What is the difference between a selfish person and everyone else? Sometimes I wonder that.

True. I guess I was thinking more German Philosopher Max Stirner and his work on Egoism. I really should remember to look up words before attempting philosophy.

I don’t know if Tush Push is a proper football term but it should be.

Edit: Preferably in German

I have been Binge watching the videos of an Englishman who is rebuilding this Yacht that was built in 1910, I am up to number 83 right now, I can't seem to quit till I reach the end, the craftsmanship of Leo and some of the others is admirable.

This vid is a quick look at the whole process, start to finish... give it a view.

Sometimes I wonder if I should read any of Sigmund Freud’s writings. Or maybe I just want to read it because his ideas sound so strange.

Getting an interest payment notification is the funniest shit ever. Like, every now and then, my bank will send me a message notifying me that I’m now 10 cents richer.

> Watching a series while my luvs and children are napping, I just realized I do not know how to do CPR. I mean, we learned it in the driving school, but I forgot. It made me worried, what if I, god forbid, have to do it to my parents or our children? (My luvs know it since they have a complete check every six months). Shame on me.

I played Doom Eternal. I guess it is a platformer now.

Anyway I’d rather play Mario. Toodles.

The next game seems to have a lot more verticality than before, too. It looks like the devs are really leaning into the “run around” part of the “run around and shoot people” genre of FPS games.

Remember to think of the Bee Gees.

Just for clarification you're talking about Doom Eternal when you say next game right? I have a few issues with it most of which has already been talked about by game reviewers ad nauseum which is why I didn't want to go on a full on rant. I kind of liked the Doom series ever since Doom 2016. I am curious about how Doom: The Dark Ages will turn out.

I was referring to Dark Ages, but yeah, Eternal had a way bigger emphasis on maneuverability than 2016 I think.

I never saw the verticality in the trailers for Dark Ages but then I never watched the gameplay explanation video either.

Been a while since I’ve seen that trailer, but I’m pretty sure the Doom Slayer gets the ability to fly somehow. Also he gets a gun that uses skulls as ammunition, which is metal as fuck.

I think the next game will be set even farther back in the past. I'm talking Doom: The Stone Ages. Next thing we'll be talking about is a grenade launcher where the grenade consists of various demon bones held together by demon poop.

In the trailer it looked like Doom Guy was flying on some kind of creature. The creature looked kind of demonic. I'm more pumped about the chainsaw shield. The closest thing I could think of is Xena Chakram. Between that, the bone shooting gun and the giant robot I think the developers are leaning heavily into the Rule of Cool. I'm getting excited just talking about it. One think I hope they change is the wall jumping ability. If you look away from the wall you can look around but at the same time you can't move while in that position. If nothing else I want to be able to see where I am and where I'm jumping to without awkwardly halting movement.

Marvel Studios really made an Incredible Hulk sequel disguised as a Captain America movie.

I've wondered for years how many mod authors (and mod users) think the permission claims they make have any force beyond the social pressure that exists on sites like this one and Nexusmods. Some of the wording authors put on some of their description pages sounds like they're trying to support a hypothetical copyright infringement claim. Be aware, whoever you may be, I am not advocating copying mods and claiming the work is the copiers'. I am simply musing about what might be going through the minds of mod authors and others.
