for this purpose.
