Good relationships are mutual.  One-sided relationships are doomed to fail.

And not just romantic relationships.  This also applies to friends and family.  One of the worst things that could happen to a person is dying completely alone without anyone caring about them.

A daily occurrence more and more common these days, I fit right in to this category.

No kids hence no grandkids, no wife/girlfriend, no brothers/sisters, just me living out here in the country, isolated.

This is a fact, cold hard fact, not intended to garner any sentiment other than discussion.

Which would not get one far here in the US. Girls here all want the bad boy, the Rich boy, the handsome boy, I have been broke up with in my past by two girls who said "I was too nice" see ya! Too nice my ass.  I treat ladies like your statement says, never had any see me other than weak from acting like that, I would not change my ways though and here I sit....

I gather that you are.

Guess I was fishing in the wrong pond.

Never found the "One".

But with Seven Billion people on the planet finding one is a tall order.

I poured too much hot sauce on my food and it became pure hot sauce. I'm a spice head as much as the next person but I want to taste something besides hot sauce😖

Today is J.R.R. Tolkien's birthday. Not only was he the author of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings, but he was also documented once calling Adolf Hitler a "ruddy little ignoramus."

How impressed I am with Skyrim's big cake happy birthday anniversary edition. Last time I was this impressed was xmas 1999 when my grandma made the dark forbidden scallop shells sauce of destiny
That .dll genocide
Gameplay settings like difficulty and autosaves reverting on their own cause Skyui needs a CC file?
I gain like 10fps when I uncheck controller/vibration/kinect command
Obligatory CCmods. Really subtle how they have a $ sign in front of their names
Somehow feels like running oblivion on a pentium 3 performance wise
Was any of this at least profitable for them or they're really that dense

Any of you watch

Spoiler

The Penguin

starring Colin Farrell?  Binged the whole 8 episodes yesterday, the last was disturbing, at least to me.

I won't put out any spoilers in case you have yet to see it but..... Wow.    🐧

Learning to sit when I pee - it's never too late, as cleaning all that splatter from anything within 3 feet is a non- factor now.

Dense, yes - but not solid. Ideas still manage to get through.  :D

Properly trained for marriage now that I'm too old to suffer it. Life IS funny.

I grew up with the DC Comics reading of Batman and Gotham City, since I was disappointed with the two Joker movies that recently came out I gave this a watch...Dark Stuff, Very Dark. It was well made, but you would have to be a fan of the Genre to appreciate this work. My Opinion anyway.

I did Service work at Customers homes and my Boss at the time told us all to do this when at a "Job" so as not to offend the Customer, this is where I learned the Etiquette of this method and the "put the seat down" habit that has followed me through life, Not a bad set of things any male should have the Habit of doing! Just standard etiquette to any female who visits the facility after you do.

I grew up as the only boy with older sisters, so I had to put the seat down no matter what. I also had to pull their hair out of the shower drain every so often because I was the only boy. 🙃

Which reminds me of that joke...

Spoiler

A woman walks out of the bathroom, winks at her husband, and says, "I shaved down there; you know what that means." The husband responds, "Yeah, the drain is clogged."

Some would argue that the second Joker movie doesn’t exist. Not surprising since the Joker origin story has already been told in the first one and any character nuance is lost from there.

Me watching Joker: Folie à Deux despite all the bad reviews:
