Why do they make series, shows, movies where the main character dies at the end!

There are valid reasons for use of that particular trope. Here are a few of them.

 

1. It is a surprise to the audience as it is something that is still relatively rare, making for a more memorable final episode.

2. It makes sense for the narrative especially where war and disaster stories are concerned. A heroic sacrifice at the end leaves more of an impression than an old soldier fading away in a rest home, after all.

3. It is a way of removing one lead character to make way for another for whatever reason (perhaps the lead actor was fired or retired, maybe they did not test well with audiences or the time slot changed so the production company had to shift to a new sub-genre thus they had to recast the lead to appeal to the new primary demo). The sequel series will be able to make a clean break without any pressure to bring back the old protagonist (in theory).

4. It is darkly comical if it is sudden and/or nonsensical. See Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy or The Venture Brothers Season one for good examples of this.

You forgot one, the writers/directors telling management to piss up a rope which was the case of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" when the show left the WB for UPN after season five.

I totally forgot about those fires. This is not some kind of divine retribution. This is actual people in actual LA losing their homes.

 

I think I might just donate to piss off the skeevy business assholes taking advantage of this situation. I don't know if that makes me a good person or just some petty shitbag.

It's not easy to make new friends in California at all. Wasted of time talking to strangers online is the worst. Dating sites is horrible also. Not easy because I am still alone without friends, no acquaintance friends neither. It's hopeless. Sleepless night lately is getting tiresome. I haven't talk to anyone on dating sites 4 years now can't seem to find anyone share the same interests what I like anywhere. The time I talked to someone online when I was 48. Don't bother talking to anyone on worst place ever about animation post nobody doesn't respect you on there at all. People are very criticizable nasty and horrible so and so. No cuss anyways. I am diabetic since I was 32 years old, No job and no friends, no place of my own still living with my dysfunical family like my mom, my brother. My father passed away 14 years ago. I didn't realized I should have saved my money and I didn't know that job I had wouldn't last that long. I've been without friends since I was 15 years old.  I thought friends would last forever. I was wrong friendship and still never had relationship still. Doesn't matter what age you are without friends doesn't last anyways. Don't believe what anyone say to you just run far away from people to assum they are your friends. Pets last longer than people can still with your forever until your pets last longer until they pass away. Don't grow up too fast and too soon. I don't remember when I started play Sims games when it came out. But the first game didn't last long for me at all. The second game Sims 2 last few year until it dead. I never play Sims 3 at all. When I saw 4 what a different from the tiny people that you can't see and how they dress not nearly that good until the technology got better every years. And be patient to grow up also. I enver got that chance to grow up normal and grow up too fast at the age of 14-18 wasn't that easy to understand grow up people at that age. And having unprotected sex neither. Don't do it until you know that person also. I learn that the hard ways. Just be careful who you let in, be care, don't go to them and talk long time to know anyone. World isn't easy nothing like the Sims world you imagine. Stay where you are and where you live with your crazy family and destroy your life but they are the only family you have. I don't know how long I will still play Sims 4 games this year. The Sims 4 games made me feel happy and create whatever your imagination in your heart and head. Don't let anyone tell you that you anything bad. Just listen to yourself and keep on creating anything that you love. I love to create my art drawing and my poem and creatve cards and stickers, stories that you love from animation movies and regular movies. Don't let anyone change you. Be who you want to be that is all you are in your own life, don't end it, keep on living your own life not just from the creative world you made in the Sims 4 games or any Sims games you love. Enjoy your life. Have a good one everyone. here is few of my art drawing work that I draw, my first oil painting when I was 10 years old.

It is an entirely preventable tragedy and no one responsible for the policies/actions that created the situation will ever see a day of jail and the rest of the USA will end up paying to rebuild the houses of multi-millionaires that had their insurance cancelled because of the State's nonsensical approach to it's litigious activists.  

 

It's one thing to want to save critically endangered wild life, it's another thing to require a 6-10 month bureaucratic nightmare to clear brush from the easements under power lines and not bother to maintain the pumps needed to refill reservoirs so hydrants have pressure when you are gutting the budget of your fire departments.
