Hermy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I have finally worked after v0.6 with no 9.2 error! just one thing, the exit from the cave is still called ant tunnel
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Trying to now. Is the birth running off Pregnancy settings from Pregnancy.esm or does it use it's own? It's using the pregnancy settings in MCM. The only thing I'm doing is putting the eggs in there and kickstarting the pregnancy. (I'm also aborting your pregnancy when you enter the nest, but I need people who have pregnant characters to try that out and tell me if it works)
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I have finally worked after v0.6 with no 9.2 error! just one thing' date=' the exit from the cave is still called ant tunnel [/quote'] excellent, I think what I'm going to do regarding the young is, you can keep them if you want, or there will be a nearby nest (or ant hill! ) that you can activate and it'll say something like (You've placed your young in the safety of the nest) and that'll get rid of all of them for you. At the same time you'll notice more scorpions around the nest depending on how many you've "donated"
Hermy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 For the bighorner/brahmin part it may be good to trick the player first, but then have the farmer feel bad, and offer to give you money if you want; or just birth them for fun
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Since this one will actually have dialogue (gasp!) I'll get to throw some player choice in there like you suggested. Thanks for the idea.
Hermy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 dialog is always fun, just imagining a real farmers voice talking about breeding lol
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I also need a place for the farm. Somewhere empty obviously where not a whole lot happens would be best.
Hermy Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 wouldnt the animal husbandary be the best place? actually, may not be as lore friendly
saladboy21 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 The Bighorner thing makes me think of the idea that someone has a Dog who is getting on in years does not seem to like female dogs but gets real friendly to female humans. You could offer to mate, and get something small (a few caps, a foodstuff) for having a litter of puppies for him. "Seducing" the dog could be an element through getting trust and eventually presenting yourself to him.
paddy01 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Thanks for the mod user29, been after something like this for a while! I'm having a problem though, when I follow the scorpion worker all the way to the queen I'm frozen in place standing up, I get the dialogue box but nothing else happens. This is probably my fault, sorry if this has already been mentioned somewhere. Cheers
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Pregnancy and SCR need to be up to date. I'm assuming you've got sexout installed correctly.
paddy01 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Yeah, everything is up to date, sexout is working fine
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Could you try again (load a save before you've ever visited the nest) and tell me what the console says. You could have errors there. if you don't have anything there out of the ordinary pregnancy stuff, then you need to make a clean save. Disable all your sexout related mods including this one, make a save, then reenable them and load that save.

Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'm not sure. Hermy had the same issue, we couldn't fix it for him, but upon an update it started working. I think he completely reinstalled new vegas though. I think (though I really have no idea) that is has something to do with the old sexout. The old sexout used to do that when it didn't have animations. Pride did fix 9.2 in a later update.

Might just have to wait patiently for an update to miraculously fix things XD
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Get rid of the sexout you have now and try this version
Halstrom Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Please just not too the latest PregnancyV3 is now an esm so probably won't work with SexoutBreeder till User29 updates it to suit.

deadmetal Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 yeh it also works when my character is infertile at the time of capture and so she gets effectively 'filled' with eggs
Evilrunner Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 yeh it also works when my character is infertile at the time of capture and so she gets effectively 'filled' with eggs That's nice, kind of like it that way. Less the creatures are breeding you, more like you're being used as a convenient womb.
Guest user29 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 good, i know it works when you're already fertile because that's how i tested it. If someone could go to scorpion gulch already pregnant and tell me what happens that'd be great.
Sleepy_Soul Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 So once I get the scorpion nest into a semi finished state (I'm working on it in my head right now) instead of doing deathclaws like I said I was going to do next I'm going to do a little brahmin/big horner breeding. I've got a general idea (and the name of the farmer) but I can't decide if I want it to be consensual for a change of pace' date=' or have him trick you into it or something. If consensual I was going to have him pay you money for each one you birth. Maybe I can give the player the option? Thoughs/ideas/ramblings are welcome. [/quote'] Funny you should mention that, an idea popped into my head in regards to a breeding scenario with brahmin/bullhorners. It begins with Buckets, an old revamped Securitron model that was used pre-war to inseminate brahmin. After the bombs dropped, all of Buckets' farmer pals died, but it continued on with its duties. Unfortunately, the remaining radiation rendered all the Husbandry's brahmin sterile, so Buckets had quite a problem on its hands. But the convenient twist in the tale is that Buckets was built and programmed with some rather high-grade military pre-war tech. This allowed it to do some science-y stuff with Bullhorner sperm to allow it to impregnate a human egg with brahmin offspring. So enters the player, whom upon entering the area below the Husbandry farm is electro-prodded and strapped up to a stockade (Sexout has that model right?) in a 'cow-breeding' scenario with Buckets. Despite his programming prowess, Buckets still believes that the war is still ongoing, and that he must provide more meat to feed all the 'boys fighting the red scourge'. Thus, any dialouge would result in implantation regardless, as Buckets cannot be swayed from his patriotic duties. After the player is impregnated, Buckets would either: A) Let you 'graze' outside (let you go), if you're fairly compliant with him. or Hit you with a dose of Fert-X and put you in a cell if you're a huge jerk to him. In his scenario, you would have to escape the cell and recover your gear, all the while undergoing an accelerated pregnancy and its associated penalties. If you don't try to escape or are caught, then Buckets comes 'round and knocks you up again after the birth. Update (06/21/12): Attached a rough introduction dialogue between the player and Buckets. Two branches of conversations will dictate what Buckets does to you after seeding occurs. Second attachment is an intro concept to a Feral Ghoul breeding scenario (if you haven't got one mind already User29). A bit darker than the whole Buckets scene. Feel free to change these however you want to make the process easier for ya *EDIT* Bleh, needed to convert it to a .txt file to post, and the format is horrendous. If it's ok with you User I can just past into a thread reply if it's too convoluted. Fallout S-Out - Fallout S-Out - Feral Fertility Vault.txt Fallout S-Out - Breeder Scenarios - Buckets.txt
